It’s situated on a quiet farm, not far from Piggly Wiggly. On the whole it’s clean. The hostess was very friendly. There’s a communal area with TV, refrigerator, microwave, a simple kitchen.

We had a power shortage, it’s a South Africa problem. But the hostess was eager enough to find out the reason.

The bedroom was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and well tiled. The living area and kitchen was seperate from the sleeping area and had comfortable chairs outside on the patio and inside the lounge. My dog was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed running around. The owner kindly left milk, butter and eggs in the fridge.

The kitchen needs some work as it is very rustic but it was perfectly serviceable and I was able to make breakfast. It is hard to find because Google Maps took us to a rural area but we found it eventually. Anybody staying there should phone the owner in advance to get directions.

Rooms were acceptably clean.

There was no Eskom electricity in the rooms. No coffee facilities in the rooms as there are no plug points at all which is not clearly explained in the ad. Only lights on a battery which went flat after a couple of hours then we had no lights at all. The rooms were VERY close to a railway line & trains ran all night so VERY noisy & we could not sleep. We were also told there was a security guard patrolling who we never saw which was very concerning as there is no other security at this venue.

It was lovely to have all that space to ourselves. The horses were so friendly. Waking to the view of the arena and horses. Entertainment area was spacious. Decor was fun and different. Hosts were fabulous. What a gorgeous little place.

A comfortable stay on a farm in rustic rooms. Bed exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated

The actual facility was very nice

Nothing to light the fire and it was freezing. It said breakfast on request but no one to make breakfast. It also said we could make our own breakfast but none of the cooking utensils worked and there was no gas stove

We loved that we were surrounded by nature & animals.

The trains going passed through the night & it would be nice to have a fan for the hot evenings.

Pros - large family rooms with plenty of space - friendly and very helpful staff - peaceful with plenty space for the kids to run around - lots of activities on site for the kids - lots of animals to see - great location, 5 minutes away from piggly wiggly
