We enjoyed the charming, cosy, quiet and comfortable attic room with ensuite bathroom (shower & wc) opening onto a large, secluded terrace (great for morning yoga, bring your own mat). We availed ourselves of the kitchenette facilities downstairs for breakfast, making lunch sandwiches for our hikes, and one simple dinner. Good value and good hiking location. Parking was included making it easy to explore both the German & Czech sides.
Note that almost all houses in Hrensko back onto the sandstone cliffs of the gorge so there are necessarily stairs. Only the larger hotels will have lifts for those with mobility issues.

The owner of the pension is extremely friendly. I had a lovely and cosy room with a terrace and from the place to the hiking trails is only a very short walk. The restaurant serves a great selection of local cuisine with excellent value for money.
