About this farm stay rental
Located in Fitzroy Falls, this charming farm stay for $327 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. A 2 bedroom/1 bathroom self-contained air conditioned/heated, private lodge on a 70 acre cattle farm. Strict limit of 4 guests. There is only 1 guest lodge on the property. 1.5 hours drive south of Sydney. Large main room with King bed and ensuite. Bunkbed room and separate living/dining area with kitchen. Huge entertaining deck with open wood fireplace, lounge seating, outdoor dining and breakfast kitchen bar. The farm has cattle, miniature pigs, sheep, horses, goats, miniature horses, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, guinea fowl and ducks. One farm tour is included with your stay, we can arrange this for a time that is convenient normally either 8am or 4pm on whichever day of your stay suits. The tour includes feeding and caring for all the animals. During the tour we feed the poultry, hand feed the sheep and goats, feed the pigs, walk and groom the horses and drive around the property in a 6 person buggy to see the cows. This takes over an hour. The animals are all in close proximity to the cabin so you are free to interact with them during your stay. The lodge has a snowy mountain appearance with a new modern interior. The lodge has air conditioning/internal heating (fully insulated) and can't be seen from the main residence. It is very private and 300m from the road. Bed linen and towels are provided. The lodge is professionally cleaned after each visit. Guests have full access to the property including synthetic grass tennis court, (racquets & tennis balls provided) basket hoop and a kids trampoline. Small football field, gazebo, BBQ and manicured gardens. A creek runs through the property. The lodge has air conditioning and heating, gas oven/stove, microwave, BBQ, Aldi coffee machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Some basic pantry items are provided salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee otherwise all food is BYO. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player with some movies provided. No Wifi or Netflix. Telstra 3G phone reception is fine, Vodafone and Optus can have patchy reception. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Laundry facilities can be provided on request for longer stays. Just a few kms from Fitzroy Falls National Park, 20 minutes to Bowral, Kangaroo Valley, or 45 minutes to the south coast beaches. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the Southern Highlands so has the luxury of quick access to the Shoalhaven region. Easy scenic drives to Berry and Jervis Bay/Hyams Beach. The property borders National Park and is easily accessible via sealed road. Guests enter via a beautiful tree lined driveway bordered by stud black post and rail fencing. The property has a tennis court, basketball ring, horse stables, trampoline, mini rugby/soccer field with posts and 3 acres of manicured gardens. We live in the main residence and are on hand to answer any questions. The lodge is very private and separate from the main residence. We are a young easy going family with a young boy. There is a minimum 2 night stay. No guests unless pre approved. Check in 1pm and check out 10am. You have exclusive use of the property during your stay.

We had a wonderful three nights here in Spring. The property is gorgeous, easy access to all the animals that you can visit throughout the day. We loved the tennis court, walking the paddocks and facilities of the cabin.
Only downside is the bathroom is an ensuite so when used during the night it wakes you up as the light is blaring bright. The host Ciara is the kindest, friendliest and informative host you can ask for. So lovely with my daughter. We would highly recommend this property and the experience it allows you to have.

Ciara and Christian were amazing hosts, a beautiful little farm with a very homely feel.
Our 2 year old was just in love with all of the animals and facilities.
We would definitely stay again.

Loved this cosy cabin for our stay, beautiful location and a very comfortable stay! Ciara was warm, friendly and amazing host and she provided us with a wonderful tour of their beautiful farm. My daughter loves animals and enjoyed feeding and grooming the animals. We had a really pleasant stay in a beautiful location. We will hopefully be back again in summer time.

We spent a few nights here during the school holidays and loved it. The property is beautiful, with a fantastic cottage and fantastic facilities.
The kids loved the farm tour and meeting all the animals, and Christian and Ciara are great hosts.

What a beautiful property. We are a family of 4 and the lodge was the perfect property for us to relax and unwind from our busy city life. The kids (7 +10) had a great time on the trampoline. The animals became their friends. The goats, Harry and Lola were visited at any spare chance.
Ciara, took us on a tour of the farm, to feed ans see all of the animals. Ciara and Christian were kind and thoughtful hosts during our stay.
We will be back.

Farmstay was warm and cosy with outdoor fireplace for roasting marshmallows! kids loved feeding the animals, exploring the farm, playing tennis, basketball and learning about the animals and life on the farm. Felt welcomed and generously looked after by farmer Chris.

Perfect stay with young kids. They loved seeing the animals and having the space to roam around. The farm tour was great and the host friendly. Views on the property spectacular and private. The house has everything you need, a comfy king bed and bunk beds for the kids. Outdoor fire and deck great to relax and watch the stars at night! Location is perfect near town and the national park, although you'll probably want to stay on the farm. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this property. My son loved interacting with the animals and the highlight was the buggy ride as well as the tennis courts. Ciara was a great host. A short distance from amenities and great walks at the national park.

This was our second time at the farm and it did not disappoint. We loved walking around the farm, relaxing on the deck and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Another fantastic stay! We may need to make it an annual trip (it's becoming that way).

