We love that the house located on a Quiet street 4 houses in from the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico and minutes from the Ocean Side and Sombrero Reef via VACA cut, with Miles of a "New" Bicycle/ walking lane along aviation Blvd. right at the end of the street, and only minutes (3 miles) from Sombrero Beach and 5 Miles from the newly restored "Old 7 Mile Bridge" walking and biking bridge spanning 2 miles to Pigeon Key. This Ground Floor, 4 bedroom 3 1/2 Bath House has ample sleeping options for every type of family/friend gathering and is handicap accessible also providing a handicap accessible floor level shower in one bathroom. We are pet friendly but there is a pet fee of 200.00 that applies for the week ample parking for several vehicles and even room out front for a boat trailer........ Bringing your boat??? then you will love the fact that the boat ramp is 1/4 mile down the road making launching your boat a dream. The floor plan is a open plan with all rooms connected to the main living room area. Every bedroom is equipped with "smart" flat-screen TVs. as well as a big screen TV in the living room. with 3 of the 4 bedrooms equipped with the own "Mitsubishi" A/C units for personal temperature preference. CANAL: The property is located on a True "Flow Through" Canal which supports abundant ocean life, with snapper, parrot fish, nurse sharks, tarpon, lobsters and many more spotted daily at our 90' Dock (60'usable as our boat & lift take up 30') 2 paddle boards a available for your enjoyment of the large bay out front loaded natural coral located at the end of the canal An amazing, inground, beach entry pool with hot tub w/ waterfall Grotto measures 40'x 15'. There is a Tiki hut sits right at the beach entry end of the pool with an outside pool 1/2 bathroom right at poolside as well as a outside hot/cold fresh water shower also the jumbo size Chess / Checkers as well as Corn Hole located in the front sandy area along the canal. Newly designed landscaping/fencing was laid out with privacy in mind. Large Outside Screened in Lanai measuring 40'x 20' with outside bar area with sink, sitting and eating area. also full size refrigerator for beverages as well as a small Bait freezer and Ice machine for the fishermen. This property is strictly a Sun-Sun, 7day rental property, we do not rent nightly.

We all enjoyed our stay. The dock was plenty big enough for our 25' boat. The house was clean and plenty of room for 8 adults. A manatee visited us twice during the week and we enjoyed watching the parrot fish around the dock too. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We like to rent a vacation home for our family Christmas celebration, which we do early so that our adult kids don't have date conflicts with their in-laws.
The Keys is our favorite location. There are so many activities that everyone stays entertained.
The Grouper House didn't disappoint. It was clean and roomy with a wonderful pool with a waterfall and grotto. the pool is heated via solar power and the water was comfortable in December weather. We had some 60 degree weather and we still enjoyed the pool. The hot tub was roomy and inviting too!
The outdoor set ups are numerous. We most enjoyed the screened in lanai. The furniture out there was so comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the details of an outdoor ice-maker, giant chess set, fishing from the canal dock and the stand-up paddle boards.
This property is highly recommended! Super clean, well outfitted and close to everything in Marathon.
Our tiny dogs enjoyed sitting in the sun and going to watch the sunset every evening.

Where do I start? The home is perfect and fitted with everything you could possibly need. The pool and hot tub were awesome and very private. The house was very clean and every bedroom had their own tv. Plenty of seating in the living room and the outside as well. I would highly recommend this home and I would definitely rent it again!

This was a first time to the Florida Keys. We vacation the week of Thanksgiving. The weather was great. It was warm and sunny most days. When we travel, we like to stay busy and explore the area, but we also want a relaxing and comfortable place to enjoy. This property did not disappoint. It was amazing. The property was well equipped, the pool and amenities on the property itself provided everything we needed and wanted. We did not have a boat but if you do, this is the place to stay. The location was also perfect as it was an easy commute to everything we wanted to do in the area. We went to the Turtle Hospital, the Aquarium, and the Dolphin Research Center. We also parasailed and chartered a captain and boat and went fishing. Everything we did, including dining options, grocery stores and drug stores were close. Because of this property's location, none of our commutes were more than 15 minutes. We are grateful for the memories we created with our family, and should we return to the Marathon area, this would be the property we would again seek out to stay.

This was the perfect place for our family to spend a week together. This was a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. Multi generational. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and our 2 grown kids and families joined us. Great home, well described. Pool and hot tub were a hit. Rented a boat for a few days and it was great to go straight from our dock out to the reef to fish. Well stocked kitchen, 2 fridges were a plus. Ice machine was a bonus! Loved the tiki hut, in fact, I fell asleep there on the couch one night and would have spent the night there if my wife hadn't come looking for me! Well maintained home. I highly recommend this location and will stay here again the next time I am in the Keys.

We had fun and relaxation from the minute we got there till we sadly packed and left! This home is in a perfect location and has a perfect layout. The owner is so friendly and there if you need him. We loved the pool deck area and the dock- lots of wildlife was enjoyed. Great beaches and boating, snorkeling and fishing. Terrific restaurants and the aquarium was a fun break from the sun. We want to come back!

This stay has definitely topped all stays, everything you could ask for plus more. An amazing place to make family memories and feel like you are at home doing so. A TRUE HOME AWAY FROM HOME. We visit the keys a couple of times per year and we’ve stayed in some great places but this one topped them all. From the spacious house and rooms to the gorgeous pool and all of the amenities and taking photos of the manatees in the canal. It was perfection. And a special shoutout to our host for being so amazing!

