If you want the truth, only read the one star reviews.
This place is dirty, very poorly maintained and smells. We had to go buy our own towels and bedsheets. Further, the description is false. Living space is almost half the size of what is advertised. Don't get fooled by the pictures.

I am reaching out to you in order to request a solution to the problem that affects your platform and reputation and has impacted my desired vacation!
- The host uploaded photos on VRBO that did not match what was delivered
- Pictures of an oceanfront apartment with unobstructed views from a high floor (approximately 15th), but she provided an apartment on the 4th floor that had a building in front, obstructing the ocean view!!
In short, this is a scam happening on your platform!
Upon entering the apartment, we verified that the photos of it on VRBO did not match those of the apartment we were given. We notified the host (Lauren Laderman) about this, and after several interactions, she sent us this message:
" I also understand that this is not an ideal situation, and therefore I am
willing to issue a refund of $200 and as you requested, a 4 pm late checkout,
which normally has a cost of $100.
It would be the best that I can do, hoping that helps.
We are here to make sure our guests have the best possible experience, and would
not want this to affect your stay negatively.

On Sunday, July 2nd, the day of our check-out, in the morning, she notified us that we had to leave at 11 am because they had other guests!! But we had agreed on a late check-out at 4 pm!

Enjoyed everything about this residence! Condo was exactly as described. Very clean. The modern decor is perfect for the beach. Had everything we needed for the kitchen area. The wrap around balcony with beautiful views is the highlight of this condo.
Owner communication was excellent as well. All fees were communicated upfront, no surprises. Valet service was exceptional. The beach chairs and towels provided with the room is the perfect added extra. We did use the ones provided in the condo as well, thank you. The only suggestion would be more towels and toiletries provided for bathrooms. Overall, was exceptional.

The view from the balcony is spectacular. The place was spacious and beautiful. Just as the pictures show. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cups, plates, cooking utensils etc.

Great communication, easy checkin, everything went very smooth. Fantastic location, easy to the beach or pool. Had meetings nearby, and the rest of the group could keep busy. Yes valet and resort fee is extra upon arrival, which is cleary stated up front. Used to live in the area years ago, its a great spot between FLL and MIA.

This place is great!
The view from the unit is awesome in every direction.The apartment interior is nicely furnished and comfortable. Sitting out on the balcony is very enjoyable. This building is conveniently located near Walmart, restaurants and of course the beach. Any time of day or night all you need to do is go downstairs and you're at the beach. The apartment manager is pleasant and helpful.
I easily give this apartment a 5 star rating.

The stay was nice, there was an issue with the key card connecting to the door panel, which prevented entry to the unit. Nevertheless, maintenance came and resolved the issue. Overall, the unit was clean and appears to be well maintained. However, the bathroom shower and toilets could use a bit more thorough cleaning. There were pieces of long hair on the shower floor and wall. The toilet in the master bath smelled of urine...a little awesome, bleach, scrubbing bubbles and even Lysol would help. The host was very responsive and wanted to ensure we had a good stay. Will definitely visit again

We have no complaints about this property. We enjoyed our stay from the day we arrived until the day we left. Laure was very helpful and communicated with us the entire time we were there. I highly recommend this property to all that plan on visiting this area.

The condo itself was fine. Spacious and clean with most of the essentials. Resort staff were rude, intrusive and generally unhelpful. The armed security guards around the pool and restaurant area were overbearing and intimidating to many of the families of young kids. The beach was completely inaccessible from the condo grounds. Designated beach chairs which come with the rental are located about 1/4 mile down the beach and are challenging to get to especially if anyone staying there has any kind of physical limitations. Wait times to check in, catch the elevator and retrieve your car from valet were excessive. Upwards of 20 to 30 minutes to get an elevator’every time! There is also a hot water issue in the building. The upper floors take 10-15 minutes for the hot water to circulate to the shower. I would not recommend this resort until significant improvements are made. I have stayed in multiple other properties around Florida and this one is not worth it for the money you have to pay!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The views were amazing and the resort had a lovely pool and access to the beach. The Hollywood area was very family friendly and I highly recommend the Tiki Tiki restaurant for dinner. It’s a close drive to Fort Lauderdale which we really enjoyed with the kids. The only flaw at this location is that the check in process took quite some time because of the lack of staff to accommodate all those checking in to VRBOs. I was in line for about 30 minutes with only two folks ahead of me.everything else at the property was great. Tips: buy Keurig coffee pods, dishwasher tablets and cleaning wipes if you plan to stay more than a couple days.

