The place was amazing, we had the room at the roof, it was spacious with all facilities working and a really good internet.

A simple yet very well equipped and sufficient apartment in the West Bank of Luxor. The staffs have been super helpful, kind and friendly. We took some tours/transport arrangements with Mohamed and it all turned out very well. Also an easy walk to the shops (fruits, drinks, snacks), ferry to East Bank and other choices of restaurants nearby.

Everything, the people, the service, the food, the length they go to accommodate guest, compassionate and caring. They go above and beyond to keep the guest happy and meet their needs. If the guest needs anything, they help you promptly and never hesitate. They always smiling and greet the guest. During our stay, we felt like we were at home. They also provide other services eg- tours, private transportation, river Nile boat trip and swimming, hot air balloon and the list goes on. If you have any food requirement or would like to try any other cuisine please check with Chef and he will try his best to fulfil your needs. I would recommend this guest house to anyone and all my family loved it. We will be definitely coming back to this property in future.

Great 4 night stay at Villa Sunrise. The location is ideal on the west coast, quiet, just opposite the temple of Luxor. The room is spacious, and equipped with a kitchen. All spaces are clean. No complaints. The team is available. I was well advised, and helped in particular for the reservation of a hot-air balloon. Thanks again Mohammad! Thank you all, hussein, mostafa, and Crocodile! Very good memories of these 4 days here. I highly recommend.

Great place, convenient with the restaurant downstairs. People were nice. There is a ferry in front of the hotel area for $2 a person, and the public ferry for 5 EGP (much cheaper option) per person is about a 20 minute walk away. The villa staff run some tours of their own, they are fairly priced and they are flexible if you talk to Mo. Good communication throughout booking process. Only issue is it is on the West Bank so you will need to get the ferry to the East Bank for some of the attractions but the West Bank is much more relaxed and the ferry rides are fun too so not really a negative. Would recommend.

20 min walk to public ferry so easier to take the private ferry which is a bit more expensive but not the end of the world, it's fine to be honest.

Bad breakfast and to late

Mohamed and his team were exceptional and so very friendly! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need, helping with trips, transport and tickets without costing a fortune. Ahmed took us out for a wonderful Felucca ride, and later invited us to Luxor’s annual celebration where we were treated like family. I could not recommend Villa Sunrise more, the accommodation is beautiful and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Mohamed!

we were greeted with a warm welcome and nothing was too much for the owners. helped in anyway possible and the room was amazing! we had the top room and it was large and had the best view (it even had a washing machine)

Very nice and hospitable place right by the Nile on Luxor's west bank. Mohamed and his family who run this place are super nice and helpful about everything. They picked us up from the bus stop, helped organize a driver for a hassle free tour of the amazing sights and arranged on time pickup tp get us to the airport in the morning. Our entire family had an awesome and unforgettable experience. Many thanks.

We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment. The wifi was good and working in all the apartment. The water in the shower was hot and with very high pressure. The location is perfect, on the west side, with several restaurant options close by and easy to get on the other side, either with the ferry or the several boats offering passage. Mohamed and the rest of the personnel were present, caring and helpful. We booked several excursions from them and the price had an honest recharge compared to what you may be able to get, without the hustle of going looking and bargaining and we tranquillity to have a very good service. In particular, I suggest the felucca ride. We felt welcomed and I would totally come back here.

The room doesn't include breakfast, but if you ask the night before it can be organized and it's very good and with a good price (otherwise there's the restaurant literally next door). The apartment is on the ground floor, so there's no view and it's a bit cold in winter (we went in January, that's probably an advantage in hotter months), but there is a beautiful terrasse on the roof with a great view. the apartment and the appliances are a bit old, the conditioners are pretty noisy and there are some leaks in the bathroom. I'm not complaining because I think that for the price it was perfect but it's better to have an honest expectation than be disappointed.

Nice staff and location, a large flat of a three floor house on the riverbank of the Nike. We also used their travel agency services to book a driver for the Valley of the Kings and for a hot hair balloon ride.

