Spacious mountain home
About this house rental
Spacious home and a relaxing mountain retreat. This quiet, serene home is only 2 minutes to Hwy 285 and centrally located from Denver to your favorite mountain playground. Great local restaurants to choose from and grocery stores only 10 minutes away. Our beautiful home offers you privacy, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The office has a sofa bed with a half bath next to it so you can use it as an optional bedroom. The Large wrap around deck allows you to comfortably enjoy the wildlife. Deer love our property. We have a young buck that makes his bed under our deck. Beyond the grove of pines is a meadow with a seasonal stream that our property backs up to. Each room is expansive and can easily accommodate extra air mattresses for additional people per room. The large kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. We provide complimentary tea and coffee. Our hope is that you will feel like this is your own private mountain paradise. Nearby Locations: Various wedding venues; about a 5 min drive to Mountain View Ranch and Lower Lake Ranch, 10 min drive to Deer Creek Valley Ranch, and 15 min to Red Barn in Evergreen. Some nearby Ski resorts are about 20-30 min drive to Winterpark and Breckenridge. Update: We upgraded the bedding with a total of 2 king size beds, 4 queens, and 2 fulls. We have also added a baby crib and an additional TV in the master bedroom. Notice: We have one security camera in front of the garage, one at the entrance, and one on the back patio. They will be on during your stay.

We had a beautiful stay in this home. It was spacious, clean and great location. Mai was a great host and even checked on us when the weather got bad! We enjoyed our stay

Our family stayed here for my daughters wedding in Pine. It was very convenient and exactly what we needed to spread out. Mai was a wonderful host and quick to respond to all of our questions.

Nice place, as expected but far from main road. Driving was scarey but scenic

My wife and I and about a dozen other members of our family enjoyed our three night stay at Mai's Pine, Colorado home. This was extended family who mostly flew into Denver and drove up to enjoy the fall trees turning colors just in time for our daughter's wedding in Conifer the first weekend in October 2023! We were all very comfortable in our bedrooms which mostly had their own bathroom. The kitchen and breakfast nook worked out very well for the sixteen or so of us especially at breakfast time and then again for dinner. Lots of great conversations took place in these two areas as well as the large family room or even outside on the back deck. The three car garage worked very well for parking several cars as we all came and left with ease. Because of its close vicinity to the church and wedding venue, everyone who stayed with us had a very fun and memorable time. This was one for the books. Thanks again Mai! Hope we can come back soon!

Beautiful location, spacious home, poorly maintained. Kitchen could use a deep clean.

Our group really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was spacious with a beautiful backyard. Everything was clean and organized upon arrival, and the owner periodically checked in to see if she can assist us in anyway

This was the perfect home for our family of 8 adults and 3 children. Plenty of bedroom space and plenty of living space. The best part was simply enjoying each other's company in the comfort of the home! The kids loved the entry way waterfall.
Plenty of storage for groceries, including an extra refrigerator and freezer, and the kitchen is very well stocked.
When the weather cleared, we able to enjoy the very large deck as well.
Mai is an excellent host. She is communicative, gracious and accommodating.
This is the perfect home, in a beautiful setting, for a large group. You will never run out of room.

Mai was very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. House was stocked with all kitchen essentials but missing salt & pepper which I never thought about bringing.
House was large enough for all our family to be together for a family reunion.
Thank you for helping to make our get together a success

Great home for our large group - a family wedding weekend!! Enjoyed our stay at the property. The property owner, Mai, is a great communicator. She was in Asia during our stay but was very prompt in answering texts. I would recommend this home for a large group!! 7 BR's and 7 private baths!

Nice spacious cabin with plenty of Real Beds for a quality sleep. Easy location to find and close enough to grocery etc. Communication were great with Host to address needs and issues.

Our group had a wonderful time staying at Mai's house. The house was very large and well-stocked to cook for a large group. The house was very comfortable and check-in/ check-out was very easy. We enjoyed several nice hikes within 15 minutes of the house and felt like a relaxing snowy getaway from Denver despite the short drive from the city!

We had three different families at the house and it worked so well. Bedrooms on all three floors allowed both personal space and togetherness. The kitchen was large and well stocked.
The owner had cleared the foot of snow that just proceeded our arrival. All was as promised and current inquiries were responded to quickly and in full.
We look forward to visiting again when the weather will allow us to enjoy the huge deck space. The location of the property was close to main roads but off-road enough to allow privacy.

From the start we had great communication with Mai, the pictures don't do the house justice, excellent location for our reunion and wedding party. Each bedroom was clean, comfortable and most had nice views of the wooded lot. The kitchen was open with everything we needed to feed 12 every meal, 2nd fridge in pantry was so great. Thanks Mai, we'd definitely stay when again on a return to the Denver area.

Beautiful home. Bedroom to bathroom setup is great for a big group of folks. Extra large kitchen and living room, great for socializing. The kids said they loved staying in a "mansion". Close proximity to Mountain View Ranch.

