This was a sweet place to stay for our weekend away. It was only minutes away from everything we needed and the house was perfect!

This property was perfect for my family. We were participating in an event close by for 9 days. It was a great alternative to a hotel room. The house is old but very well kept. The loction being so close to local bars, restaurants, and shops is convenient and yet it's a quiet relaxing place. Patti was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything was fine, no issues

This home was very charming and comfortable. The front porch was a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and the backyard deck was great for having an outdoor meal in the evening. Downtown Sunbury is just a block away and has good restaurants, including a yummy donut shop, as well as a Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. We enjoyed our visit!

Patti is a great host, she is very accommodating. The house is a charming, old place close to a small town square. We walked to dinner both nights. I took two teenagers, my only caution is the bedrooms are RIGHT next to each other so you hear everything (good for you get kids, not for video game playing teens). Lol.

At first arrival the home is welcoming. Set up to as if you were coming back to your own home after a vacation. Perfect if you have children and want them to feel safe and calm from toys to a family first atmosphere. Plenty of space and a backyard that lends the opportunity to spread your wings and run around. The neighbors were very very friendly and awesome! More than enough food and activities to walk to just a block away. Patti was awesome at hosting! Looking forward to our next visit to the area and home-if she will have us again. It was mine and my children's pleasure. Thank you! Please visit this humbled abode!

We loved staying in this old farmhouse. The accommodations are not extravagant but definitely met all of our needs and expectations. The host responded very quickly to all of our questions and concerns. Would definitely choose this place if we are in the area in the future.

We loved our stay at this charming old house! It has all the endearing quirks you would expect from a 100+ year-old home, plus an enormous back yard that entertained our children endlessly. The main square is only half a block away with many dining options and open space. (We highly recommend the cafe, Surve!) The home owner let us know she was available if we needed anything and always answered messages quickly. If we are back in the area, we will stay here again.

We came to Ohio to visit family and this little house was the perfect space to be able to gather and share the holidays. It is a little creaky as you walk around but what you would expect from a 1901 house. The front porch was a great place to have a cup of coffee and read a book. Patti was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions.

The location of the home was perfect for our group as we were close to Delaware for our race event, but also a very short walk to the Sunbury town square for dinner and breakfast options. The back deck and back yard were an added area for relaxation!
There were many unique aspects to this rental that should be clearly shared in its description, including: the 3rd bedroom can only be accessed through the bathroom, the bathroom door is a sliding barn door that doesn’t provide full privacy, the 1/2 bathroom is separate from the laundry room and kitchen only by a shower curtain, bedrooms 1 and 2 have floor vents that go directly into the living and dining rooms below (you can see and hear into the rooms above and below), steps to side door were very narrow and steep, steps to back deck looked in need of repair, there were ants in the kitchen, and the first hours of our stay were spent cleaning the rental.
Otherwise, beds were very comfortable and the home met our needs. The home owner was very responsive to our questions, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay! The house is very comfortable. The neighbors are friendly. The town is quiet and many places are within walking distance. Ms. Patti is a fantastic hostess and quick to respond!

This was a great place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. It is in walking distance of restaurants and shops and a nice walking path. We loved being able to walk to the donut bakery and enjoyed the backyard, especially the swing.

The quirks: The downstairs bathroom has just a toilet with a shower curtain to close it off to the kitchen. The upstairs has a barn door door that does not totally close off the opening. One bedroom can only be accessed through the upstairs bedroom. Otherwise it’s a great location to the town square and has that small charm feel.

This house should be condemned. The foundation is severely compromised and the whole house is leaning dangerously. I would not put my family in this house. The entry stairs leading in and out of the house where the driveway is are way too narrow to safely step on. My husband actually fell exiting the house because of these stairs. None of the interior doors shut properly due to the house being so unlevel. There is a toilet in the same area as the kitchen with nothing more than a shower curtain between the person using the toilet and anyone in the kitchen. We found this quite disgusting. There is a full page of check out criteria. Taking your sheets off your bed and carrying them down stairs, wash all dishes and unload. We used a k cup coffee and max 10 scoops. We left 10 dollars on counter for use. "supposedly" she is unable to find the filter and am being charged 50 for a 5 dollar item. Since my husband fell I was trying to discuss how to proceed and she is failing to respond. Long story short... go to a hotel. Less expensive and easier experience.

My daughter had a softball tournament at Berliner and we didn't want to stay in a hotel (covid careful). This house was perfect for us, walking distance to restaurants and a quick drive to Kroger and teammates camping at Berkshire. The property was clean and communication was great.
