The location is great. The walk to Dubrovnik Old Town took us about 15 minutes. It is pretty much downhill all the way (if you take the most direct route, you'll also be walking down quite a few steps). However, if you have the Dubrovnik Pass, it is free to hop on the number 6 bus back up the hill and they seemed to come every few minutes. We soon learned that was preferable to walking uphill all the way back! The AC in the apartment is very effective. The washing machine worked great and they provide a drying rack large enough for a full load. Because the AC works well, we found a load of clothes pretty much dried overnight, so we were able to catch up on laundry easily. The onsite parking is a phenomenal feature if you have a rental car. Getting through the gate was a little tight, but we took it slow and it was fine. And finally, the host was wonderful. So friendly and helpful. She lives in another house on site, so she is easy to contact if you need anything. Definitely do not hesitate if you are thinking of booking this property!

Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 10 Minuten von der Altstadt zu Fuß entfernt, daher tolle und ruhige Lage. Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber es fehlt an nichts. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Vermieterehepaar (es gab einen Begrüßungskaffee und am Sonntag selbstgebackenen Kuchen) und der Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Schön ist auch die Sitzecke im Garten und die umfangreiche Küchenausstattung (Filterkaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, etc.). Wir bekamen während unseres Aufenthalts Besuch von der Nachbarkatze, was uns sehr gefreut hat.

Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Absolutely perfect in all aspects of our stay. The beautiful host Ana greeted us and explained everything about the very spacious appartment and how to get to the old town (Gard) 10 minute walk. Ana made us a traditional coffee. The private courtyard was fantastic. All amenities were in excess to our needs. Sunday Ana delivered us two pieces of scrumptious home made cake. Property was so good and clean with all plants around. Owner was so nice and she welcome us with coffee, juice and fruits and she shared all insights about the places to visit. Car parking was available for free. air conditioning was working perfect. Everything was good. kitchen was good. She even kept oil there. We didn’t cook though. Wash room was clean. We didn’t use washing machine. Old town was 10 mins walk and you have to take stairs back home which is everywhere in Dubrovnik.
