Enjoyed our stay! Owners were great. Communicated with us on or check in day to ask when we were going to arrive. When we replied we would be arriving late they offered to make up the futon so it would be ready when we arrived. Great to walk in late and have everything ready. Very clean and comfortable place to stay.

We loved our stay at The Copper Cabin in Cantwell, Alaska. It was perfect for our visit to Denali National Park. The property is about 25 miles south of the park, which was nice because the area outside the NP is crowded and busy. The Copper Cabin was sparkling clean with every amenity you could think of. The bed was cozy and comfortable, the wifi worked well, there was TV with Netflix, and great hot water. A lot of love and care has gone into this property and it shows. They even provided some snacks, great coffee, and a fully equipped and immaculate kitchen. The property owner was attentive and easy to communicate with. The property is easy to locate too. We loved our stay and hated to leave!

We loved this cabin! Perfect size for two of us. Very clean with modern conveniences. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows, well-stocked kitchen, great view with outdoor patio, spacious bathroom, comfortable recliner and couch...Highly recommend!

Cabin was very clean. It had everything you would ever need and a whole lot more! We were able to use the gas grill a couple of times. Vivian was great to communicate with and was very responsive. It was nice to be that close to Denali without being around all the crowds while trying to relax for the evening. Also there is a great BBQ food truck right in Cantwell that is open wed thru sun. We had the ribs and they were great.We would definitely stay again!

The cabin had everything one might imagine and then some. A kitchen better equipped that mine at home, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Especially appreciated were the detailed instructions and the tags applied to drawers and cabinets, indicating content and use—an effective time saver. We could not have asked for more, the comfort provided made our brief stay in Cantwell special and memorable.
On top of that, the incredible story of survival experienced by Vivian and Scott, vividly narrated in three gripping issues of a local magazine, available to the guests. I must read for everyone who opts for this wonderful accommodation.
With no doubts I would try to reserve it again should I visit Denali again in the future.

My family stayed here for a couple nights and we absolutely enjoyed our experience! The location is easy to fine, friendly hosts, large enough for my family of four, and a nice cooking space! If you’re looking for a little getaway, this is the place to go!

Scott and Vivian were wonderful hosts. The cabin was spotless and all amenities were thoughtfully curated. It is a short drive from the location to Denali and the view of the mountains from the cabin are gorgeous.

The property is very thoughtfully and well-stocked. We had everything we needed, dishes, washer/dryer, blowdryer, blankets, movies, games, really everything. It's comfortable, warm (it was mighty windy when we were there) and cozy. We enjoyed a campfire at night and slept in soundly in the morning. Vivian and Scott are thoughtful hosts. Be sure to ask them about their survival story, it's a captivating one!

Denali vicinity
This apartment was quite cozy with everything we needed plus a few extras. Vivian greeted us upon arrival to show us the apartment. She had toiletries available as well as laundry and kitchen supplies. It was nice to be close to Denali without all the hustle and bustle near the tourist stores.

Fantastic Stay
Had a Wonderful time at Cantwell Cottage. Vivian and Scott were Amazing hosts. The Cottage was Sparkling Clean , had all the essential that you could possibly need for your stay there . The view of the mountain range from the front was Spectacular ! A short drive to Danali National Park , this was a perfect spot . Would Highly recommend this Cottage....did I mention how Clean everything was

Oasis in the Wilderness
After a long day of driving up from Seward to Cantwell this home was a welcome respite. Impeccably clean and well appointed. Vivian's attention to detail is no less than 5 star. Linen quality on par with some of the finest hotels we've stayed at around the country. A sign of excellent hospitality is in the details and this home is filled with surprises that kept our family of 4 comfortable. Our sons (13 and 11) raved over the strength of the Wifi, the movie selection and the comfy futon. We loved all the "extras" shampoo, coffee and fixins, french press or regular coffee maker, electric kettle for hotwater with oatmeal and other tasty breakfast options on site - just to name a few! We brought our own food up from Anchorage but the token small bites were such a nice touch. The full washer and dryer with soap was a dream having been on the road 2 weeks with teen/tween boys! Vivian introduced us to the bear spray if we decided to take a "neighborhood walk." The home is an easy drive into Denali for day trips. We had dinner in Healy and then back to Cantwell for the night. Quiet, clean, private, restful, and close to Denali without the "tourist" feel of the immediate Denali area. We felt a little like locals staying out here - even if for 2 nights. Thank you for your hospitality!
