Welcome to Sounds Good by KEES Vacations! Sounds Good is a 3-bedroom home in Kill Devil Hills and is the perfect location for all OBX adventures. A gorgeous 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath, beach home located near many shops and restaurants, this vacation property boasts comfy furnishings, stainless steel appliances, and classic, modern decor. The great room features a dark leather sofa, loveseat, and chair with an ottoman. A reading nook at the front of the third level completes this space. The beautiful wooden dining table seats 6. The stylish kitchen features beautiful dark wooden cabinets and stainless-steel appliances. Relax in the Queen En Suite, with accent lighting, flat screen TV, and access out to the balcony. The second bedroom also features a Queen bed with access to the balcony, a flat screen TV, and a common hallway bathroom shared with the third bedroom. The third bedroom features a queen bed and flat screen TV. You will also find the wash and dryer to be located inside of a hall closet on this level. Sounds Good also features an outdoor shower, private charcoal grill, first level outdoor entertaining space, and is located just 0.6 miles to the beach access. Enjoy an exquisite beach vacation at Sound Good! This property has 3 parking spots for guests. Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time. Check-Out is 10am. Our stay was AWESOME. House was clean, a fresh of clean air (the place we originally booked was horrible in every way possible). We were up all night looking for a place to stay and came across Sounds Good. We all loved it and would definitely stay again. We bought some pails and shovels for the beach and left them in the outside shower area for the next family. Basically, we loved the house and the area and would rent again.

We had a great time at the outer banks. The house was great, the only thing was the air conditioner was a little loud in the living room.

I ask for a buzzing sound be fix coming from the vent underneath the couch. I had some friends that were sleeping on one of the sofa and the noise kept them up. There were no trash bag, dish washer soup, the tub was dirty, the tub water was backing up so you felt like you were in a spa(clogged).

Overall our stay was ok. Check-in process was easy and fairly decent location. However, upon arrival there were several things that were not clean or working as well as they should. We had bags of trash/dirty laundry on in front of the door, the second full baths shower did not drain properly, and there was blood on one of the pillows in the master. When I tried to call or text it was after hours and then it took two days for a response and when someone did show up, they did not call before hand like I was told they would, nor did she fix the shower.

Everything was great. The jets in the tub need cleaned . There is mold in them so we did not use it. Also could ave used a skillet big enough to cook for 5 to 6 people. Bought another and cooked in shifts. Other than that it was great.

This was our 2nd stay in 6 months at the Sounds Good property. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will likely return once again! Wonderful home and location!

Floors could have been cleaner, the 2 year old we had with us stepped on a glucose needle the first few hours we arrived. There was not a comforter on the bed in one of the bedroom, the drawer in kitchen was broken and was not fixed while we were there. The kitchen sink leaked the last night we were there. Beds were ok, but a better mattress would have been nice to sleep better while on vacation. Not sure we would stay again considering we had to walk further once we got to the beach due to the exposed pipe line, that was so unexpected.

First of all, I suppose this house was for someone much younger then myself and husband. My son wasn't real happy with the beds. We weren't also. The table and chairs in the living/eating area where much too high. Was like sitting on a bar stool with table to match. The couches and chairs were extremely difficult to get out of. Much too soft. I would stay in the area again, just with maybe a different company.

The home is in a nice location on the OBX bay side — there is a great running path and it is close to a public pier. However, being on the bay side and not close to a cross walk meant we had to drive to the beach, which is a minor inconvenience. The house is spacious and well equipped. One recommendation for the property manager is to do a through cleaning and walk through prior to the arrival of your next guests. We were disappointed to find dirty cups, mugs, plates and cutlery in the kitchen cupboards and had to wash them all before using. Despite that minor bump in our stay, we had a terrific time in OBX.

Excellent location
The house was spacious, comfortable, clean and attractive. It was close to restaurants, souvenir shops, the beach and grocery stores. There were no problems during our time there. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay
This house was in a nice location and the neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed for making our meals, and the deck was nice for our morning coffee.

Lovely
Our family of 6 truly enjoyed our stay here. Housekeeping could have done a little better either cleanliness but it wasn't bad. The home is just as pictured and described. We had plenty of room for gathering together or spreading out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and home
Had a blast in obx! This home was stunning and clean, conveniently located near lots of stores & activities soundside and not far from oceanside, short walks to beautiful views and beaches. Spacious rooms, nice decks and ammenities; I'm dying to find out where the owners got these gorgeous seashell napkin rings we saw in drawer 😆 had a blast overall, thanks for memories.

I enjoyed the environment and neighborhood. I dint like house keeping. Had to was the linens upon arrival. There was hair and stains on the sheets, Yuck! The place just wasn't cleaned very well.

There were a couple issues when we checked in but I contacted property mgmt and they corrected issues the next day. TVs in every room was a plus but need to have instructions on how to operate and what channels and apps are available. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

The property was near l everything! The outside could have been a more maintained. The dryer broke on the last day of our stay and force us to use the laundromat but other than that is was very reasonable for the price!

Just a couple hiccups
Overall, this was a great place to stay! Clean (though all the carpets were still damp on arrival - I assume from steam-cleaning?), nice quiet neighborhood, etc. My only issues were: 1) I get a phone call an hour before a new refrigerator is brought to the home by gentlemen working for the management company (granted, I missed the call and had no idea until the workers arrived). Not sure what would’ve happened if we’d been out and about already? And 2) granted, I got a call well in advance (3 days) regarding an HVAC service call, but no window as to when they’d arrive that day, and again - not sure what would’ve happened if we’d been gone?
In the end, there was minimal inconvenience, but it would be best if service calls were done when the place isn’t being rented out.
But it was clean, well-stocked, and convenient for the beach!
