Quiet quaint cape house nestled between two coves
Im Zentrum der Küstenregion von Maine. Alles ist neu in diesem 3-Zimmer-Cape, einschließlich aller Küchengeräte. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend mit wunderschönem Interieur, voll möbliert, 15 Minuten von einer öffentlichen Bootsrampe entfernt. Es gibt 2 Trekkingräder mit neuen Reifen für Helme. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr fahrradfreundlich. Mit einem Real Flame®-Kamin zum Entspannen in kühlen Nächten.
Es gibt besonders komfortable Kingsize- und Queensize-Betten sowie 2 Einzelbetten. Das Haus ist tierfreundlich mit einer extra großen Hundekiste, waschbarem Bett und Hundenäpfen. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind mit Seife vorhanden. Die Dusche ist mit einem Regenduschkopf ausgestattet.
Es gibt einen ca. 15-minütigen bewaldeten Wanderweg (mit rosa Bändern markiert), der zum Ozean und zur Muscongus-Bucht (alle Teile des Grundstücks) führt, die nur im Winter aufgrund von Vegetationsbewuchs genutzt werden.
Es gibt mehrere Orte in der Gegend, an denen Sie frische Meeresfrüchte "vom Boot" kaufen können. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Hannaford Nähe und andere Meeresfrüchte / Restaurants. Es gibt auch frische Eier und Stände in der Umgebung. In ganz Maine gibt es Felder mit lila Wildblumenarrangements von Mutter Natur, die im Frühling, Sommer und Herbst süß duften und sich in der Brise wiegen.
Es hat freie inländische Ferngespräche für die Vereinigten Staaten Es gibt WLAN und Kabel auf einem 42-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher. Es gibt einen Hummer Topf und Werkzeuge, Mixer, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett und Haartrockner.

Overall a very enjoyable rural property in the rocky Mid-Coast region of Maine. Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and it was a great base from which to explore Maine in all directions. Pros:- Comfortable beds, good sized living area, nice kitchen & dining table. We are most meals there (Note: the knives were very dull though, so plan ahead for things you have to cut) - Good price and value for what was offered- Great location - secluded, quiet, great view of the stars, but still generally accessible to the highway (10 min)- Front porch & swing were a plus, very peaceful and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing there- Owner was responsive with detailed instructions before check in- Bike was a nice option too; it looked very nice; but we didn’t end up using it Cons:- Bugs - There were quite a few spiders and other bugs. Not a shock as it was rural, but we ended up killing bugs and spiders every day. This was probably the biggest negative. - One bathroom was a little tight for our family of 4. Hot water didn’t always last through four showers. It was as advertised, but it made our logistics a little more challenging- Grill - Nice to have for sure, but it was pain to carry it outside, set up, use, and bring back inside each time. - Private trail - it didn’t lead anywhere. We couldn’t access or even really view the water from the trail. I wouldn’t recommend using it.

This house is in a great location to explore. Host was responsive and very helpful. The house was very nice and in a quiet location which was nice for relaxing after a long day of exploring! Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and well equipped. The furnishings were comfortable and air conditioners which were necessary because of the weather were adequate for the space. The only negative was on a couple of afternoons it seemed like there was something up with the septic system. We noticed a unpleasant odor for a short period of time and it then disappated. If not for that I would have given the house 5 stars.

Getting to the property was a breeze and the way in you’ll find views of the beautiful cove. The property itself doesn’t really have a driveway and the grass was just cut so without any walkway or driveway you track grass inside the home. Nice to have to grass cut but drawback is sweeping constantly. The home itself is nicely updated but the outside definitely comes inside. I spent time cleaning spiders, ants, German roaches and ladybugs. The ladybugs don’t really bother any of us but the other pests were overwhelming having a toddler and pets. The home was well stocked in terms of the kitchen and bathroom. Drawback is bathroom is on the first level. The beds in the two rooms with single beds were comfy. The couch was not, very narrow and it’s in front of a beam which you will definitely bump your head on. Generally for a floor plan so small there is too much furniture in the living room. The house didn’t seem refreshed and cleaned as the floors, carpet, and hard surfaces weren’t clean as expected. The dog crate came in handy and was very convenient for pets. The power went out during our stay and we communicated with the hosts but didn’t get a call back until a few hours later. Grateful the power wasn’t out long. Neighborhood was quiet at night but the street was much busier than we expected. Also We were not expecting to travel all the way up to Maine and stay across from a flying confederate flag. Best part was Moody’s Diner and the drive to Rockland. Would not return.