Great place to be off the mass tourism in Luxor and to enjoy. Plenty of kudos and thanks to Mohammed (and his team) for his fabulous support before and during the stay ; he just make your life easy to enjoy the places. The appartment is confortable and well equipped.

location is unbeatable right across Luxor temple, terrific views from the restaurant attached to the hotel, five minutes walk to the ferry to the east bank, which takes 5 Egyptian dollars. once at the east back, you have the Luxor museum, Luxor temple, and Karnak temple with a short walking distance. The owner of the hotel Muhammad is like our life saver and always ready to help. Let him know any questions and issues you have and he will find a way out. He arranged card transportation from and to the hotel, the balloon tour, the felucca tour, and find us English speaking drivers. Absolutely five star service.

The facility could be improved. the whole first floor apartment has no window except in the two bedrooms and so it constantly feels cold in dec during our visit. there is no shampoo etc so make sure bring your own.

1.location is perfect,close to public ferry and fellacca (5EGP/P) 2. the roof top room is very big with kitchen and bathroom. hot water is super good, washing machine with power provided. 3.it is very clean. and access to a huge balcony in very front of Niles. 4.the decor of the guesthouse is very lovely. it is worth the money for sure.

1.continental breakfast is 75 including a very thin omelet.so we ordered 2 scramble egg without recheck the menu. when we paid ,we found out it's 65EGP/per plate.a bit overpriced . (so ALWAYS check the menu when you order )next day we had breakfast next door thebe costs 120EGP seems expensive but with huge amount of everything and very tasty. 2.when we check in , the host start to selling tour package .it happens everywhere inside egypt. people needs to live we understand. but after a long bus trip we just want to get the room asap get clean and some rest.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome! We do not know English well, we communicated through Google translator, we understood everything. We were immediately seated in the room we had booked. Room with a beautiful terrace overlooking the majestic Nile. The room really has everything you need: air conditioning, kitchen with crockery and cutlery, bathroom with shower, hot water, hair dryer. The room itself is very clean, bed linen and towels are fresh and in sufficient quantity. Each room has its own Wi-Fi with the best speed! We were able to download even movies and photos. On the ground floor there is a cafe with very good prices. The food is very tasty, be sure to try the national Egyptian breakfast and Turkish coffee. Mohammed has his own boat - a felluka, we took a boat tour. We were picked up at 15:00, sailed to the banana island with Egyptian music. On the island, they looked at how bananas, oranges and mangoes grow. There are several animals - chickens, monkeys, crocodiles. We drank fresh mango on the island, we were treated to bananas only cut from a tree, this is a real royal dessert banana, not a fodder one like in Russia! After the island, we sailed to watch the sunset on the Nile, stood on another island in the middle of the river. They made us dinner there: grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, hummus, stewed vegetables, rice, delicious flatbreads. We left full and happy! Then around 18:00 we returned back to the hotel. My husband was allowed to drive the boat! Also, at our request, we went to a factory for the production of products from various stones and minerals, bought souvenirs. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier, as our plane was earlier, but we will definitely be back! Many thanks from Russia, Mohammed!

Nice, large rooms for a great value. They were able to organize some fun and more local experiences compared to traditional tour companies. Food was great!

The small apartment in the roof top has a terrace with a nice view over the river. just opposite to the Luxor temple. we loved this quite location by the river. Easy access by private motor boat (something like a taxi boat) that can be shared or no, or by public ferry. The restaurant offers a fair food which can be really convenient to enjoy after a long day visiting places around Luxor. although we didn’t use it, the apartment had a kitchen with its equipment and a washing machine.

air conditioning was a little noisy, but in the other hand it worked well and help us a lot.

Great terrace with sea views. we absolutely recommend the place. the owner has been very nice, and organice a Abydos and Dendera trip for us that was cheaper that other agencies and the guide was so good. Then, he recommend and organice us a dinner in a typical egypcian restaurant that was so good. We are so grateful with all the experience
