This property is fantastic. Very well equipped, lots of space and large bathrooms which makes it super comfortable for large groups.
Everything was in perfect condition and we have a great time.

We love spending time as a large family here. There is plenty of space for us to be together (or not) - football in one large TV area while the Great British Bake Off is on in the other. Everything we might need to prepare meals is provided in the completely ready to use huge kitchen. Every time we come, we feel completely satisfied.

We had the best weekend at Your Big Lake house! We had our church small group retreat here with 8 families including children. From the moment we walked in our group was claiming the house a 15/10! The home is beautiful and well stocked. The bunk room and loft is a dream for kids. The yard outside was beautiful even on a dreary weekend. We played a fun game of kickball and that was deemed the highlight for nearly our whole group. The trampoline, gaga pit, hot tub, playground, basketball courts were just the cherries on top!
Destinie and Dave were super responsive and very accommodating with any questions or special requests. It felt so nice to know they were easily accessible if we needed them.
I can’t recommend the home enough! We will definitely be back. It was truly a dream! If we enjoyed it this much in the off season, I can’t imagine how much fun it is in the true “lake season”. Highly recommended!

Exceptional property designed to accommodate a very large group. Typical bottlenecks in searching for space to comfortably house nearly 30 people do not exist here. The design and layout of the house and its grounds were very functional from the multiple dishwashers, fridges, microwaves, cooking gear, beds, etc. I have stayed at over a dozen properties for family reunions / large gatherings and this one was far and away the best. We never felt on top of each other and had options to enjoy multiple areas; the younger guests spent time in the upstairs game room while others congregated in the kitchen, others in the back patio, others on the dock, others playing basketball, etc. There was truly something for everyone as games and outdoor activities were provided and numerous. The hosts were very responsive throughout the trip and immediately accommodated an unexpected washing machine malfunction. Our group will definitely be staying here again.

My family, 30 adults (20yo-66yo) and 3 toddlers, all wholeheartedly agree that this is the best place we have ever stayed as a large group. The owners of The Big Lake House have literally thought of everything! It’s true … all you need to bring are your clothes and food. All 30 adults really appreciated having actual beds to sleep in and the toddlers and adults LOVED all the toys, games, and playground (including a trampoline and Ga Ga pit). The large outdoor porch area, beach fire pit, and dock were FANTASTIC for allowing our large group to be together. The big bunk room was “super cool”. And our hosts, Dave and Destinies, were the best. Always quick to respond to questions sent through VRBO prior to our stay and I was given both of their cell #s once we arrived. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the incredible time we had at Our Big Lake House. All 33 of us highly recommend it to everyone. We know we’ll be back. 😊

There is nothing they haven’t thought of here! My women’s group does a yearly retreat and have stayed at many locations over the years and this is the best trip we’ve had! Every amenity and convenience has been covered. The views are amazing and we had an incredibly restful time. We had 29 ladies with us, with plenty of room to spread out and feed everyone. We will be in touch soon to book for next year!

It was just perfect. We never left the property. So much to do and so many places to sit and relax to read, visit and play games. The beach, the lake, the canoe, kayaks, games galore and a huge deck were all just wonderful. Large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Just can't say enough good things about this place. This place has it all! There is so much to do that we didn't even get to enjoy it all. We were amazed to find literally everything (and more) that we thought we might need to bring. It is a wonderful place and I certainly hope to be back in the future!

My line sisters and I celebrated our Deltaversary at the Big Lake House and it was everything we expected. The house was simply beautiful and we had more than enough space from planned actives and sleeping. There was nothing we needed that we could not find inside the home and whenever I texted, the property manager was always responsive. Several have expressed interest in reserving the home for their own family events in the future. Thank you for a very beautiful experience.

Our large family could easily fit in this beautiful home and the grandchildren loved the "dorm" rooms. I've never stayed in a house that provided everything - plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, hair dryers, toiletry supplies, dishwasher soap, etc. for the week - amazing. The large covered porch was great for eating meals and hanging out. The lake is quite shallow so swimming wasn't as easy for some, but everyone had a wonderful time.

We try to get together as a family once a year and this was a great property to bring us all together. The facility is so completely stocked that all we needed to do was have fun......and we did. It will be really difficult to find another property that can compare with this properties standards. Dave and Ann removed all the "stress" of making sure everyone had what they needed down to trash bags and a dumpster (which I found very helpful). Your local staff was great to communicate with and to work with. Thank you for sharing your property with my family.

I would recommended renting the boat through the owners. It’s delivered and picked up straight to the property (including a nice walkthrough).
If our plans take us back to Lake Weiss, we would rent this house 100 out of 100 times!

What a wonderful week we had! We were traveling with over 20 folks ages 1-91 and everyone had everything they needed. It was a wonderful spot and we were able to get all questions easily answered! We will be back for sure.

This is a beautiful home with everything you need from blankets for everyone to enjoy, every pot and pan and cookie sheet you can think of in the kitchen to Q-tips and cotton balls in the bathrooms! Not only is the house perfect it is on a great property that we thoroughly enjoyed using. Highly recommend for large groups!

This property is absolutely amazing. I have stayed in many VRBO properties, but this one is at the top of the list. Everything you could ever need is supplied and provided. It is immaculately clean, and very up-to-date. Having the private beach on the lake was ideal. The owners were very gracious and easy to work with. Will hopefully be returning next year!

The owners thought of everything! Such a great place. I highly recommend it. The adults sat on the deck in front of the fire pit almost the entire trip. Teenagers played pool and the youngest played on the playground. It was a little too cold to enjoy getting out on the lake for us.

This is an amazing house and so well equipped for a big group. It has tons of seating, blankets, towels, tea and coffee, kitchen ware and basics like toilet paper which made the whole experience so easy and relaxing. It also felt so clean and organized.
The only negative was music coming from next door that lasted into the night.

An incredibly spacious property with enough room for everyone. We had a great time and really enjoyed the kitchen and enormous back porch.

Could not have asked for anything nicer. Much nicer than a fancy hotel! All was included. All we had to carry was food and clothes. Only thing disappointing was the water level was down and our grandsons were counting on fishing from the pier. Is it always down during Christmas vacation? Can't wait to vacation again there.

Despite disappointment at the impracticality of outdoor activities we were hoping for at our family's Christmas reunion (single digit temps put the kabosh on that plan!), there was plenty of room and opportunities indoors for the 30 of us, representing all ages. Everyone went home happy and, according to feedback thus far, hoping to return.

We recently stayed here for our annual Housechurch cabin weekend, and the house far exceeded our expectations. Our Housechurch is a group of men and women, some married couples, and three 9 month old babies and it fit us all perfectly. It was completely stocked with all of our needs for cooking, entertaining, and just enjoying time together. The house was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel cozy and was great for our white elephant gift exchange we do every year. It is definitely somewhere we will be considering for next year. I also have to mention how kind and accommodating Ann and Dave were in the entire process and making sure we were all set for an enjoyable weekend! Highly recommend!

The property was fantastic! We loved the seclusion. There are other houses nearby, but it still felt so private. They have thought everything out so well to make sure almost every need was perfectly met! Checkout was also a breeze! We will definitely be returning for another large family outing!
