Friendly host, good location

No elevator, too difficult to find parking space

Um 3 Uhr in der Nacht würde uns die Tür sofort geöffnet und wir konnten problemlos einchecken. Bei der Abreise konnten wir das Gepäck noch bis in die Abendstunden da lassen und für die Abreise später abholen.

Excellent rate and a hospitable host for a reasonably comfortable en-suite bedroom with fridge within a larger apartment, with access to a full kitchen for use. Well-located in terms of public transport and in a vibrant working neighbourhood with businesses, places to eat and drink, and a grocery store, all within a few minutes' walk. Well-served by frequent, reliable, and cheap bus routes (including a weekend night bus). The room also had its own small fridge, large enough to store beverages and pizza in.

Contrary to the name, the location is not in the city centre, but in an inner suburb on the western side of town. It's a ~35-minute walk to the city centre, though we always took the bus instead, or an Uber late at night when there was no night bus. We didn't mind it, but we can concur with other reviews that if you want a quiet stay, this is not the place. An adjoining room is the host's living room, and noise from the neighbourhood is also frequent. Although this is during the day, not at night, you shouldn't be bothered when trying to sleep. We ran out of hot water for showers one particular night, but it didn't occur again. In terms of accessibility, the property is a third-floor walk-up; the building has no lift. The shower unit is serviceable but on the small side; a larger person would struggle to use it comfortably.

It is a really essential place. If you are looking for a bed for one night , this is the place. However, If you want to enjoy a holiday better another place.

The smell of cigarettes and cats in all over the place. Total lack of privacy.
