Great value, lovely open floor plan and kitchen/dining/living room area, and quiet neighborhood.

They do need some better pillows.

Very spacious all areas. Great washing machine and drier. Great secluded back deck with barbeque. Lovely lake that wasn't very busy. Only an hour drive to Yosemite entry gate.

Arriving to a full dishwasher, a full bin with food spilling over, tumble drier with damp sheets in it, broken glass in the cupboard. The driveway - no matter how slow we took it, with everyone getting out before attempting entry - the car scratched and grounded out the front underside of the car. A good distance from the lake access. Difficult to find the property, no sign saying "big Tom's cabin" only confusing numbers. Outside bin was tipped over and contents strewn over the drive by an animal on 1st morning. Had to scrape up other folks garbage. One of the beds was broken resulting in head being lower than my feet.

very comfortable and well equipped

The property was quiet and secure, and clean. House was pretty comfortable. The house manager was textable and responsive. The house is close to restaurants in the area, and close enough to Yosemite.

The smoke detector battery alarm went off in the middle of the night, and chirped all the way through the morning. The smoke detector was impossible to reach, so we had to move to the bunk beds room, and those beds are very loud and uncomfortable. The house manager had the problem fixed before we got home though.

queuing into the property was really slow even having been in already we had to re queue with first time check ins this was really frustrating and slow when you had been through already and just wanted to get back in.

Pros: - I liked that the dining/living room/kitchen area was open concept so that it felt spacious and airy. - The managing agent was pretty responsive when I called him until after we'd gotten settled the first night. - The sheets and pillowcases were clean. - Both bathrooms were clean and had toilet paper and hand soap. - There was an adequate amount of towels. - There was an adequate amount of silverware, kitchen implements, and glasses. - Hot water and water pressure were good. - Fridge and freezer worked well. - Couch and armchair are comfortable. - There were a lot of DVDs to choose from. - The TV was a "smart one" so we were able to hook up our Firestick. - There were ceiling fans in each room. - There are a couple of pizza restaurants and a general store about a mile from the gate entrance. - Dishwasher seemed to work (we ran it right before we left, as instructed).

Cons: - The carbon monoxide alarm went off at 2:30 a.m. in the master bedroom on the second night and we had to figure out what to do about it (shut off the master bedroom fan and the AC) so that we didn't have to leave the property in the dark wee hours or stay and be in danger of the gas. Two of us wound up sleeping on the couch. - Booking.com listed this place as having three bathrooms when there were only two. (Hope they've fixed that.) - The additional "parking fee" of $40 was listed in very small type and not in the home's description on booking.com so I didn't see it, then it wound up being $42 when we showed up at the property gate. - We had to go a roundabout way, almost 2 miles longer, to the home we rented because it's in a gated community and we didn't get our entrance instructions until the morning of the day we flew in. We were in a national park without wi-fi at the time, so we didn't get that information until we were at the wrong gate and had to backtrack. - The grounds are not very well lit so it's difficult, after dark, to find your way to this house which is quite a distance into the community. - Master bedroom bed has a dip in the middle that you roll into. - One of the bedrooms has a half-ripped out carbon monoxide alarm. - The pillows were so thin that even using two on top of each other wasn't very comfortable. - The grounds around the house had overgrown weeds and the outdoor furniture wasn't in very good shape so we didn't use the back deck. - The TV had a black line going down the right side of the screen so it interfered with watching anything. - The third queen bed is actually the bottom part of a twin bunkbed that's attached to it. Good for kids, not for grownups. I'd advise any travelers to bring some kitchen basics: Saran Wrap, paper towels, kitchen sponge/wash towel. Bring your own towels if you like them soft and fluffy. Ditto for pillows.

The bed, pillows, fee to enter the property, exceptionally step driveway witch you can not go up or get out without scraping the bottom off your car, washing machine was full of water and was not working, the owner doesn’t answer or return call, and many many more issues

i liked the location.

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The atmosphere around the cabin was so beautiful, and it was cool to see deer walking around so close. The cabin also offered Netflix on the tv, which was also really cool. The beds were also comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again.

The only problem is the driveway is pretty steep and will scrape the bottom of your car. As long as you go up the driveway very slow and carefully you should be fine.

The house was really nice

Not enough 1 ply toilet paper. Back deck and grill very dirty. They charge us a cleaning fee but we had to clean up and take out trash. Dirty towels were in the laundry from the stay before.Also needed more towels.Alot of Hidden fees they charged us the night before we went $250.00 deposit plus gate fee $42.00. But they charged us 2 weeks early for the full stay. Witch made no sense. No easy access anywhere. They said there was satellite but there was none thank God for Hulu live!!

it was just as described

The place is very good, quiet, silent everything was very good everything worked very well the days we spent there were very good we liked me and my family.

What I did not like and it bothered me a lot at the time that we wanted to arrive before dark but the address that they gave us with the reservation was not there, that door was closed and we saw that cars were entering and leaving but they did not open us and nothing else to us because there was a queue of cars until a person came out and told us that it was another address and then here we go through another entrance that was not in the reservation and since we got there there was a huge line to pay for the parking that was made for me very expensive and unnecessary since I paid for the property which must include parking because I was not going to walk there. In addition, the garage was closed, the car was left outside and they give you a map to get to the cabin and everything is dark with signs that you can hardly see and a deposit that they asked me for $ 250.00 so I don't know that that was not in the reservation and They told me that they were going to return it to me and I have a week and they have not returned any of that money and to tell the truth I would not go again because if you already paid for a reservation while there they ask you for more money, bad for me.

The sofa was comfortable and the large kitchen counter seating were nice.

The day before we were to check in I receive a text from the owner saying we had to agree to a $250 security deposit before we would be sent information on how to access the property. I was take off guard by this request and felt like I had no option but to accept and authorize the $250 deposit. Additionally, there was a $40 vehicle parking charge for the home. This information was not clearly stated in the initial description so again I felt taken off guard by that. The property is in. Gated community that is huge and visitors can only access the property the other main gate which is quite far from the home. It was difficult to navigate within the community and we got lost every single time we left and returned. To make things worse the drive way is very steep and out mini van scraped the pavement every time we pulled out and our tires spun every time we pulled in. Definitely would not recommend this home due to access issues with drive way especially during the winter, I can only imagine how difficult the drive way must be in the ice or snow. The home was clean on the surface but deep down dirty. I found crumbs in the crevices of the sofa, dirty kitchen drawers and cabinets and dishes that had what appeared to be sugar in them. The kitchen doings that was there was dirty and used with dried food particles in it. The bed sheets were all clean so that was a plus but all the beds squeaked when you moved and the bunk beds were downright unsafe as the wobbled excessively. The front deck was dirty and had old cigarette butts and spider webs that had not been swept off. This home had lots of flies inside and even a wasp!! The closets had personal items/junk in them like old, used slippers, jackets and random stuff. A ceramic tile was missing from the inlay in tile and it was sharp to step on. I texted the owner about it and he said he was pretty sure it was “built that way”. The kitchen sink was dirty and the under sink was filthy.

Everything was great