Great experience. House is great for family get - togethers. Had great deck areas.

I chose this property because of the space and the distance from my wedding venue. Being able to have the whole family in one place was so wonderful. The check in and check out process was seamless. The pictures did not do the place justice, everything was wonderful. I would definitely love to and plan on coming back with my family for a peaceful break from the city.

Sons wedding trip
Our sons wedding was in Morrison and rehearsal dinner was in Bailey. Chose due to excellent location. Plenty of room for all of us. Groomsmen dressed at our house and it accommodated their needs perfectly. Hosts were very thoughtful, even called one night to make certain we were warm enough. We did not use the kitchen but it would have been adequate. So quiet that my daughter in law commented she could hear the birds in the morning.

The host was very concerned about our comfort and satisfaction. She responded very quickly to questions.

Great layout and facility. Very helpful and pleasant owner/agent who was easy to contact and always helpful. Only negatives were the lack of a hot tub which was mentioned in the listing and the house could have been cleaner. Superficially, everything is OK but it could really use a deep cleaning and a bit of refreshing. Overall, we had 17 people of all ages and had a great time. The location is beautiful and private yet close enough to stores, pubs, restaurants, etc. to be convenient.

Wonderfully Large Mountain Retreat Home
Overall very happy with this property. Lots of space and rooms for large family to gather and enjoy one another without feeling cramped! Lots of extras available in kitchen. Nice large kitchen appliances and I loved that there were two coffee pots and lots of dining seating.
Most beds were comfortable....we had a few that were a little stiff. Bedding was a little dated, but practical. Plenty of extra towels (again dated) and nice washer and dryer available if needed. Noticed that there are a few repairs that are needed in the future to make the home safer (loose deck rails for example).
We had an amazing family gathering at this property and are very happy we stayed here.

Great location
Right off highway 285, the house was a great location for my wedding guests to stay.

This was a well appointed house perfect for our gathering of families in town for a wedding. We had four generations and six couples gathered for meals and sleeping.
It was a great location with a nice kitchen with a huge island to set up buffets along with plenty of seating for family meals.
There was lots of room to spread out if you wanted privacy, between the lower level, the main floor family room, living room, dining room and decks on the main and upper level, there was plenty of room for card playing, legos and games with the children and spots to read or catch up on work.
We were busy with wedding activities but enjoyed gathering for breakfasts and lunches. Thank you Mae for offering your lovely home.

Wedding Celebration
We had a wonderful weekend in Pine for a wedding celebration that had been delayed for a year because of COVID. The house on Nova Rd was perfect for us-- a group of 8--wonderful setting, spacious, comfortable. Mai is a great host-- communication was excellent-- and when one of us mistakenly left a pot behind she was super helpful in terms of retrieval!! I highly recommend this house for a big group wanting a nice time in the mountains.

Amazing Owners. Had the rental, COVID hit, rental moved to a year later, amazing communication, terrific house, couldn't have asked for more. Mai was amazing to work with! Her house was the perfect location near my son's wedding venue. The house was spacious and inviting. We also hiked Staunton State Park which was right around the corner. House is easy to get to and had everything we needed. We even had a visit from some local deer. Highly recommend!!!!!

We had a fantastic time staying at the house for our wedding weekend. We had 16 adults stay in the house and there was plenty of room to relax, to cook, and to find a quiet place away from the group. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy. Use the space heaters and extra blankets if you need, and text Mai if you have any issues, she's great. The couches are also big and comfy, so if you wake up in the middle of the night and need to settle down elsewhere, you can do so (we had a couple people with insomnia who were glad to have that option.)
Everyone loved the view from the back porch. There is plenty of seating and it is all really comfy, so we spent a lot of meals and hang out time outdoors. It was really quiet- you can sometimes hear a car drive by, or a dog bark int he distance, or kids laughing, but other than that it's birdsong and the wind. We are all also a bunch of nerds, so here is the animal list: we saw and heard Steller's jays, mountain chickadees, black capped chickadees, ravens, red tailed hawks, vultures, nuthatches, mule deer, and squirrels. It was really relaxing to look into the pine trees and out at the mountains peeking through.
The kitchen is really lovely- we cooked and prepped together for dinner and breakfasts, and even with so many people we had room to move around. There are plenty of basic kitchen supplies, so it's easy to make a meal with the pots, pans, and utensils available. The coffee makers are huge which was great in the mornings.
Beyond kitchen supplies, the place has lots of basic supplies scattered around, so don't worry if you forget to buy coffee creamer or napkins or makeup cleanser. We actually left behind some basic stuff like paper towels and coffee, which I hope the next guests will use. The whole place has a very practical and lived in quality to it, while still being super clean and lovely.
You have to be thoughtful about parking, but we managed to have six cars easily in and out of the garage and driveway without parking anyone in.
Mai was amazing. She helped with the reservation, communicated with use before, during , and after the rental time, and gave us tips for settling in the house. We felt really welcomed by the experience and our guests LOVED having a mountain get-away.
