Clean, and fairly good value for the money (these days)

A bit outdated, and no breakfast

The room we were given was large, beds were comfortable which was important after a super busy event day. Glad for a fridge and microwave. Renovations had been done to update it a bit. We really enjoyed having our own carport. The manager was kind enough to offer us this bigger room when we checked in.

I know that uncarpeted rooms are the trend now but a few throw rugs or runners near the beds would be helpful.

Not going to lie, I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews on here. I'm so happy I went with my gut and booked anyway. We stayed in room 10. The room was updated, extremely clean and fresh. No lingering motel musty smell at all, if you're worrried about that! The owners live right on the property and were very attentive. I asked about a microwave a day or so before our stay. I was told they would put one in the room when we arrived and they had it in the room before we even got there. The carports were an absolute bonus, especially when leaving a softball game we got rained out of. The ability to unload the truck out of the rain, YES. Plus they have a little table and chairs under each so you can enjoy the fresh air even when the weather isn't the best. We needed extra towels and wash cloths, she ran to get them. A friend asked for an extra blanket for another room, it was right there. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and want to thank them for being so kind and inviting.

Location. That’s about it.

The toilet leaked water out of the base because it was wobbling around. There were slugs around the toilet when we came back at night. The walls are so thin you could hear everything that happened next door. The AC was so freaking loud, couldn’t sleep half of the night. I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning especially for the cost. But that’s Skaneateles.

The room was exceptionally clean and cozy. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. All amenities were as advertised.

The only flaw was the drain in the shower. The water went down very slowly and forced me to rush to get out before the water overflowed onto the bathroom floor.

Nothing

There were bugs all over the room. Ants crawling in the room and the bathroom. It was outdated. There was no breakfast. The floors were dirty. They had a refrigerator in the room but you had to buy the drinks they had put in there. No room to put our things. No ice! No back yard to look at like specified. A dump for that ridiculous price.
