About this villa rental

Nestled in Willemstad, this charming villa for $433 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Villa Piscadera with large private pool is located at the Piscadera Bay Resort, a very well know park on one of the most beautiful spots on the island with both holiday homes and permanently occupied houses. You stay in a tropical oasis of green among palm trees, oleander, bougainvillea, banana plants and singing birds. Children can play freely, not only in our garden but also in the streets, the resort has a speed limit of 15 km per hour for cars. There is 24/7 security. The house is situated on a plot of 1000m2 and is surrounded by tropical vegetation. The living room and the large terrace flow seamlessly into each other through 2 huge sliding doors on two sides. At the swimming pool of 11x4 mtr there are several seating areas, 4 sunbeds and a large lounge area. At any time of the day you can find a spot with shade, or with sun, the choice is yours! The outdoor dining area on the covered terrace offers space for 8 people and of course the BBQ is not missing. The living room (8x8) has a cozy sitting area, ceiling fans for extra cooling and a television with internet TV, giving you access to hundreds of TV channels, including all Dutch and most European channels and American sports and media channels. The kitchen in a corner of the living room has a cooking island with bar, so you can sit comfortably while cooking is taking place. The kitchen is equipped with an American fridge with freezer and ice maker, dishwasher, oven/microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and a large amount of crockery and kitchen utensils. In the utility room you will find the washing machine and large cooler for the beach. There are also some children's toys, many board games, high chair and cot available. The master bedroom has patio doors to the terrace and an en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are also of good size and share the other bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a workplace. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have mosquito nets on the windows. The resort is located 3-5 minutes walk from three beautiful beaches and is just behind Marriott and Dreams Hotels (formerly Hilton and Floris Suite Hotel), with casino, diving school, bars and restaurants. Behind the WTC is the Koredor as this boardwalk is called, with a walking and jogging trail along the ocean. Our guests have free access to Pirates Bay Restaurant and Beach Club, which is a 4-minute walk away from the resort. You get the right tropical island feeling here: a lovely sandy beach with palm trees, gently sloping into the sea, a very child-friendly restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a cozy bar with happy hours and regular live music. Pizzeria Tomatoes is located next to it, right near the sea, as well as the now famous Restaurant De Visserij. On this beach you will also find a PADI dive school. The driving time to Willemstad is only 5 minutes and due to the central location on the island, both the popular beaches on the east side as well as the more authentic and beautiful beaches on the west side are very easily and quickly accessible. Also within 5 minutes driving time are 2 large supermarkets and Sambil Mall with numerous shops, cinema, large modern gym, food court, bowling alley and an indoor playground. Travel time to and from the airport is only 10-15 min. Our host will welcome you on arrival at the villa and will be available during your entire stay for all questions, tips and assistance. The rent is: INCLUSIVE • Bed linen and bath/kitchen towels, beach towels • Wireless Internet EXCLUSIVE *7% government tourist tax *Cleaning costs after check-out US$ 120 *water and electricity *Full extra cleaning at own request US$100 per cleaning, for bookings of more than 14 nights an extra cleaning halfway during your stay is mandatory DEPOSIT US$400,- We kindly request you to pay this in cash to our host. She will welcome you at check-in and will show you around in the villa. At check-out she will settle the water and electricity costs (local cost price) and any damage if there might be, with the deposit, the rest you will get back in cash.

Our experience was nothing but fantastic! The home was just as it was described in the listing. The pool was a perfect way to end a long day at the beach. The location was great and the house was fully equipped. If you are worried about traveling with small children, this is where you want to stay. To get in and out of the property you have to go through the guard shack. It is a very secure property in a great location.

This property met all of our expectations!

The villa is well designed to enjoy the island breeze outdoors and pool. The landscape is beautiful and offers privacy from neighbors and the street. We enjoyed the convenience of nearby amenities including the walk to the beach or passes at the Marriott or Dreams resorts. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. We have family in Curacao and this was the perfect location for us to gather for brunch And BBQ. We will return!!

Villa Piscadera is fantastic vacation home. The photos on homeaway are up to date. The layout of the house is great for indoor/outdoor living. The pool and teak deck is awesome. You can open the entire glass front to the dining table and pool. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill is new. The house was cleaned very well when we arrived. The location of the home is great, it is just 5 minutes to a large grocery store and a short drive to the town. Overall the villa is a perfect destination for your vacation. Just be aware of the additional fees. The third bedroom costs extra, no matter how many people stay at the house. Beach Towels are not included in the rental which is a little odd. The listing on homeway said that the tax is included and lists the tax also on the order confirmation. However it is not calculated in the total that you pay. So you have to pay the tax onsite. When you compare prices on homeaway, keep in mind that the actual cost is 7% higher then listed due to the tax. Took us a while to figure that out and some back and forth with the owner. Other than that the house is really great and I can highly recommend it.
