Amazing staff. Special thanks to Soma and Gday who looked after us very well. The villa is located in a very scenic area with amazing scenery. It is surrounded by nature. They refilled us with fresh fruit every morning. The pool is a decent size. Would definitely stay again.

The road leading to the property is very narrow and i would therefore recommend only using the shuttle service from the villa itself

Some Taxi were afraid to drive through very narrow road to houses but we like it.

Very attentive host, they made sure we had all the information we needed to feel comfortable in the space. The villa itself was very nicely decorated and exactly what we were looking for. The bathroom is outdoors, as most tend to be in Bali villas. The pool was a great size and we asked for floating breakfast which was delicious and plentiful. The room was very clean and well equipped. There was a nice view of a rice field next to the outdoor space.

There is a lovely stone tub in the bathroom that we really wanted to make use of but unfortunately the hot water is capped at 50L per hour which meant that it would take hours to fill the tub. The road leading to the villa can be challenging for some drivers but the host offered to drive us on a scooter to an easier meeting point, if necessary.

Stunning decoration with many little antique things, really private. the owner is very responsive and attentative, the staff is calm and helpful. Good distant from ubud center, not too far to approach other service but not too close so we can have a private space.

Access road is not quite pleasant, really small and bumpy. Our car driver took some time to locate the hotel and is extremely careful when passing the narrow lane. But i guess that is just another fun experience about Bali.

the style of the villa was very authentic and recreational at the same time. the room was clean and the surrounded facilities were taken care of. you feel like you’re in the middle of nature. the staff was extremely cooperative and assisted with our needs such as meal requests, transportation to and from the airport, and full day tour requests.

1. one of the legs at the pool chair was broken but still usable. 2. Insects and frogs found by the pool — but it is expected tbh since we were in the middle of nature and surrounded by trees.

The place was amazing. Very clean and the stuff was very helpful and polite. Kadek was incredible, always there for us,all the time during our stay for everything we need. If you want to feel the real Bali atmosphere,far from the touristic crowds, this is the place for you.

The access to the property is not that great. The road is bad and very narrow so people renting bikes should be careful.

It was a very beautiful, traditional Balinese style wooden villa with a gorgeous, private pool surrounded by lush plants and tropical flowers. We loved the goddess water feature and beautiful birds and butterflies that visited. Spacious half outside bathroom with orchids growing on the walls, just stunning! A generous, tasty breakfast was brought to us at a prearranged time to suit. Lovely, attentive and thoughtful staff Putu and Kadek made our stay comfortable and memorable. Convenient kitchenette and plenty of fresh water provided which was excellent, and meant we didn't have to buy more plastic bottles. Located 10-15 mins drive from Ubud centre which suited us, wanting a peaceful time during the day. A driver ( the lovely and friendly Amon in our case) provides a free ride in and out of the centre whenever you require.

Pros: Very good customer service by the staff with a welcome drink, decent size of the room.

Cons: The villa is not for everyone. Right next to the fields, we encountered frogs, snake, and rats in the walkways.. The road to get to the villa is horrible, very narrow one vehicle at the time, no street lights. The location of the villa is remote for accessibility of general transport or emergency. Lighting is not enough inside the room. It's not a value for money. We should have done more research before booking as it was a non-refundable booking. We regretted it when we arrived. Breakfast has very limited options. If you are vegan or vegetarian, there is no option. No lunch or dinner at the villa.

everything else was excellent, from service to villa equipment furniture and ambience of the villa, we really enjoyed our honeymoon there. The free shuttle to Ubud center was really useful.

fridge quite old, maybe need to be changed. Hoping to see a rice paddy field as per the advertisement, sadly it was bought by someone and they put up new ville, so no paddy view.

We loved the style of the wood antique villa . Old school. Sqeaky floors, slightly misaligned door, imperfections and repairs. All of it adds to the charm.

We didn't stay there longer. The garden still needs to grow a little more for better privacy

We love this property, this is the second time we’ve stayed here and both times have been brilliant. The villa is private, in a good location and very clean. The staff were all very polite, friendly, and helpful - they even provided a taxi service as required and offered suggestions on where to visit in Bali.

Kawan Antique Ubud Villa was our first villa in Bali before 3 other ones: it was definitely the best one! The staff is purely perfect: reactive, friendly, helpful & super flexible! If you're looking for a sweet escape, this villa will do the job beyond the expectations.

Beautifully presented villa, very private and quiet, wonderfully attentive and helpful staff. Fresh towels and linen were provided daily. A decent breakfast with a handful of choices was included in the accommodation price.

The location is not very easy to get to. There is only one single, narrow road that leads to the property, bigger cars will not fit! It is at least 10-15 min walk to the local shops and approx. 40 mins by foot to Ubud centre. The hosts were kind enough to include a daily shuttle into town for us, as we were travelling with a baby.

It would be nice in future if they could open a restaurant, as there wasn’t much option for food in the immediate area

Lovely property with nice staff and good service. This villa gives you a more authentic Bali feel and experience. Pool was a great size and a nice small outdoor area. Amazing large bathroom with large tub.

The property is located down a very narrow road in Petulu and is about 7 minute drive into Ubud town centre. Some drivers refuse to go down the road due to narrowness and you will need to walk on unmade road. If you use the villa's driver however, you will have no issue.

The villa is amazing very beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is stunning as the garden with the large swimming pool. The staff is very nice and welcoming, we loved the breakfast moment with the ceremony Lot of facilities and equipment very useful Perfect place !

The location is really far from everything. When you are tired and want to grab some food for dinner for ex you need to take a taxi again. We should have rent a scooter from the first day because you have to take taxis all the time and they are never on time
