This is our 2nd stay at this property but our first in this unit. You cannot beat the convenience of this location to shopping and dining!
As 4 women traveling alone, we were a little uncomfortable with the checkin process. We were notified by email 24 hours prior to check in that we needed to go to a lockbox in a parking lot a couple of blocks away to retrieve the room key. Previously, we would just go to the residence desk to get the key upon check-in. We were hesitant. The unit is a little more dated than the pictures reflected online, and there was trash underneath the couch from previous renters.

This unit is very comfortable with great views. We enjoyed being on the St. Regis property with great service. We have stayed at this hotel in the past, and really enjoyed having a little more room with the same level of service.

The property was great starting from location to communication. It was little hard to find the keys but we communicated through and directions helped a lot. You wish the check out times were little later then 11 am since we had a later flight but the reception helped to hold the stuff and we were able to hang by the pool, go shopping before the departure.

As other reviews have said, the property is amazing. The check in was a little odd, but went fine. The communication started slow, but once I connected with the management "team" (not through VRBO), was also fine. I was a little worried about being an "outsider" at the St. Regis, but the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. I arrived very early on a red eye to Miami and was concerned about the strict check in time. I was able to check baggage with the bell hop, enjoyed a nice lunch at one of the restaurants, and spent the rest of the time at the pool and on the wonderful beach. We didn't rent a car but had plenty to do and had great dinners in the surrounding area. This place isn't cheap, expect $200+ lunches for a family of 5, but luxury isn't cheap. Saw more Rolls Royce's in 4 days than I've seen in a lifetime. Would love to visit again!

Yes. Beautiful. Great Location. Nasty manager. If you ask for anything you are YELLED at via text and told you should be grateful that you are able to get such a great place at a price less than staying at the hotel and insinuating that he's doing you a favor and that you are cheap or cannot afford to stay at the hotel. We were blown away at how we were treated and how disespectful and nasty he was. As for using the amenities, since you are not a registered guest you need to tip very nicely ( which I do anyway ) at the beach to get a chair because only registered guests are allowed to rent chairs. Since we are beach people we didn't try the pool but I would assume its the similar. The bedroom with the bunk beds is a joke and the photos do not accurately portray the room. It is crammed and cannot realistically sleep four. At least not 4 people above 5' tall. The views are incredible and the space is comfortable. With the cost ( even tho less than the hotel ) The kitchen is good enough and has all the basics but could be brought to an appropriate level easily without too much expense. The coffee maker is pathetic , the tea kettle the same issue. There could be more to write. But I am finished with this place and never want to be treated that way again when I rent a place on VRBO

So bummed that we have to leave today! This condo is gorgeous! Beautifully appointed and sparkling clean upon our arrival. The master bedroom and en suite is lovely and spacious. The bunk room is smaller than it looks in the listing, but was perfect for our two teenage boys. Beds and pillows are super comfortable (I’m a sleep princess) and rooms both get pitch dark.
One quick FYI (not a critique because we truly loved everything about this place! Just wish we had known.)
The kitchen has a nice sized fridge/freezer, but you shouldn’t plan to cook anything. It’s just too small of a space to do anything comfortably, more than open a bottle of wine and cut up cheese, fruit, etc for a simple charcuterie board for the deck at sunset. (Seriously, do this!) Plus, there are SO many incredible restaurants close by that you won’t want to have a meal in the condo!
Needless to say, the St Regis hotel amenities are fantastic. The beach is narrow and packed with people, but clean and nice. Wonderful service on the beach as well.
There is a CVS/corner market and a Starbucks just over a block away. Super convenient.
We will definitely stay with David again if we ever find our way back to Miami!

A few pointers.
There is zero negotiation for early check in or late check out, even for a fee i offered extra $ for a late checkout. (They make it clear in the listing) but so does every hotel. But there is zero leeway here.
Check in process
You need to walk about 8-10 min each way to pick up the key to your room. And they will not put in the key a minute before 3:00pm
I went there at 2:30 and there was no key yet. I asked the management if the same person can drop off the key at hotel and I will meet him, they tell me they cannot do it and they are sorry. Waited around, at 2:55 still no key. Till 2:59 the person showed up. (God forbid you get a extra few minutes).
The rooms

No tissues (besides toilet paper)
No water bottles. (Most residence rentals provide these basics.)
Shower and bathroom door dont close all the way.
They show 4 beds in 2nd room (2 bunkbeds)
But they wont allow you to have more than a total of 4 guest in the apartment.
Extending our stay..
At one point i asked if we stay an extra day what the charge would be. Online they had it listed for $xxx they wanted to charge me over Double published rate per day Only after i called them out on it they came down to my original rate which was still more than published rate for that day.
Overall the hotel is great, location is great but dealing with management was a Very unprofessional atmosphere. And when you are on vacation, you dont want to be busy with all the unnecessary nonsense, that management can easily handle.
I was asked to give a 5 star review in exchange for a 5 star rating on my account. But i dont think it is fair to mislead others. Good luck

If sleeping like you are in laundry room is your thing then this unit is for you! Overall very disappointing for the rate charged.

Incredible value & gorgeous views
My family stayed here for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. You get access to the pools, beach & restaurants. This hotel has it all in one place. It’s right across from a huge mall and the grocery store is within walking distance so we didn’t even rent a car. The unit is spacious and modern/updated with amazing views of the ocean and pools. Only complaint was that we had to walk to a bike lock to get the key for the place since the hotel won’t hold onto them for the Owner. Hopefully they find a better solution for guests. Overall 5 stars! Would absolutely rent again!

Great unit at a great hotel. We've stayed at the resort before, so know it well. The unit was perfect for our family of four. Everything is well-integrated with the resort. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Hope to stay again.
