We loved this property - 4 rooms with 4 beds so we could all have our own space. Great fireplace for the winter and quiet location on a few acres. Communication with owner was perfect.

Loved that the house was very private on a large block but central to everything. We had the fire roaring for pizza night in. Loved everything about our stay there. We would definitely chose to stay there again.

The house was clean and tidy, very homely, beds very comfortable, a nice touch with the milk and bread already in the refrigerator. A great position, walking distance to the city.

Our family visited recently to enjoy a winter escape in Stanthorpe. Wisteria Place was perfect for our group - great location close to town, warm cosy beds and a nice fireplace. The breakfast provisions were generous and much appreciated. The house has everything you need - we had a lovely stay, thank-you.

Roomy and comfortable stay with homely touches. Big enough to accommodate two families if needed and the fireplace keeps the whole place warm. Whilst being very close to town, it feels removed and private. Great communication from the owner. Would not hesitate to stay again!

A relaxing property ideal for a larger group with plenty of beds. Fireplace was lovely and cozy. Very close to Stanthorpe, approx 5 mins. Would recommend if wanting to dine out, you may need to book ahead of time. We tried 3 restaurants on Saturday of stay and no vacancies which was surprising, yet good for those establishments.

Very close to Centre of town, very quiet and lots of space for kids to run. The fire place and firewood made it very cosy in the evenings.

Cosy home
This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s a cosy old fashioned home on a lovely block with bush at the back. We like that there are large beds in all the rooms w heaters and electrical blankets, enough lounges for everyone to get comfy, big dining table, amazing fire place with plenty of wood. Would stay again .

The house was built in the 1930s and is exactly what you would expect for the age. It has been renovated and is comfortable with no dishwasher but most other conveniences.
Lovely quiet area and 30 minutes drive to Girraween. Exactly what we were after.

COUNTRY RETREAT
Four of us from an art group enjoyed sharing this old country home, with high ceilings, fireplace, timber walls and polished floors. Each bedroom contained a queen bed with solid doors for privacy. Loved the spacious kitchen, and cozy lounge areas. A second toilet in the laundry proved most convenient. Backing onto bush, we'd occasionally view a rabbit or kangaroo jumping by. Peaceful environment located on acreage. Friendly owner ensured we had everything required. Highly recommend this property. Perfect place for a group of friends to share.

Wonderful weekend getaway
Absolutely wonderful property for myself and a group of friends to visit Stanthorpe and enjoy cycling and hiking. Owner really helpful with accommodating changes to the proposed length of stay. Rooms generous but also great areas for gathering together and chatting. Absolutely recommend. Love to return in the future. Good distance from the town centre - easily able to ride there.

We had a wonderful stay at Wisteria Place. House is beautiful - even better than the online photos. Great for families with kids as there is ample space to spread out. Loved sitting by the fire - plenty of firewood supplied. Kitchen is well equipped and the breakfast starter was great as we arrived late and didn't need to worry about getting milk and bread. Will be back again.

Our request to stay was answered in less than 12hrs & all info for directions & keys were easy to follow. Philip supplied plenty of wood for the heater. All beds had electric blankets & worked well. 2 lounge areas - both with TV’s which was helpful for early rising children (14 -11 yrs) - to be in a quiet area away from adult bedroom. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

Although there is only 1 bathroom there is a second toilet which is convenient for a large group. The only downside is that there are no insect screens (old style windows) which is a little uncomfortable on a warm night with windows closed. Owners are very agreeable people. We enjoyed our 4th stay there.

Awesome property, highly recommend it
The house was homely and had all kitchen needs plus full laundry and fireplace. Many rooms, wifi, two dining areas and two TV rooms. There were kangaroos, birds and rabbits in the front garden, all seen from the beautiful new front deck. It was nice to have a lot of space around the house with no neighbours to be seen. A truly wonderful place and we will be back soon.

Stay in Stanthorpe
My husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of nights, have a look at the country , and experience a bit of cold before winter was done. We chose this property because it wasn’t too far from the township, and had a fireplace. The bed was most comfortable, lots of firewood provided, and felt good to be surrounded by trees and a few kangaroos and hares. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks Phillip and Linda. Rowena Martin.
