Nothing really. The drive up is a bit challenging with some one lane sections but go slow and it's fine. Access to Pinhao and other quintas will require a taxi, but the hotel arranged that for us

Clean, cozy, comfortable, and incredibly private view of the valley and mountains. Breakfast was especially exceptional with a vast array of fruits, meat, cheeses, yogurt, and several kinds of jams. They even had gluten free bread for me! We also loved that they always had a fire burning in the kitchen/dining room area, which gave a particularly comforting smell to our stay.

The Quinta is amazing, it’s not only the scenery that contributes to this,but the people working there! The food is so good, so don’t miss it. Thank you guys for an unforgettable experience!

Very beautiful and very relaxing. On site tour was interesting. Staff was incredibly attentive. Breakfast was perfect and dinner was fantastic. Taking a swim overlooking the vineyard - the best! We hope to return!

It’s simply stunning from the crisp bed linen and impeccable interiors to the pool overlooking the vines and olives, the wine tasting and the home cooked delights.

This was a real lucky shot! Extremely beautiful housing consisting of both traditional and modern elements. In a wonderful surrounding - particularly the pool, being a bit remote from the rest, impressed us with its beautiful view. Both breakfast and dinner was very good, the wine is recommendable, and the included winery tour was really interesting. And last not least very friendly and nice staff!

The location has an amazing view, and the ambient is very familiar, one may go all the time in the kitchen to prepare by him/herself coffee or tea, and enjoy cookies and cakes.

It is quite difficult to arrive there and it is quite isolated from other location. Going out at night by own car is not recommended.

If you want to chill out and relax - this is the place. We came from Lisbon which was crammed with tourists so it was a very welcome respite. We stayed for three nights and didn’t leave - it was that good! During the day we pretty much had the pool to ourselves as we lazed in the shade of an old cork tree. The views from the terrace are beautiful! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food and wine are delicious. Breakfast is a treat with homemade breads and jams, fresh fruit, yoghurts, with eggs cooked to order. Dinner is eaten on the terrace as the sun sets…it was also delicious. You can wander through the vineyards and taste some of the fine wines produced on the farm. The only problem is deciding which ones to bring home! One of the best places we’ve stayed in Portugal!

If you don’t have a hire car best way to travel is by train from Porto to Pinhao and then take a local taxi to the hotel. They are more familiar with the narrow, winding roads.

The location of this hotel is stunning! A few years ago the property was renovated, and the architect at a fabulous job with the winery, the end, and the seamless freshwater pool. Breakfast is very delicious with plenty of options. and the staff were extremely helpful. Two of the three nights first day we ate dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. Staying here was the highlight of our trip, and yes, we would return. Thanks so much for making our anniversary special!

Everything was perfect.

The architecture, interior design and landscape architecture is amazing. And, of course, the vistas and vineyards are breathtaking.
