Bed was not comfortable in master bedroom. Needs exterminator. Needs trash picked up. That really took away from the venue.

The place is quaint but outdated and not well maintained. Very quiet location except when the rooster next door wanted everyone to wake up.

Great house for a quick weekend!

We have family in the area, and rented this house when visiting over the Christmas holiday. Overall, a very nice property in a nice area. The house was clean and well furnished. The layout was great and perfectly suited our needs. We felt very comfortable during our stay, But. the kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures are in desperate need of update and there are many minor repairs needed throughout the house. None of this prevented us from enjoying our stay and we would consider staying here again.

First, I would like to start by saying that I don’t like being harassed about leaving a review. I do not believe in reviews or survey’s. To do either, requires a salary and I do not work for you. Both are a complete waste of time. I haven’t had WiFi since Ida. I just happen to be at my daughter’s to do this review. My first impression of the house was rustic and I was kind of worried about what I was walking into. After getting inside, the house was clean overall and in a quiet location. As for the negative: All appliances need to be upgraded. I was cooking for my friend’s daughter’s breakfast to bring for her wedding party and the burners on the stove were not leveled and didn’t heat correctly. The hot water heater needs to be upgraded as well. It ran out of hot water while I was bathing. It would never accommodate 6 people. The batteries were dead in one of the TV remotes We wanted to go out on the back porch.There are boards that need to be replaced and the swing needs to be replaced.

The biggest complaint we had about this place was the swamp near and open drainage ditch around the property. It attracted mosquitos and just felt “wet” everywhere. We weren’t there when it was raining and the water stayed that way the whole time. We also didn’t like having the rug in the family room due to it being a pet friendly place so rolled it up amd noticed it was dirty underneath.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
