It was a beautiful venue. A bit far out but worth it to not hear any cars
The surroundings were stunning
The house had beautiful interior design features and was more than large enough
The wood ran out and they came immediately to replenish it
Even when the batteries in remote stopped working
We arrived late on the first day but they waited for us
The hut could have had a shower
No DStv in unit. We couldn’t watch the soccer
The Wi-Fi was quite slow
Also there was no generator in our unit so we were affected by loadshedding

I loved the farm itself the wider property was beautiful
Security - we found and a door in our main bedroom that didnt lock right before we went to bed. We felt very unsafe and had to sleep on 1 tiny room with our children and locked ourselves in. The host didnt take us through the cottage when we arrived.
The gas stove also didnt work so we couldnt boil the kettle.
Little added touches could have made such a difference.

The owner and receptionist were extremely helpful, my battery went flat throughout the night and they didn't hesitate to " jump" to my rescue, excuse the pun.

bathroom needs some maintenance. the accommodation doesn’t seem to be a high priority for the farm. disappointing service.

Magnificently set in the pristine KZN Midlands. Excellent location for flyfishing. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy.

good accommodation situated away from it all on a beautiful working farm about 20 min drive inland from Nottingham Road central. good flyfishing. no cell phone signal but has WiFi.
there is a generator used during loadshedding but the area is susceptible to power outages for lengthy periods due to storms at certain times of the year. this affects power and water.

One of the accommodation’s roof was old and leaked badly. Didn’t affect the entire place but they need to sort that out.

Absolutely everything!
Sasha was such a welcoming host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Due to the weather (and our driving skills :D) we got stuck on the farm one day but Sasha and her team were there within a heartbeat to help pull us out of the mud.
There was a beer and burger night at the restaurant the one night and this was defs one of the highlights of our trip - It was a lot of fun socialising with the other guests and getting to know everyone a little bit better :)
Thank you Invermooi for a lovely Easter weekend, we will definitely be back!

Country location was lovely. Chalet very clean and comfortable.
No reliable phone connections . it was difficult to contact the property . Once we finally got the right mobile number WhatsApp communication worked fine.
