The view is spectacular and the property is located in a very peaceful area. Mary-Anne went out of her way to make us feel welcome and spoiled us with delicious welcoming treats. Her attention to detail is also excellent and every little thing has been thought of.
There was nothing not to like! My only small suggestion would be to sort out the door locking issue. While I felt very safe, other Gauteng guests might not be happy unless they can lock up easily.

The absolute tranquility of the surroundings with only the farm animals around. In spite of the strong winds on the 1st two nights, this was exactly what my wife and i were looking for. Will definitely recommend this establishment and will use this as our home from home when visiting our family in Cape Town

The cleanliness and the friendliness.
Breakfast could have been better. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt option would have been better than the white bread and eggs.

Cottage was great, location with the horses superb
The heating could have been better. We were there in wintertime. Without a fireplace, a heater or a electrical blanket it was pretty cold at night.

Welcoming and comfortable 3-room apartment. Well-equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Secure off-street parking. Good wifi and streaming options. Great location with 'village' feel and views.
A workspace, whether dining table or desk, would be useful for a business trip. Other than that, it's a great and affordable option in a readily-accessible and attractive location.

Loved the calm atmosphere, being able to just switch off, the comfy bed and linen and visiting the horses, the host Mary-Anne was also amazing!

Horses horses everywhere! The sense of space, the views and being within strolling/walking distance from Monkey Valley, Noordhoek Village and the Red Herring. We enjoyed visits from the dogs and Maryanne was a lovely host who spoiled us with extra goodies- welcome bottle of wine, choccies, snacks. A perfect weekend away for Capetonians. It felt like a holiday.
The flat is smaller than the photos indicated and the sleeper couch in the write up was an ordinary, but very comfortable couch. Everything else made up for it and it did not detract from a very special weekend break.

Eveything was wonderful. The accommodation was beautiful, the view was outstanding and the hospitality was fantastic. The little extra touches such as croissants and chocolates really made The Lookout special.
