The cottage is located on a very quiet street with just a short walk to private beach access to one of America's most beautiful beaches and a 1 minute car ride or 5 minute walk to Teach's Lair Marina. NEW walkway just installed to make access to the beach a breeze! Restaurants, shopping, the Pamlico Sound or a free ferry ride to Ocracoke Island are just a quick walk, bike ride or car ride away. This was our first visit to OBX! We loved everything about this home. It was a perfect location for our family. Short walks to the beach, charter fishing out of the marina, and quick access to the car ferry made this house fit all of our requirements. The layout worked well for four teenagers and four adults. Andrew was very thorough with information and very responsive to any questions we had. We will rent again!

Beautiful house near the beach
This house was exceptionally clean, well-equipped and so close to the beach- less than a five minute walk. We really enjoyed how helpful and communicative the hosts were. We would definitely come back and rent it again.

I booked this house for my husband and a few of his friends to stay while they went deep sea fishing. They said the house was just what they needed. The house is located in the perfect spot, very clean, and stocked with everything they needed. Would love to return if ever in the area.

The owner was fantastic, and took great ownership in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. The place is immaculate, and all the finishes are new, fresh, and operational. The owner was nice enough to provide extra consumables in case we forgot anything. 10/10 recommend to others, and we will return.

Immaculate; that is the best description for this home. As we say in the south, "so clean you can eat off the floor". The home has been renovated and looks amazing. The owners did a wonderful job with this home.
We stayed during the off season so it was quiet around Hatteras, the beach, and surrounding neighborhood. The beach is a very close easy walk.
I would HIGHLY recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic!
Fantastic! From the word go, this was a fantastic experience. Andrew was quick with response and answered any questions we may have. The home was better than advertised in its kitchen stock and cleanliness! The walk to the beach or the marina was easy and quick. Truly a wonderful place that we look forward to getting back to you! I don’t really like to write reviews if sometimes when you find something that’s this good, you want to keep it close!

Great family vacation
This rental was great. Everything was just as pictured and very, very clean (we were impressed with the cleanliness). The house has everything you need to prepare meals, have fun evenings with lots of movies and games, and plenty of linens to spare. Location was perfect for us: very quiet street, a couple minute walk to the beach, and short ride to the ferry and landing.
The icing on the cake was the communication with the owner. Andrew gave us recommendations on dining, checked in on us before, during and the end of stay to see if we had questions or needed anything to make our stay better.
We highly recommend this property for others.

Very pleased with this house. I would like to recommend that the den area around the sofa and loveseat tables you need some lamps. I feel the overhead canister lights are too bright and maybe you could even install some dimmer switches on the kitchen and the den as well. Just a recommendation. Thanks for this stay and looking for a next trip.

Beautiful Beach cottage
We had an absolutely fabulous time, and we will return. Andrew’s home is perfect. It is a well appointed home and Andrew is delightful. Just a short walk to an incredible beach.

Perfect beach weekend home
This rental was ideal for our fall beach weekend. The house was spotless, had updated amenities, and had a fully stocked kitchen with any gadget you could imagine. Would highly recommend to anyone. The ability to walk to area restaurants is a plus!

Hatteras Hidden Gem!
Our family absolutely loved staying at this house! As others have said, its even better then it looks in the pictures. The house was super clean, and had all kitchen & bath necessities.
The owner of the house was so pro-active in communication and ensured all our needs were met from the very beginning to the last day of our stay and beyond.
The beach was a super quick walk from the Sand Lot, not to mention the marina and the General Store was a five minute walk right around the corner.
Overall, a fantastic experience and love this house. Highly recommend!
We will return next summer for sure!

Hatteras Village Escape
This was the perfect getaway location for our family! Easy walk to the beach, excellent layout and fully-stocked home that will meet all your needs. Enjoyed the deep freezer that stored all the freshly caught fish we couldn’t eat at once! Cleaning table and wash area was also great to have on site.
Just down the road from the ferry and Teach’s Lair marina. Easy in and out to find restaurants, groceries, ice cream and more. Have breakfast at Sonny’s and Dinner at Breakwater, you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent host and management company keep this place spotless and looking brand new. Book it while you can!

Fantastic House
This was a great house! It was way better in person than the photos! This house has a well stocked kitchen! All pots and pans Etc are great! The beds were super comfy. The furniture was nice. The built ins in the closets were fantastic! The owner was very accommodating and super prompt at answering texts. This was a great house and the whole family loved it! Hope to be back again!

Love this house!
After visiting Hatteras for 25+ years, I have to say the Sand Lot moved to the top of our list of rentals! Absolutely beautiful house accommodating you with everything you’ll want or need to make your Hatteras experience a great one!!! The boardwalk to the beach is fabulous!!!!! Fishing Weekend in Hatteras
This was our first time to Hatteras and it did not disappoint. We went down for a long weekend of surf fishing. The owner was very responsive and informed us on local favorite restaurants and also gave tips for fishing. The house is every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures and we had zero issues with anything the entire weekend. If you are looking for a place to stay where you can truly relax and not have to worry about anything this house will allow you to do that. The house is within a 100 yard walk to the beach where there is a brand new walkway to the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The house is also located very close to ramp 55 for off road vehicle access to the beach for driving. We had a great time this past weekend and I would highly recommend this property to anyone in the future.

Cozy and quiet
This house was perfect for our little family, with rooms to spare. Very clean. Hurricane Florence hit before 2 days before our planned stay, vacation had to be pushed back a few days due the damage on the island. The owners have been very easy to reach and respond quickly. Quiet neighborhood and easy beach access less than 1/2 mile down the road. Sadly the hurricane washed out part of the dunes. Would love to
Visit here again when the ferry is running to Okracoke Island. Light house is close and a couple hours up shore we visited Corolla and saw the wild horses and visited Jockey’s Ridge dunes. Great beaches with lots of shells to pick up. Shipwreck of the Atlantic less than 5 min away near beach access.
