Bombora exceeded our expectations. The location was incredible - right on the point overlooking the surf break. It was so easy to grab your board and head out to the waves and upon your return, there were outdoor showers and surfboard racks to enable you to just move to the pool and chill. The food was exceptional, with daily specials and an awesome breakfast! The rooms were clean and well appointed and the beds - super comfy! The staff were warm and friendly and attended to our every need. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is set right on the beach, with the surf spot directly in front of the hotel. The pool is amazing. Its a small hotel with 12 rooms. We had a room with a Balcony overlooking the ocean. The ocean waves are constantly breaking and its a wondeful and relaxing atompshere. We got in room masssages on the balcony and it was like getting massages on the beach but with the comfort on having it in your room! I highly recommend if you want to go to Medewi!

There are no Non-smoking rooms. Its a small hotel with 12 rooms which we liked, but since nether my wife nor I are smokers, this was the only drawback to our stay.

Small hotel, wonderful location on the beach, perfect for surfers. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved the yoga equipment at each room. Great breakfast. comfortable beds. Will be back.

Exceptional boutique hotel on the Medewi Point Break. Staff fantastic, they knew your name on the first day. Had State of Origin. Fantastic food and service. Rooms very large, clean and very comfortable with great balconies. Pool area is amazing, looking out over the surf...

The location of this place is superb! The service was excellent and the staff were quick to help you out, and can provide umbrellas as well.

The room is well air conditioned. I didn't encounter any mosquitoes. However the build of our room was such that the windows aren't fully sealed (they're made of ?wooden slats that don't fully shut) so that if your neighbour or anyone is speaking outside, you'd hear it, and it might affect your sleep.

Everything was quiet adequate,the staff were very nice,(would like to make a special mention of Agus and Nopi always went out of their way to give that little extra).The local people were always friendly and helpful . Will definitely be back.

Surf and location 😎

Allthough we wanted to keep this place as a secret, this place deserves a 5 star rating! The staff is genuinly nice and they'll do anything from the heart to give you a pleasant stay! Ultimate chill and surf spot. Don't tell anyone else 😉

Our favourite place for family surfing trip

This hotel is located right next to the beach. So when dining, you have a perfect seaview. There is a nice laid back surfing vibe at the hotel. The room is big and comfy, and comes with a lovely and spacey terrace. It is one of the few hotels in Medewi that is not located right next to the Mosque, so thats really nice. Its a perfect surfing spot, and you can book the surfing boards or instructors through the hotel.

The food at the restaurant was okay, but not something to be thrilled about, and there is not that many local restaurants in the area. About the AREA and NOT hotel: There is a lot of mosques in the area, and they start their prayers at 5 in the morning, with big speakers, and they continue this praying every 30 minutes until late evening, so you should be prepared for that.

WOW what a sleepy little surfing paradise 🏄‍♂️. A bar overlooking an infinity pool overlooking a surf beach adorned by many blue balanise winged fishing boats, engulfed by tropical villages and all under the cloud filled mountain 🌊🏄‍♂️🎣🌴⛰☁️ . Words cannot do justice to this view. ☺️ Staff are the most friendliest I’ve ever seen, nothing is too much trouble. A few teething problems sorted in minutes As dusk descends, many beautiful swallows glided above crashing waves. Feasting no doubt on hovering insects, attracted to the haze 🐦 you can sit in the bar and watch the surfers and fishermen for hours Simply beautiful

There wasn’t much privacy on the deck. The shower was faulty, it sprayed the whole bathroom when you use it. The room hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived.
