Very nice , clean, and located on the Kasilof river. The owner set us up to fish right off the dock and was very hospitable. He also set up new rods and bait for us to fish for Silvers once the season opened. Very well taken care of all around. Highly recommend!

The best beautiful view of the river from inside house, on patio or on the fishing dock. Great place to stay as we traveled to Kenai for a few fly out lake and float trips.

Far enough out of town to be enjoyable but town is only 20 minutes away. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here. Watching the river flow by is relaxing to watch and hear. Caught fish every day we were there. Mike had the gear set up and ready to go. He was also there to assist if you had any questions but was never intrusive. We felt at home here and would absolutely come here again.

Property was gorgeous. Home was beautiful and very clean and well stocked. Host was there to give advice on fishing and had poles and everything thing needed to catch your limit.

Great setting RIGHT on the river with moose sighting one morning and eagles flying by regularly. Great host who was very helpful when we unfortunately had a flat tire on our truck one morning. Would love to stay agin some day.

Wonderful location. Both owners were absolutely great! They had fishing supplies ready for us. We didn’t catch anything from the dock but we loved the view watching the eagles and spotting a seal. Only thing was that there was no wifi which one person in our group needed to get a couple of things done.

Great location and easy to locate. Everything was clean and orderly. We only stayed for one night but we would certainly stay here again.

I was traveling with my husband and 3 sons ages 17 - 25. We were awestruck by the view from the kitchen and living room. The home was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are a few flights of stairs right off the patio that lead to a private dock. Mike came out and showed us how to rig a set up for the fish that were running and even brought us some bait. A great neighbor to have.. We went hiking and exploring and on a few tours in the area but each night we would return to fish from the dock.. Every night at about 8 PM someone in our party would catch a 10-15 lb salmon. While fishing we saw bald eagles, seal and moose from the dock. We had a wonderful time. We had very spotty internet service, and Verizon did not have very good coverage in the house, but on the dock by the river I could read all my email. I know people don't go to Alaska to be online but we did have a few things that we needed to respond to. The house itself was perfect for us but I would suggest having a supply of extra blankets in the house. Even with the internet issues I would stay there again, Mike and Kim went out of their way to supply fishing gear, coolers filet knives and their knowledge of the area. If you have time to visit Homer, it is absolutely beautiful. The best food we had anywhere in Alaska was at The Flats Bistro, about 15 minutes away from the house.

The drift boat pass was the perfect stop for us on our fishing trip. The cabin was very clean and had everything g we needed. The best part was the access to the Kasilof River. Kim and Courtney were great hosts….they checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but we also felt like we had plenty of privacy. We will stay here again!

Beautiful place on kasilof river!

We loved our stay at the Drift Boat Pass! We were there for 5 nights with our family, several of whom fish and a few who do not. The house was in a stunningly beautiful spot on the river, and the dock was awesome for fishing as well as just enjoying the view from the benches. We caught fish every day we were there, and enjoyed being able to pop down to the river bank to drop a line in after the day’s other activities. Kim and Mike were so kind and welcoming. They had fishing gear available at the house and were a great source of information during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

The property and the owners were wonderful!! The location and the scenery was beautiful!! We spent most of our time out on the back deck, the dock and the fire pit.

The owner is nextdoor but he is extremely helpful and nice! Back the house is River,I got 1 fish after spending one hours fishing there,the view is amazing! The house also has ready to go fishing tools provideded by the owner! Again!he is super nice! We had a great experience in this house,thx
