If you’re looking for an authentic place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City, this homestay is an absolute gem! The owners are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. As a musician, one of the highlights of my stay was an unforgettable guitar jam session with Dung, the owner. He’s a huge fan of classic rock and has an impressive vinyl record collection. In the evenings, he often puts on some legendary albums, creating a relaxed and unique atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The rooms are spotless, tastefully decorated, air-conditioned, and offer excellent value for money. The price per night is well below average, making this one of the best bargains I’ve found in the city. Coffee and drinks are available at the homestay, while meals can easily be enjoyed nearby. In fact, the location is fantastic for anyone wanting to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. There are countless excellent local restaurants and street food stalls within walking distance, all serving delicious food at very affordable prices. A vibrant traditional Vietnamese market is also just around the corner, adding even more local charm to the experience. If you want to experience genuine Vietnamese hospitality, stay in a comfortable and affordable place, and discover the real local life of Tan Binh, I couldn’t recommend this homestay more highly. I would happily stay here again!

The value was good. The owner was wonderful. His music collection was outstanding. Sat and talked with him, listened to music. Great vibes.

The beds were a little stiff for our liking, but for the price, it was expected.
