Location favolosa in pieno centro a pontremoli. Staff cordialissimo

The bedroom was very large & the bathroom had a balcony. very comfortable bed. Coffee machine was excellent as you could make coffee at your leisure.

The location: an ols, authentic appartment with very nice furniture.

Not easy to take a shower, you have to hold the shower-hard in your hand. Breakfast no fresh ingredients.

The room was specious and well appointed in a classic 18th century building. Close to a supermarket and restaurants. The host was welcoming, charminfand informative. Self serve breakfast was ample.

A password was provided, but the listed wifi was unavailable.

Breakfast was self service and was plentiful with the cakes and coffee, fruit juice etc. Location was excellent. The room was really fascinating as it must have been a medieval lounge or dining room before.

There was no lock on the bedroom, and there was someone sleeping in the opposite room who we weren't informed about, probably a family member. The heating was unable to be controlled by us, probably the building timer was used, but as the room was huge, it was also very cold. Bathroom was even colder as it was an extension to the main building.

The room was large.

We arrived with no instructions as to how to check in. I called, sent a message thru booking.com, and sent a message thru WhatsApp. It was an hour until I got a reply. We only got in because a man was entering the building so I asked him about Casa Couver. He went and got an older woman who let us in. This was only after we had stood out in front of the building in the rain, for 30 minutes with no response to my calls. As for the property, it is old and run down. There is mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the entire place smells musty. Also, the WiFi did not work (I’m not sure it actually exists). When I asked about it, the only response was, “maybe it’s due to the weather”, with no action to try to fix it. Honestly, the whole experience was creepy. By far my worst experience with Booking.com.

Fantastic hostess. She peaks universal Italian (we don't speak Italian but understood everything). Feels like you're visiting a lovely Italian aunt. Very big beautiful room and bathroom. Very clean. Makes you feel rich in a very nice town. She has all kinds of nice breakfast products and also coffee (with milk!) facilities. Super.

The room is clean, spacious and Italian vintage stylesh designed. It is equipped with everything you need. The host is great. She was in fast contact with us for everything we needed. The breakfast was generous. I really recommend this beautiful place!

An amazing gem in an incredibly charming town!! It is one of the most unique places to stay. A beautiful elegant house in the heart of town with a fantastic enormous bedroom and impeccable traditional finishes. An experience of being hosted at someone's incredible house. One can feel the stories of the people who've lived there for generations. The owner was the loveliest, kindest person you could hope to welcome you on arrival. Happy to chat with the guest about the house and the town. I was fortunate to stay there as a last minute plan but I would certainly return for longer stay! Absolutely recommend it!!

Good bed in very spacious room at the heart of town

Beautiful townhouse but furniture so out of date it is not usable (especially chairs and couch). Poor wifi (very slow at night, weak signal).

The host was very welcoming. The accommodation was cool, airy and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was self service with an array of things. It worked well with us as we were walking and made an early start.
