The accommodation was very well presented and the hosts very friendly too. Everything we needed was available.

The WiFi was weak. There is a magnificent bath however we couldn’t work out how to use it !

It was the last stay of our journey and we didn’t have data connection… I had forgotten if it was a whole apartment or what I had booked. Anyway, I knew it wasn’t a hotel and that we didn’t have food provided, so we went to a supermarket and bought an already meal (it needed heating). When we got to the room, we realized that we didn’t have a microwave, although there is a fridge. So the owner (I’m so sorry I forgot his name), kindly heated our ready meals in his own home and lend us some cutlery. We couldn’t be more appreciated. Moreover, we got there a bit later than planned as we were driving from up north and you never know. He let the instructions perfectly written for us to follow and we were able to park our car and go straight to our room.

I’m sb who needs to go a lot to the bathroom at night… it was quite difficult to find the switch to the light (actually, I didn’t hehehe). But this is not a biggie :). The room is nice and well equipped. In booking it is advertised as a single thing, but apparently, there are other bigger apartments in the place… that’s what mislead me a bit.

Lovely, interesting place to stay. You can walk to the top of the tower. Beautiful building and great central location. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. Good value.

Nothing negative. I was slightly confused upon arrival because there’s no reception as such, you ring the bell on a residential door.

Great location short walk to the centre. Secure parking we were allowed to park early on request. Good size room, powerful shower, clean and quiet. Would recommend a 100 %

it was in a great location, in a beautiful old couvent ( which is being renovated by owner) . staff were very helpful and full of information about the history of the building. clean and very quiet. another bonus was the use of a free parking space. there is also a roof terrace, accessed by the old tower with wonderful views over Narbonne

Chambre du couvent is an exceptional property...the room was perfect for two people...plenty of storage space in the armoire...from the refrigerator to the coffee machine to the great salle de bain...it was a joy to 'accidentally' discover this lodging. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and given a tour of the 'under restoration' part of the old building. Our host was a cheery and informative delight. We will try to stay here in any further trips to Narbonne.

The room was spacious, decorated with great taste mixing antique and new functional furniture. Very comfortable bed. It is just incredible to be able to stay at such a place. Beautiful church, it will be nice to see it restored in our next visit

The most confortable bed ever, the room was spotless and having a safe locked garage is the extra bit I loved.

Delightful experience at this site of historical significance. The host is friendly and helpful, the restoration of this medieval building is tasteful and inspiring, the equipment and furniture are modern and in excellent condition, everything is clean and well maintained, and the location is unbeatable. Don’t miss the wonderful view at the “clocher” too! Highly recommended.

What a gem of a find in a perfect location, just 5 minutes walk from the cathedral, main square, Sunday market and minutes from restaurants and bars. But the beauty was in its uniqueness. A former convent which has been renovated to house a few rooms, it is possible to view the parts still to renovate, without any noisy renovation work going on. A charming spiral staircase leads you to a beautiful rooftop terrace with fantastic views of Narbonne cathedral and the city. We were blown away by this accommodation and the bargain price of staying there. Would definitely return and recommend to our friends. The owner called us to see what time we would arrive, and was very welcoming and friendly. He said there would be someone waiting to greet us and show us to the private parking (part of the building and perfectly secure with a 'zapper' to open and close the huge wooden doors which lead to approximately 4 parking spaces), The girl that met us was lovely and friendly and gave us a brief history of the building. Although we speak French her English was better and so she was kind enough to explain everything in English. The room was perfect, had all that we needed and was perfectly clean. 100% recommend.

Location, location, location!!! Excellent welcome by the owner and great bonus of having access to the convent viewing tower with lovely views over Narbonne and it's stunning cathedral. We'll be back!!!!