This property was perfect for our vacation. One of my guests is in a motorized wheelchair and we have a difficult time finding places to stay for his needs. This house checked every box on our list. The house was clean and comfortable. My children loved the pool, the oversized dock was plenty big for our boat and the fish cleaning stations were perfect. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

This home is an annual tradition for our family now. Offers a very spacious split floor plan, very clean, and the outside is an oasis. Great location near delicious restaurants and great fishing spots. We had a wonderful week long vacation. The beds are very comfortable too!

The property was perfect for a 2 family stay. Everything we needed was right there. The owner provided us with Ice when the ice maker was broke. Pool issues were addressed promptly. We were able to bring our dogs too! Beds, and furniture were very comfortable making it easy to relax and unwind. Top notch place and highly recommended. Thanks for the amazing stay!

We vacationed with another couple and our combined 3 kids between ages 10-15. The property was a laidback oasis conveniently located near everything. We rented a boat and the canal access right out the back door made it easy to explore the Keys by water.

Beautiful home with an amazing pool and backyard. You are in a neighborhood but all of the palm trees provide a private oasis. We fished right off the dock and were able to catch several mangrove snappers! We would definitely stay here again. Perfect vacation home!

House was a great space for 8 adults for a celebratory birthday week. Able to put in our boat 2 miles down from property at the public ramp and tie off at dock with water and power. Pool was great and the grotto provided shade from the sun. The screened in porch did leak when it rained but it may be the gutters just need cleaned. I contacted the owner to let them know but didn’t hear back. Glad it only rained one night. Had all pots and pans we needed and we did have to pick up trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. Bring sunscreen and bug spray and you should have an enjoyable stay.

I grew up vacationing on Grouper drive and I was so happy to get back and saty at this house and! Being close to the ocean near the end of the canal brought in great water watching! We saw 5 manatees traveling together, a nurse shark, tons of parrot fish, angel fish, and much more. The house had lots of space to lounge and not being top of each other. We had 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids) and had so much space and activities. Will definitely stay again!

A weeks stay for 3 couples and we all agreed it was our favorite house so far. The owner was very responsive to any issues. The bedroom and bathroom layout was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked a lot. The pool area is the highlight of the house, very private, super relaxing, and just a fun place to hang out at the end of the day. The week went too fast and we hope to come back some other year.

My family and I traveled to the keys for the first time and this was the perfect vacation rental for our trip. The location was ideal was taking advantage of activities in Marathon but also allowed us to travel from Key West back up to Key Largo for different activities. The house itself was awesome. The rooms were comfortable and the house was well maintained. The backyard was so good. The pool is a great size and the kids loved the waterfall and grotto. Having access to the canal was nice for paddle boarding and seeing wild life. We even got a visit from a manatee!!! We highly recommend this property for your vacation. Thanks for the memories.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Pool and hot tub are amazing. Had one question and the owner was quick to respond which is very appreciated. The house had everything we needed with 3 couples and 2 dogs. We love that the property is fenced in so the dogs could be off leash the entire stay. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to grill and cook. Off street parking for 3 vehicles a plus too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most likely rent from this owner again. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

The house was very spacious and there was plenty of room for our family of 8. The pool area was the highlight focus and we spent alot of time there. I loved that it was partially shaded to escape the sun. We also used the stand up paddle boards that came with the house to see the sunset one night. overall, it was a great house and a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas week stay. The outdoor space/pool/hot tub is amazing and we spent much of our downtime swimming. The ability to dock our boat for the week want easy access to fishing which was fantastic.

I loved the house the location and the privacy. The marine life was amazing to see. The only bad thing was the no see um’s that ate us alive every day all day and all night.

The photos do not capture the overall property, house and land, roomy for the family to spread out comfortably inside and outside. Beautiful Landscaping makes it very private. The kids loved the pool. Great location for boaters with boat launch a minute away. Lots of fish, lobsters right at dock. A Manatee stopped by. 2 sets of washer dryer in the utility room provide generous capacity to get clean towels but not noisy. If I have to pick on something to improve upon, 600 count cotton sheets, charmin toilet paper, more silverware would make me completely home together with bug spray for noseeums, which had a feast on some of us.

Great house for a group vacation. Four couples shared the house and really enjoyed ourselves. The resort style pool was a highlight as well having the large dock for our boat. It was so nice to just walk a few steps and get on the boat to go fishing. We had room to park our cars and the trailer.
Communication was easy with the owner too. He is very responsive. The kitchen has ample supplies as well. We took advantage of using the washers and dryers too. Nice to go home and not have to do laundry as soon as you walk into your own home. We loved the area and yes there are the little no see ums. But hey it’s Florida. We have insects here. Bring bug spray. We would stay again.

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip scuba diving/snorkeling for lobster. The pool was a perfect way to end the day! House was perfect. Only issue was the room with double bed was hot while the other rooms had a very nice A/C separate units. Did not damper our at all as long as they left their door open all night for A/C. House was very clean and master bedroom was large and beautiful! We definitely recommend this home for a fun family vacation!

This was 15th year going to Keys with family,
of all the home rentals throughout, this was the hands down winner for location, amenities, and layout. Our group of 9 never felt cramped for space and had a great time!

Wonderful family vacation, couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay at. House was extremely clean, well maintained and very roomy for the 8 adults in our party. The canal had fish at the dock and was so convenient to the gulf as well as the Atlantic. And saved the best for last, the pool. The pool is like a resort pool but private. Loved the waterfall and the walk in feature. Can’t say enough, would definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing time. This home is perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room and everything we need. No problem with parking the boat trailer and vehicles. Tons of dockage for the boat. And the outside pool area is absolutely beautiful and amazing. We will definitely be turning renters! Craig was great to work with, very fast to respond to questions.
