This cozy cottage was just the escape we needed to de-stress. Our adult son enjoyed hours of kayaking and our pup loved bird watching with us from the shore.

Lovely cottage at the salt marsh, with the ocean a very short walk away and a plethora of restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a place to unwind, this is it. Very quiet. Beautiful views. The cottage is well-equipped, very comfortable and dog friendly. My dog and I had a fabulous week. No hassle checking in and checking out; very low key and efficient. Highly recommend!

The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and she was very nice. We would have liked if a resident beach parking pass was included as we were at the beach so often. We had a great 5 day get a way and can't wait to come back.

We loved the location. It was quieter and less congested then right down near the beach. The kayaks were a blast for my husband and his buddy. We would definitely rent again.

We stayed in the one bedroom cottage last year and enjoyed that. This year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. Love having our dogs with us.

This cottage is on the marsh side. It was so relaxing to watch the birds. We have great pictures of the Bald Eagle that came by daily. Really a wonderful cottage and stay!!!

Janine’s cottage was great and the pictures of the location (although beautiful) somehow don’t do it justice. What a view! We had everything we needed in this small but very comfy cabin. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

The property was just what my husband and I needed to refresh our busy lives and give us the immersion in nature that we were seeking. Having a cozy cottage that had all the comforts of home while in a beautiful setting was wonderful.

We had a great time at this cottage. We had the best sun set and we could not ask for a better location! walking distance to the beach :)

Everything about our stay at Zephyr cottage was perfect! The location at the end of a quiet lane on the marsh was just a short walk to beautiful Wells Beach. The cottage itself is adorable and furnished with anything you could possibly need. Our host Janine was great! She was quick to respond when we had a question and when Hurricane Dorian was expected to pass through off the coast, Janine made sure we were prepared for any potential high winds or flooding. As it turned out, the only thing Dorian brought was some amazing waves! All in all, it was a great stay! Just what we wanted!

Some cool nights..poor heating. Some warm nights..not all bedrooms ac. Chose not to cook meals...old stove and grill. Goid choice of restaurants in the area.

This was a beautiful property; couldn't have asked for better views; the marsh is right behind the camp and you have the pleasure of watching all kinds of birds such as cranes, eagles, and sea ducks right in your own backyard. The sunsets are amazing and you have the option of going to either Crescent Beach or Moody Beach. Janine made sure we had everything we needed and was there to wish us well on our trip home. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a great week, beautiful weather for kayaking. Walking distance to the beach, Forbes Restaurant and the Lobster pound.

This is a nice place to stay if you have pets. It is also good for birding. There was a bald eagle in the marsh every day we were there. Owners are friendly and give you privacy.

We loved the cottage, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife on the marsh. The cottage had everything we needed and is a pet friendly property. Easy walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants in Wells.

we enjoyed staying in Zephyr! it is quaint and comfortable with a unique cozy charm. It was also nicely located close to beaches, the salt marsh, and many towns all while being quiet and offering a feeling of remoteness. The owner was also very responsive, helpful and nice. it was just what we were looking for.

This is a lovely little vintage cottage right at the edge of a salt marsh. The location is quiet and scenic, yet convenient to the beach, restaurants, and supermarket. The house was very clean when we arrived, and well-stocked with amenities for kitchen and bath (bring your own bed linen and bath towels, but beach and dish towels are provided). Janine, the owner, came to introduce herself and was most friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy with our beach getaway at the Zephyr.

The cottage was cozy and well equipped. Great spot for sunsets! The tide controls your ability to go to the beach....no beach at high tide.

Stayed here with three adults and one child. We loved the marsh view and birdwatching during breakfast in the mornings. Close enough to everything in Wells and to Route 1, but incredibly quiet when you are at the cottage. Janine was very friendly and responsive to questions before the trip and stopped in to check on us our first evening. The cottage is rustic chic and had everything we needed. The bathroom is updated. Kitchen utensils, dishes and more were provided for us and made the trip easier! I have had friends ask where I stayed after seeing my pictures and I am happy to refer them to look up this rental. I

Excellent place to stay in Wells, Maine. Close to everything. Watch nature before your eyes. Quaint cottage with lots of amenities. Great for small pets and safe for children.
