Breakfast room table legs were broken, we were worried the glass top might collapse. One shower had very low water flow rate, but there are plenty of others.

Privacy

Location is perfect. If you're there for a family getaway or to for the nightlife the location is no problem. No issues whatsoever with the house itself or the location. Great backyard for the cook out!

This home was great for our group of 3 couples and 2 small kids. Lovely back yard and patio dining area, and serviceable kitchen for simple meals. The beds were comfortable, all 4 bedrooms offered plenty of privacy and space. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms and plenty of pillows. The neighborhood was safe, and very quiet and homey but still just a few minutes drive (or very cheap Uber) to the malecon and all the shops, restaurants and bars downtown, with easy access to the highway for wine country day trips. The host was easy-going and responsive, and flexible about our schedule. Check in/out was simple, I called to say we were arriving and got instructions on where to pick up a key, the same in reverse for check out, just put the key back and texted to say we were leaving.

We did encounter a few small oddities, including a surprising amount of food in the fridge and pantry that seemed not be intended for guest use and a separate formal dining/sitting area that appeared off limits and is not featured in the property photos (the more casual living/dining areas were plenty of space, though). There were no directions that we could find about Wifi access, how/if to use the alarm, house rules, etc--the usual rundown in a vacation rental. We did text with a question or two and got helpful replies, but we didn't want to be too bothersome so we just guessed a lot.
