Well appointed apartment. Well-situated closed to Metro and funicular station. Good neighborhood. Host Nicola very helpful including information about Forio, Ischia. Recommended good restaurants and informed us of food stores. Great patio, secluded and quiet.

Perfect location, a short walk to metro and funicular railway to get about the city. Close to cafes and restaurants. We used it as a base to do day trips to Pompeii,Ercolano and Sorenta. Public transport is cheap and we didn't need a car. Completely changed our opinion of Naples, there are some amazing areas to explore and we always felt safe. The apartment is spacious and the terrace is a plus. You do need to be fit as its 4 floors up! The owner was very kind and helpful.

Natacha était déjà venue avec une amie en 2014 à "la Gatta" et souhaitait me faire découvrir Naples et cet hébergement qu'elle avait particulièrement apprécié. Je n'ai été déçu, ni par cette ville prodigieuse, ni par l'appartement, confortable, agréable, très bien équipé et bien décoré. Le quartier Vomero où il se situe est également agréable, sur les hauteurs de Naples, avec de nombreux commerces et restaurants de qualité, et surtout bien desservi par le métro et les trois funiculaires qui permettent de se rendre dans la ville avec facilité. C'est avec regret que nous n'avons pas pu voir Adriana, mais avec grand plaisir que nous avons fait la connaissance de Nicola, qui avec gentillesse nous a aidés à bien nous organiser. Nous reviendrons sans doute, et sans hésiter à " La Gatta", une autre fois à une autre saison.

This was our second stay so Adriana and Nicola know that we like the apartment. It's well positioned, away from the niosey,crowded, main part of Naples but close to transport, shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, well equiped and has a great terrace to eat out on, or relax. We did not get to meet Nicola but Adriana is welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Naples.

Very pleased with the apartment, spacious and comfortable, especially enjoyed having our breakfast al fresco in the beautiful terrace, but not the mosquito bites. Situated on the third floor it becomes hard to climb when you carry suitcases or shopping. Despite the intermittent supply of hot water due to a malfunctioning boiler, we enjoyed our stay and the kindness of our hosts, Nicola and Adriana, very helpful and responsive to our needs. Definitely we’ll visit Vomero and Naples again.

We stayed at the apartment in July and loved it.The apartment has everything you need and Vomero is a great place to stay.You can easy get to Central Naples and then if you wish on to Capri, Pompeii, etc . Best of all Adriana and Nicola are fantastic, allways friendly and helpful.Thanks for such a lovely time.

We stayed in this lovely and spacious apartment one week. We loved every moment. Apartment has everything you need and more. Vomero is very nice neighbourhood with many many cafeterias, pizzerias, bars..etc. There any many streets only for pedestrians in Vomero. Vomero has space. Vanvitelli metro station is near. Adriana and his family was very welcoming and kind. Thank you!

I spent 6 months in this beautiful apartment in Vomero. I was alone and felt completely safe and at home here. Adriana and Nicola were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and able to enjoy my experience in Naples. The apartment is large with 2 bedrooms and a large kitchen/dining room. The terrace is fantastic with the kitchen and both bedrooms having access. All the rooms are bright and comfortable. The WiFi was great - fast and secure. The clothes washer has a great 30 minute cycle (plus many other settings) that I appreciated immensely. The apartment is in a perfect location by a pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants. It is also near the 3 funicolare that take you down the hill to different areas of Naples. The metro stop is even closer - a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. I enjoy walking and was able to walk all over without problems. I loved being here and was very sad when I had to leave. We have stayed in 5 Home&Away properties, and this has been the best experience so far. Casa Vacanze La Gatta is a very homely apartment, and very well appointed. It has a beautiful sun-terrace where we spent most of our sunshine hours and lovely, airy rooms for when we were indoors. It has an excellent location in Vomero, with a wide choice of restaurants within just a few minutes walk, and less than 10 minutes gentle stroll to the 3 Funicolari for sightseeing. Even nearer to the local Line 1 Metro station. Adriana and Nicolas are excellent hosts: from booking our taxis to offering help and advice when we needed it. We really enjoyed our return to Naples, with lovely day trips to Sorrento and Procida. Thank you for an excellent holiday! Steve Davies June 2017

Charming apartment with a great terrace and all needed appliances in a nice area of Naples. Very friendly and helpful owners living next door. I can highly recommend it to small families and couples.
