Apartment Macdonald is spacious 77 sq m and tastefully furnished third floor apartment just 1 km or a 10 min walk through the back streets to Trogir, the delightful UNESCO World Heritage town with its many restaurants, bars and shops. With the nearest beach just 200m away this apartment is deal for those wanting to enjoy the most of a holiday on Ciovo island - sun and sea and the ambiance and amenities of this ancient and exquisite Medieval walled city. The apartment has a airy and spacious open plan living dining kitchen room that opens onto a balcony that has a stunning sea views. It has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room and a sofa bed in the living room so can accommodate up to 6 persons. It has a large bathroom plus separate WC. The apartment has free WiFi/Internet connection. There is a private parking lot for all apartments in the block. The apartment is on the third floor. The nearest grocery shop is 200m from the apartment. Means of access: Getting there is easy by car or by flying. Split airport is 6km away and access to the island is by bridge. Please note that local roads become congested during the high season. Directions to the apartment: You will check in at the office of Dalmatian Property Management in Trogir. We will supply you with photo directions how to get to the apartment. And will give you information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help. Other Things to note Please note you will need to pay in cash on arrival cca 1,50 Euro per person per day tourist tax. Late arrival and Sunday check in fees apply. You will also need to leave a 20 Euro cash deposit on arrival for the key. You will get this back when you return the key on departure. Wir lieben diesen Ort!
Schon zu zweiten Mal haben wir die Zeit in diesem Apartment genossen. Dort gibt es alles was wir brauchen. Für uns 5 Personen viel Platz. Mit Charme und Liebe zum Detail. Das Beste ist der Balkon mit dem sagenhaften Ausblick. Die Mitarbeiter von der Agentur sehr zuvorkommend und unkompliziert. Die Nachbarn grüßen freundlich. Die Umgebung/Trogir ist sowieso ein Schmuckstück!!!

Ein ganz besonderer Ort
Wir waren im August 2020 in Trogir. An der Unterkunft gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und noch mehr. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und sauber und der Parkplatz für das Auto direkt vor der Tür. Wir sind mit dem Auto zum nächsten Strand gefahren, weil wir Sonnenschirme, Liegen usw. dann nicht tragen mussten und zu Fuß ist es schon ein Stückchen zu der Hüpfburg im Meer, die unsere Jungs so lieben. Die Stadt Trogir ist traumhaft, die Leute freundlich, die "drinks" und das Essen hervorragend. Die Kommunikation mit der Agenturmitarbeiterin wirklich hervorragend und sehr persönlich. Wir wollen da unbedingt wieder hin und hoffen, dass die engen Straßen und die Flugzeuge, die wir kaum wahr nahmen andere davon abhalten, damit wir demnächst wieder problemlos buchen können.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit allem was man braucht
Wir haben uns von Anfang bis zum Ende des Urlaubs sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden sehr gut betreut. Vor dem Urlaubs antritt sowie auch bei der Ankunft. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön gelegen. Sie ist sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Man hat einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt am Objekt. Zum Zentrum braucht man ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Um an den Strand (Steinstrand) zu kommen braucht man ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Man sollte wissen das es üblich ist in Kroatien das es überwiegend nur Steinstrände gibt. Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt es auch ein kleines Geschäft wo man fast alles bekommt was man braucht.Wir können eigentlich nichts negatives sagen über die Wohnung oder der Lage.

Geräumig und schöner Blick vom Balkon
Die Wohnung ist geräumig und der Blick auf das Meer fantastisch. Bei Bezug war sie nicht sauber und mehrere Geräte nicht funktionsfähig. Neben dem Straßen- und Fluglärm hat insbesondere der Lärm der ungefähr 500 Meter (Luftlinie) entfernten Werft erheblich gestört. Teilweise wurde auch nachts gearbeitet, sodass wir nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen konnten. Das WLAN war tageweise zu langsam und daher nicht brauchbar.

Alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden
Geräumige Wohnung ohne Schwächen, allerdings waren wir nur mit 2 Personen vor Ort. Mit 4 Personen wird es zum Früstück eng auf dem Balkon.
Bemängeln könnte man höchstens, dass der Fussweg nach Trogir zumindest teilweise über die Strasse ohne Gehsteig führt.
In der Strasse hinter der Agentur haben wir aber nahe zum Centrum von Trogir immer einen Parkplatz gefunden und konnten so zu Fuss in die Stadt und auch den gebührenpflichtigen Parkplatz vermeiden..