First of all, I have stayed at the Hyde before! It is right in the middle of Ft Lauderdale and Miami! The view is spectacular!
Great beach right outside your door! The resort is clean, friendly, and perfect for a quite place to come home to after a day of running around. The pool is awesome as well. Food at the restaurants is excellent, although a little pricey.
Laure, the apartment manager was great to work with. She really took care of us and responded immediately when we had questions. I hope to utilize her services in the future! Here's a hug from Iowa, Laure! ((HUGS))

The resort management (not owner) leaves a bit to be desired as they seemed to be unorganized. Check in was lengthy & difficult. The “Owner” Elevator was out of service on the first day which meant waiting for the elevator with resort guests for about 20 minutes. After that the “owner” elevator that we used was fixed , but the resort guests figured out that they could use it to avoid security- and many did, making it typically a long wait for the elevator. This was compounded by COVID restrictions limiting elevator to 4 people at a time.
The beach service was great. The pool is beautiful, but doesn’t offer towel service until 11 am.
The property was as described, beds were comfortable, but property could use a fresh paint job. The valet service was good. There are about $50 in mandatory additional resort and valet fees per day- so be aware.
There are minimal bathroom supplies and no kitchen condiments- so be sure to bring with you if needed.
The resort guests are a bit loud and there was marijuana smoke odor in the hallway. Although we were at the end of the building facing the water, the resort guests occupy the rest of the floor and seemed to be a young crowd.
The Etaru restaurant right in front of the property was exceptional- would highly recommend. I would avoid the pool restaurant for breakfast as it was expensive, and the service and food were not good.
Overall, nice location and great view, with some drawbacks vs a private home.

Very good location and a nice condo. Amenities are very good.. Need either a faster elevator or an additional way to get to the condo. We tried the stairs but needed a key to access out of the stairwell that we did not have. Overall though a very good experience. A very good condo for parties up to 6 people.

Perfect Getaway!!
4 of us (60+) needed a week getaway and we found the perfect location!! Excellent view of the ocean. Very quiet and relaxing and ALL the staff we interacted with were courteous and responsive. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale which was only a few miles away and much more convenient than Miami airport. A very short drive to grocery stores and great outdoor restaurants. You cannot go wrong renting this VRBO!!!

Beautiful View and Great Location
Our stay was very pleasant. Laurie and her assistant Diana are great with communicating on any situation needed. The condo is clean as pictured, there is washer/dryer inside the unit, the location of the condo on the 16th floor is privately secluded, the building is secure, everyone was nice, you have all the stores near you even a little walking distance if you do not have a vehicle and the views are beautiful. I definitely recommend.

Amazing property, view, beach, and pool, but waited ONE HOUR for an elevator on checkout day!!!
Great communication with property manager. Condo was clean and as advertised. View, beach, and pool were amazing. Only thing preventing a five star was the elevators. Very slow for the entire stay, and a disaster on checkout day. We took the stairs for our 15th floor unit during most of the trip but checking out with four large suitcases we had no choice but to wait for the elevator. OVER ONE HOUR before we could finally squeeze into one. Only five total elevators for a high rise, they need more elevators!

Fun girls weekend
Great stay at this condo! The unit was clean, well-appointed. The location is nice and oceanfront. The beach is narrow and crowded with beach chairs. The pool area is very nice and resort-like. Pool bar and food service is excellent!
The elevator can take a while as previously mentioned. It would have been helpful to have check-out instructions or helpful tips for our stay, such as where the trash chute is, what the different bins in the island are for, etc.
Laure was very easy to work with! She came on the day we checked in just to check and make sure we got in ok and to make sure we had everything. I had a couple of questions that she promptly answered for me too.
