Yokoso was the perfect place to stay for a short work break. Perfect proximity to beautiful beaches & cafes & the cute Sawtell village with Coffs central & Toormina shops a short drive away. Close to airport too. The property was spotless & I loved the minimal architectural style. I scoured the internet looking for a place to stay that wasn’t the typical beach shack ‘tacky’ style and I was thoroughly rewarded by Yokoso & Michelle’s hospitality.

As soon as we arrived at Yokoso we were impressed. Tucked away in a quiet street, surrounded by beautiful gardens and private off street parking. Inside was amazing, beautifully designed, clean, spacious and bright and Michele has thought of everything you need for a stay here whether it be overnight or longer. The bedroom is in the beautiful bright and airy loft which has a view of the ocean, there are a couple of peaceful outdoor areas to sit and have a coffee and watch the local bird life close up, and it is a quick 5 min walk to the beach or 10 min walk to town. The check in/ out process was easy and Michele checked in with us a couple of times via phone call and text to see if everything was ok and also to recommend some local eating places which we appreciated. Thank you Michele, your place is absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend and we will be sure to stay here again when we visit Sawtell.

A wonderful, spacious, airy and spotless studio. Everything you could need is there, superb comfy bed, parking space, honestly, you could not ask for more. Also, 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 to the town. Perfectly situated. Sawtell is just adorable. Michele and Stephen are the perfect hosts, too. We will be back!

This is one of the loveliest self-contained properties that we have stayed. Light, airy, sea views, rainforest views, and a overall feeling of calm and serenity. I loved utilising the eclectic range of cookware, though everything I needed was at hand. The bedroom area is light and spacious with a super comfortable bed. Private outside spaces to enjoy, and somewhere to park our e-bikes. Good access to Sawtell township, coastal walks, and bike paths to Coffs. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are frontline healthcare workers who wanted to have our first holiday in over 2 years. We booked this property for 2 nights, but local flooding blocked the roads so we got stranded and could not reach the place until late on the second day. As the studio was empty the next day, the owner did offer to let us stay on for one night. After explaining we could not take up her offer because we had to return to work, she refused us any refund or even a credit and quoted Stayz cancellation policy to us.

The studio was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Very easy to find and close to everything for a good break in Sawtell. If I have to be picky, the bed can perhaps do with a new mattress and the floor mat in the lounge should have a underlay. Nonetheless, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to go back soon!

This property is immaculately presented in a fantastic location, just a quick drive or walk away from the main strip of Sawtell. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and the loft studio had absolutely everything we needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, lounge is comfy and there’s movies if you want to have a night in, the bathroom has all your basic toiletries provided, and the bedroom is super comfortable with a full wardrobe. Michele is a wonderful host who was available if we needed her and we will definitely be returning if and when we come back to Sawtell!

My wife and I stent 1 week here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was a wonderful week. Our hosts were great, being available as required without being intrusive. The property was delightful. Despite having no oven I was able to cook healthy meals for us throughout our stay. The kitchenette was efficient and filled with appliances that aided in this process. The loft bedroom was very comfortable. Both of us remarked on several occasions about how well we slept each night. Our hosts were quite concerned that the bed might be uncomfortable and stated that they were picking up a new mattress this week. We found the bed to be fine as it was. My wife loved the walk in robe that allowed us to unpack and not live out of a suitcase all week. The lounge area was spacious and comfortable. Sawtell was a quaint little town, and our accommodation was within walking distance to both the village and the beach. The village had a wide array of shops and eateries available.
