The location was very good. The views couldn’t be beat. The path to the beach was literally right beside the edge of the property. If you prefer privacy, then this may not be your spot. We liked socializing with the folks passing by heading to the beach - everyone was very nice and complimentary on “our” house. We had to keep telling them it’s not ours just visiting : ( Funny, their responses were similar lol. The downsides I need to mention are the the screens missing in the master bedroom window. Also, the downstairs slider screen nearest the hot tub is coming out of its track so a lot of flys were inside the house throughout our stay. Overall, I would absolutely love to come back and stay again. The proximity to Bodega Bay is only about a half hour away. We drove in and visited the Tides Inn and ate twice. The showers and baths in the home are nicely updated as is the kitchen for the most part. The appliances are in working order but the stovetop scratched terribly from an improper cleaning item or abrasive cleaner? Overall the home is lovely. A good deep cleaning and just some TLC here and there (the windows, the grout in the kitchen floor) would truly make the property a real gem. We enjoyed the spa only one night. The very best experience overall! The view from the spa is amazing- watched the sunset on our last night here….Amazing!!

The curtains in the master bedroom aren’t fastened to the rod properly. They literally fell off while I was try to close the windows for bed lol. Awkward…my husband got a chair and put them back up but they’re not secure and will fall off again. Just a heads up! I think it’s important to have screens - we needed to use the door slider nearest the spa so the flies entered where the sc4een has lifted out of the track. Also, the master bathroom window screen totally missing. Therefore, cannot open the windows to listen to the ocean at night - that’s a bummer. Non working fan in the master bedroom- there’s a floor fan provided but it’s expected when it’s a property at this price and location, honestly.

It was so fun and close to the beach! Loved it!
