Everything, the staff were amazing and so friendly, our room overlooking the pool and with seaviews brillant. The breakfast was also superb

The breakfast was okay, but the cooked breakfast options, eggs, bacon, beans etc was semi warm/cold. Comparing other hotels we've stayed in in Nerja, the breakfast buffet was limited. The pool area was nice and secluded but the noise from the fun fair spoilt it, but that couldn't be helped due to the vicinity of the hotel to the public car park where then fairground was held.

The hotel room and bathroom was small and needed updating. The formica around the sink area was peeling and not very nice to look at. The table on the balcony was in need of replacement as it was too unsteady to put drinks on etc, so wasn't used. The hotel did pre warn about the noise from the funfair as the hotel overlooked this area, but we were not aware that the cacophony of noise with a loud base beat that resonated and reverberated throughout the hotel would start at 1pm in the afternoon and go on until 5am in the morning. Therefore relaxing around the pool was impossible so we didn't use this facility and was unable to sleep for the two nights we were there, which was the 9th and 10th October, checking out on the 11th. As it was my birthday on the 10th, the trip was especially planned to celebrate my special day, but the noise and having no sleep spoilt the occasion which was very disappointing. It was so bad that we would have checked out a day early, fortunately we had only booked for two nights, however, the terms of the booking is such that I couldn't claim for a refund for leaving a day early against the total price I paid.
