This is a five star house with just a few added things.
Given the street the house was on was hit pretty hard with Irma we expected worse condonditions.
The Master bedroom is huge along with the master bath
The other rooms are all large
The kitchen was great with everything we needed
Things we would have liked to have
More outdoor patio furniture on the roof, on the extra patio upstairs and on ground level.
Again post hurricane we expected this.
Our only complaint was the living room seating was rather uncomfortable. We were stuck in the house for a few days because of bad weather so more comfortable couch would have been nice.
The water front docking gets shallow on low tide but our 33’ Hydrasports fit well on it.
This is a great value for your money we would have spent 800 per night in hotels and not been able to cook meals
Parking is ample

We had several issues with this house...some of the storm shutters were still up blocking a couple of windows and a double door entryway onto one of the patios. We stayed there 2 months after hurricane Irma. When I called Maggie to see if someone could take them down I was told ‘there’s nothing really to see out that way anyways’ and that she was out of town until Monday but would check with me then to see if I still wanted them down. I did, but I never heard from her the remainder of our stay (a week). The listing states sleeps 12, but there are only beds for 8. So it does sleep 12, if 4 of your group want to sleep on an air mattress in the middle of the living room. There was no hot tub, no pool table, no bikes, the zodiac was deflated and dirty, there was boat on the side of the house that was covered in debris and old trash. There were two grills both of which were disgusting-one so bad we didn’t even bother trying to clean it. We also noticed halfway through the trip that none of the smoke alarms were hooked up-they were all in a drawer in the kitchen. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. Tables on the patios which would have been really nice except there were no chairs to go with the tables. There were broken tiles all over the outside patios, broken glass everywhere in the rocks in the yard. And not just random prices of glass, PILES OF GLASS. There is a neighborhood beach, however it’s not in the neighborhood, it’s across us 1 and down a side road. I also emailed Maggie about our concerns and never heard back from her. We did have a good time because luckily we brought our own entertainment and have friends who live nearby. The house has great potential but definitely fell short. Disappointing to say the least.

The house sits at the end of a canal where, for reasons I couldn't understand, the water is gross, murky, and stinks. As you head out the canal toward the ocean, the water clears up, but it put a damper on the property as a whole.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this spacious, well situated home. The house is equipped with all the basics and Maggie was so easy and gracious to work with- she even surprised us and dropped by some bikes for our use! There is so much outdoor space (on three levels!) that makes this an ideal location if you are hosting an outside event. It's a quiet street and although we didn't have time to utilize the canal behind the house, we did manage to find a few minutes to swing in the hammock and and we certainly enjoyed the bikes. The location was ideal for us- from close-by beaches to easy day trips down the Keys. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy the house longer! When next we vacation in Key Largo, we will certainly try to re-book!

The house was better than advertised and in a fantastic location with great dock space. The beds were super comfortable and the beautiful kitchen was fully stocked along with extra towels and linens for every room. Maggie was super helpful in planning our trip and making things as convenient as possible. This is probably one of the best deals around and we hope to stay here again very soon!

We came down for a wedding, perfect for our 4 couples. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was super! The rooftop deck was perfect for some of our first time visitors to the keys. Plenty of parking and lots of space to hang out. Definitely worked out for our all adult group, no one had to sleep on twin bunkbeds which was a huge selling point for us. Thanks Maggie for keeping in contact before, during and after our stay.

Our 12yr old GirlScouts stayed at this beautiful home in Key Largo. Our girls had the most wonderful time swinging in the kayak, making homemade coconut smoothies from a nearby tree and enjoying the three, or is it four?, floors is this conveniently located home. The accompanying moms enjoyed dinners outside with a glass of wine to soak it in. We were minutes from the the world class snorkeling of John Pennekamp State Park and just across the street from the Wild Bird Sanctuary which gave us the most amazing view of the gulf coast sun set. The owner was very accommodating and the communication was wonderful. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Easy Living in the Keys
We rented this house for a girls trip - there were 11 of us. It is in a good location, easy to find, plenty of parking at the house. The house has 4 bedrooms and has 2 air mattresses. The only complaint is the mattress in one of the guest rooms you could feel the springs coming up so luckily there was an extra air mattress to use. The house was clean and had plenty of supplies. The canal is not a swimming canal, which we knew going into it. We drove by the beach access, but it didn't look appealing. The owner was very responsive and easy to rent from.

Had a great time in Keys
We were a group of 12 for a family get together at this great place. Owner Maggie is very gracious and accommodating. The house is nicely decorated, clean and convenient to all the activities. It is a good place to relax even if you just want to hang out by the house.
Maggie suggested good places to eat and the grocery store is close by, about 4 miles.
It was very windy and the sea weeds were blown in the channel behind the house therefore we could not use the kayaks.
Overall it is a nice place for a get together of large families.

Great 5 night stay!!!
Maggie was very helpful and attentive before, during and after our stay! I would highly recommend staying at this property. The house is very clean, spacious and even stocked with all the little things you tend to forget when going on travel. Can't thank you enough Maggie. Look forward to our return visit soon!

Great ocean access location! Best owner!
What can I say-love this place!! We have stay here four times and it does not disappoint. It's great for families, friends, and lots of memories!! Immaculate clean and the design is great for R&R. Maggie is the most gracious hostess ever. She thinks of everything you need to make your stay comfortable and inviting. The house is located in the perfect area-close to John Pennekamp for diving/snorkeling, and close to Islamorada for some sport fishing! The local restaurants are delicious and the house is spacious. It's a great spot to get away and enjoy yourself. the owner, Maggie, is a local, so if you ever need advice or questions she can be there in a jiffy. We call it our home away from home. The kids never want to leave and are always in a huge hurry to get back. Thanks for always making our vacations unforgettable.