Toller Ausblick, schöne Wohnung
Gut eingerichtete, schöne Wohnung mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Einziges Manko: liegt im Einflugbereich des Flughafens Split, ab und zu also Flugzeuge zu sehen, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

Fin leilighet, men du må ha gode bein å gå på
Leiligheten var i stille og rolige omgivelser. Ren og fin. Utsikten var ok. Er litt mer uryddig en den som bildet viser. Men bra nok.
Du må ha gode bein å gå på. ca 15 min å gå til Okrug. Strand. Matbutikk ca 10 min. Trogir ca 15 min. Mye oppover og nedover mot Trogir.
Men det var en hyggelig plass. Trafikken langs veien var litt skremmende. Måtte gå mye langs vegen for å komme til badested. Anbefales ikke for familier med små barn eller eldre. Ellers et veldig trivelig sted å være.

Wunderbarer 180-Grad-Ausblick und geräumiges Appartment
Ausblick und Qualität der Unterkunft lassen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wenn man gut zu Fuss ist und einem die Steigungen nichts ausmachen, ist man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss im nächsten Markt oder in Trogir. Alternativ gibt es vom Stand aus ein Taxi-Boot nach Trogir, das regelmässig verkehrt. Auch zum Steinstrand sowie Kieselstrand ist es nicht weit. Noch in erträglicher Entfernung zum Laufen ist der Copacobana-Strand gelegen.
Dass man teilweise an der Strasse mit zeitweise viel Verkehr entlanglaufen muss, scheint wohl ortsüblich und für alle tolerierbar zu sein.
Die Unterkunft schien sehr neu oder war vor Kurzem renoviert worden. Sie war sehr sauber und sehr geräumig. Auch an der Ausstattung gab es nichts zu mäkeln, einmal wäre eine Mikrowelle hilfreich gewesen.
Einziges, wenn auch geringes Manko ist, dass jeden Morgen die Müllabfuhr unten an der Strasse rumlärmt, dort stehen 4 Müllcontainer für das ganze Viertel. Allerdings hat man deswegen auch keinen weiten Weg, um seinen Müll wegzubringen.

Stor leilighet med god plassering i forhold til strand.
Leiligheten ligger ca. 13 minutters gange fra gamlebyen. Det er god utsikt, og stranden går man til på under 10 minutter. Godt utstyrt kjøkken med hvitevarer. Vaskemaskin på badet. Aircondition i stue. Bredbånd fungerte bra de første dagene, men ble nesten ubrukelig etter hvert.
Det er ikke heis i bygget og leiligheten ligger i 3. etg.

I think we spend most of our time on those view meters. The old city of Trogir and the bigger beach where we were swimming is only a 15 minutes walk. We would recommend restaurant Lučica. That's just down the hill before the harbor on the island Ciovo on the mean road. Very good food and kind excellent service. We enjoyed our holiday on this island and in this apartment.

The plus point is a panoramic view of the bay from the balcony.
It is located just outside of Trogir old town, around a 10-15 minute walk, and whilst not a negative for us, to be aware it is a bit hilly coming back, but that's what gives you the views.
Going the other way, it is a short walk to a small shingle beach area and supermarket, and 10 mins further to the larger Okrug Gonjii beach area that has many cafe's and restaurants and water activities.
Trogir old town has everything you could want in terms of bars and restaurants and green spaces.
Sandra at Dalmatian Property Management was helpful and quick to reply when we booked and also recommended and arranged the local taxi driver for the transfers.

Just got back from a lovely time in this apartment. The view is great and it is very spacious and clean and comfortable. In fact the photos don't do it justice.
It's very handy for Trogir, a 15 minute walk, where there are great places to eat and drink. Skrapa was our favourite, cheap and cheerful and you get to hang out with the local stray kittens if you sit outside!
The nearest beach is about 5 mins walk, you can see it from the balcony its small and there is a nice bar/cafe there. Okrug Gonjii is the next beach about a further 10 mins walk around the corner, this is longer with sunbeds to hire more bars etc. The sea is beautful and crystal clear. Although in October the water was a bit chilly. Things were winding down when we visited, which I have to say was quite nice.
There is information, maps etc at the apartment, also a library of books to borrow. It's very well equipt. There's a supermarket down the road near the beach. The kitchens great, showers great and it's quiet at night. Most of the apartments seem to belong to local people.
It isn't far from the airport, the people who dealt with our booking were polite and helpful and everything went very smoothly. We had a great time and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ciovo.

Stunning views, beautiful clean modern apartment was perfect for our family. We needed the air conditioning too as it was lovely and warm during our visit. We loved the sun, laying by the sea, swimming in the clear water. The beaches are not sandy but still enjoyable. Trojir is a lovely old town, very good restaurants. We had our car so we could explore Split and one of the Islands by ferry. Parking in Trojir could be a pain, so it was easier to walk into town to explore, shop and enjoy the night life. We would definitely recommend the apartment and hope to go again.
