I had a great time at your hotel. I will absolutely pick aspen Soldotna for my next stay. I also like to stay at the hotel across from the kenai spur highway from the aspen kenai when I choose to stay in kenai, verses Soldotna. Nevertheless, this trip was purely meant for a rest and relaxation from Anchorage so therefore next time I come down from Anchorage for an r&r trip I will try to afford a whole week, as opposed to 3 nights, and I will surely choose aspen Soldotna as my number one selection since it gets me some distance from landing in kenai from Anchorage and hence allows me for a more satisfactory r&r trip from my constant day labor experiences that I am currently experiencing here in the wonderful and beautiful city of Anchorage Alaska. I am currently getting used to labor and supervisory experiences and I absolutely look forward to an upcoming/rewarding career with the Alaska Army National Guard. Thanks aspen hotel Soldotna. Good luck with your pool upgrade and hang in there since I have reason to believe that your hotel will soon experience more bookings on a nightly basis, even during the slower winter season. The property was clean, modern, and convenient.

Clean and quiet stay. No real frills but perfectly adequate and comfy.

I wanted to go swimming but the pool was down for maintenance. Bad timing, I guess.

Location, friendly staff and room cleanliness

The staff was friendly, the coffee in the lobby was excellent, the facilities were clean and the beds were quite comfortable.

The hotel was fairly clean and in a good location for what we needed. The front staff lady was cordial but not helpful on food choices but other than that it was a place to stay. The tub would stop up when you took a shower with was gross but it was what it was..

Very clean & convenient.

Great spot to stay. Sockeye fishing on the boardwalk behind the building is world class. Our stay was during very warm weather on of our rooms Airconditioner did not work. The manager gave us another room only because we used Expedia and she could not discount us. The were sold out so some other poor sap got the hot room but with a discount.

Great hotel. Very clean and roomy with great A/C. Staff was friendly. Pool was closed for renovation so did not get to use that. Only downside was they were re-paving the parking lot when we were there so parking was a little tricky. Would recommend this hotel.

This was one of two Aspen Hotels we stayed in during our travels around Alaska. Both were outstanding. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Very clean rooms and hotel.

Room was nice, clean and quiet. My only disappointments were the pool and spa was being renovated and so no access, and although there was an area for complimentary breakfast, none was provided. Especially since travel in Alaska is so expensive, it would be nice to have a free breakfast. In spite of that, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay!

Nice clean and fresh looking room. However they advertised pool but it is being renovated. I think that HOTELS.com should inform those searching for places that these facilities are not truly available. I would have stayed elsewhere

Service was great. Front desk staff very welcoming and helpful. Gardens were beautiful and well kept. Easy access to the River Walk, restaurants, neighboring activities, etc. Great parking.

The reason we picked this hotel to stay was for the pool and hot tub and it was out of order.

I want to rooms and they were weighed down the hall from each other. I don't know why there were also people upstairs who were jumping up-and-down on the bed at night and early in the morning. I called the desk 3 times

Wasn’t informed the pool and spa we being refurbished, was not told at time of booking nor was it stated on the website, kids were kinda bummed.

Staff and the facility were great! Everything was clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

A little construction right in front of hotel. Small building so should be done soon. Otherwise, clean, safe, friendly staff, conveniently located in Soldotna. Reasonable rate.

Still working on update with pool. Will not be done for several months per sign. They did not bring new towels or come and clean which was ok with me but I didn't ask for them to skip my room. Front desk has new employees and they are still learning the job they told me that the front doors were closed from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. while no one was there but really the front doors are locked from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and there was still a person at the front desk You have to get in from the side which was not an issue. I just parked on the side there is not the grassy area in the front anymore. there's an Arby's and they were doing construction so there was bulldozing and stuff starting early in the morning. I was already awake so didn't bother me but it might have bothered other people. Noise from the hall. I took towel to cover bottom open to hall to lower volume at night. Otherwise clean, good bed and lots of room for deluxe king.

Its quite and clean. To bad the pool is still closed and they no longer offer continental breakfast. Will stay at again
