Landolina Palace Hotel

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was basic but with high quality offerings. The room was very clean, and the bathroom fixtures were updated and modern. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a small refrigerator with a small ice compartment for making cubes, if you had brought your own little tray which we had done. Our room had a great view of the next door cathedral. The historical location is wonderful.

Lighting could have been better, particularly in the bathroom, which had just two very small incandescent lights -- one on the ceiling and one just above the mirror. The rest of the bathroom is pretty dim, especially the shower, which is very small. I am 5'5" and 120 pounds, and I could barely turn around in it. A larger person should think twice about booking, or check with the hotel about a room with a larger shower. Also, be aware that although the hotel lists an elevator, the second floor is not handicap accessible. Along the hallway are two sets of steps, 5 up and 5 down. We were in Room 106, but this affects other nearby rooms as well. This hallway is definitely not accessible for anyone with a walker or a wheelchair. One small inconvenience for us, since breakfast doesn't start until 8:00, was the lack of a kettle or any coffee-making equipment.

Great location next to cathedral

The hotel location is iconic , hotel history and the family also was influential and important in the city - just felt luck I booked this hotel even did not realise much of those when I booked - how iconic and unique it is ! I had great experience there and Staff Monica and other hotel staffs in the restaurant are so friendly and helpful !

The room s furnitures is extremely basic , will be nicer just upgrade the bedside cabinets and add nicer lamps …. but current one served the purpose, and it’s ok for me

Kurze Dauer, das Frühstück einzunehmen; unfreundliche Bewirtung während des Frühstücks, leider auch übergriffig, räumte bereits den Tisch auf, während man noch frühstückte!!!