Lovely time away at the Lodge, however it is looking far more tired than the photos show. The cabin is tired and the bathroom is not very functional with a shower door that doesn't properly close and leaks throughout with a very slippery floor.
Beautiful to be in the Falls area with an outdoor fire under the many stars, but the outdoor seating is weathered and torn, and you have to chop your own firewood and carry it over to enjoy the fire. The kids enjoyed the farm animals. It was a great stay but a number of shortcomings.

The lodge had toys for the kids, with a beautiful view of the farm. We met all the animals, Ciara was a perfect host, we booked the farm tour and the kids had a ball, feeding all the animals and going for a buggy ride! Perfect for a family weekend

My husband, 2 boys (aged 2 and 4) stayed here over a weekend and we loved it. Ciara was very hospitable and provided us with a wonderful tour of their beautiful farm and had the boys feed and groom the animals. She was warm, friendly and accommodating. Even though the hosts also live on the farm, you have full privacy in the lodge and they welcome you to roam the farm and enjoy the tennis court. The lodge was lovely and suited our needs perfectly, my boys loved it, especially the bunk bed! The lodge was clean and tidy except the floor wasn't perfectly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well contained and had all the essentials. The beds were comfortable and aircon/heater allowed us to stay comfortable with the changes in weather. I had little to no phone/internet reception whilst there but I found that to be a good thing. Overall we had a really pleasant stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommend for families of 4.

We had such a wonderful 2 night stay. We were so relaxed we didn’t feel the need to venture far. The farm tour was wonderful, Ciara was wonderful including our 19 month old in all the feeding. He absolutely loved the animals. The tennis court was a nice touch to work off all the holiday wines. Great hospitality, great place, great time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, the highlight was the farm tour which the kids absolutely loved. We got to feed the animals, drive the buggy and meet their new baby cows. We felt very welcomed and the owners were lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck cooking a bbq and having the fire lit. There is a huge green space to play next to the property for the kids and a trampoline and tennis court nearby. We felt we had lots of privacy and all the utensils we needed. Very comfy beds and quality linen.

This is our second stay and it was as fun, relaxing and enjoyable as our first. The house is compact but comfortable and has everything you need (except for internet - but we knew this and it was great to “switch off” for a few days). The property is gorgeous and our son loved the farm tour and seeing and helping to feed the animals. The property is a great base for exploring the Southern Highlands. Highly recommend and we hope to be back again!

Just as described. This place was a great getaway for the weekend for our little family. Short drive to Fritzoy Fall and shops.
Our little ones (1 & 3) had a blast interacting with the animals, feeding and learning a little about them.

My kids and I loved our farm stay. There was a great selection of animals and our host made it a really fun experience for the kids. They loved going out on the buggy, feeding the animals and brushing the ponies. It was also a lifesaver that there was a tennis court with rackets and balls, plus basketballs and hoops and soccer balls. The activities were great for the kids and the grounds were spectacular. We hope to go back again

My family and I loved our Fitzroy Fall Farmstay.
The property is stunning and there is so much for the kids to see and do - tennis, basketball, rope swings, football field - you really don't need to leave however it's conveniently located to some great nature walks and a short drive to nearest town.
There are a good variety of farm animals for the kids to enjoy too (a lot more than most farmstays) and the gardens are stunning.
The accommodation is modern, bright, cosy and has beautiful views of the farm from every room.
The owners are lovely and very accommodating. We will hopefully be back again.

A beautiful time away with my sons!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to cosy up on your Fram. My sons loved the farm tour and feeding the animals, they also loved playing tennis basketball, cricket and footy. Even though it's winter and freezing cold they wanted to stay outside until it was dark! Really enjoyed the Fitzroy Falls/ Waterfalls and the short drive into town. It really was a well-rested 2 nights away and the perfect getaway for the school holidays! Thank you!

AMAZING Farm Stay!!
We’ve just spent three nights at The Lodge and it was hands down the best family holiday we’ve had in a long time! From the moment we arrived up until we left, Cira and Christian were so hospitable.
My husband and two daughters, 8 and 4 stayed for the long weekend and all had the most enjoyable time. From the farm tour and interactions with the animas to relaxing in the very private and picturesque property it was a great escape from the businesses of day to day life.
The accommodation is fantastic… even in -1 temps overnight!! They have everything covered from a well equipped kitchen to heating and bbq and outdoor fire. We ventured into town a few times however relaxing on the farm was by far the best place to be.
You really do feel at home on the property and the best part was we were the only family so the girls could play on the trampoline and walk around patting the animals like if was their own home. When we left they said goodbye to all of the animals by name!!
We’re already planning out next trip back 😊

Beautiful oasis
The property is gorgeously kept. The cabin is comfortable and we loved sitting and watching the cows from the cabins big picture windows. We loved going around with Christian to feed the animals.. kids even learnt a few things! The sheep and goats are particularly sweet.
