Situated in Auckland Region, this lovely house for $273 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Freshly renovated inside for 2024, Only 100m to the Beach. 1and 1/2 hours from Auck. There is room for everyone here. Great beach house for a large group or two families holidaying together. Full fenced section, Five good sized bedrooms, huge lounge and dining area. A home away from home. Minutes to Awesome Surfing, Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Golf, kayaking, Marine / Bird reserves etc....... The property is situated within a few meters to the beautiful white sand beach of Ruakaka ( Safe Patrolled Swimming). Easy to nip back for the forgotten item, to shower, lunch, etc. Great place for swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, fishing, gathering shellfish or beach walking. There is also an estuary with wildlife reserves. Only 90 minutes north of Auckland and 25 mins south of Whangarei City, Ruakaka has much to offer the visitor: * 5 minute drive to the stunning Waipu 18 hole all weather golf course * 10 minute drive to the boat ramp at One Tree Point, awesome sailing, fishing and diving to be had! * 10 minute drive to Waipu village with it’s numerous cafes/restaurants, small shops and museum * 15 minute drive to Waipu Caves and walkway * 5 minute drive to Ruakaka town centre, where there is a Supervalue supermarket, video rental store, GP, cafe, tavern * 5 minute walk to local dairy * Also in the area are fishing and diving charters, Kayak hire, horse trecks and some fantastic driving scenery Located in the front section of paradise shores with slight sea views, this is the perfect place to get together, relax and enjoy this fantastic beach Special conditions: Christmas to Waitangi weekend (1st week of February)- weekly bookings only. Out of peak season - a minimum stay applies for public holiday weekends and 2 night minimum stay on weekends. $500 bond for all stays, refundable upon return of key and a satisfactory inspection of property. Check-in time 3 pm, check-out time midday. Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi batch tradition you are expected to: Clean the house before you leave so its ready for the next guest. We do offer a cleaning service at an extra cost, if you don't wish to do this.

We had another great stay at this holiday home. Our second year staying here and we love it. The renovations of the interior are fantastic and the location is perfect. A wonderful holiday home for 2 families. We are going to book again for next summer - Thank you!

Nice property, spacious, good indoor outdoor flow. Close to beach. Maybe will need a makeover in the near future. But we were very happy.

The bach was just the right place for our family reunion, some from overseas. It was wonderfully close to the beach and the house is well designed for a relaxing holiday. It does however, need some maintenance, as all houses do. But communication with the host on this was very positive and I can commend them on their bach. I hope to stay there again.

This property is the dirtiest and least maintained we have ever stayed in across New Zealand. This meant that upon arrival on Friday my husband and I spent most of the day cleaning rather than having a holiday with our little girl, before our guests arrived on the Saturday morning:( The kitchen counters were sticky, and dust covered, the toaster has never been cleaned out, the kettle had pieces of stuff coming off its inside when boiled, the microwave was not cleaned and we had to wash all of the plates, cups, glasses and utensils before use. The pans in the kitchen are rusted and the rust came off onto the eggs we tried to make on Sunday morning. The floors had balls of dust and hair everywhere in the living area, dining room and all the bedrooms. The matrasses had bugs and human hairs of different colors on it (we only saw this on the day we left as we were instructed to clean all the lined and the whole house before we left), a courtesy we were definitely not afforded. The linen in the twin single room was dusty:( The toilet had urine and black curly hairs on it upon arrival. Neither the baths nor the sinks were cleaned. The BBQ was used but has not been cleaned in a very long time, and the grills could not be leaned well enough to actually use so we had to organise for our own grills to be brought with friends from Auckland. We discussed the fact that the place was so dirty with the owner face-to-face on Friday, who responded by saying that "well this is Kiwi-bach rules, you get the place the way it's left by the previous people". This was surprising as we were the first people to go into this house for summer, meaning the owners did not clean it/have it cleaned since it was closed up in winter. This was a terrible experience for 3 families with small children. Supplying a clean place is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we needed but was not granted. This after I was sent instructions a week prior to arrival of how the house needed to be cleaned, linen washed and dried and replaced (this was not on the house rules when I booked it). The only positive is the location and the size of the house.

1. Communication with host is good. 2. Location and neighborhood is great. 3. We did not use the oven as it was mouldy and dirty. 4. Pots and pans was not cleaned properly. ( suggest replacing some.of them). 5. Overall , it was a relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful property met all of our expectations, plenty of room close to the beach so we walked to watch the sunrise, close to all amenities. I would recommend this house . We were a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

Great location - only 2 minute walk to a lovely surf beach. The layout of the house worked well for us. A big lounge with seating for everyone. There were clear instructions for cleaning up.

Was an absolutely beautiful weekend away. The property was great for my toddlers and puppy to enjoy, we had our brother and sister in law come stay aswell, was nice and relaxing. Beds were great for the kids and king bed was so comfortable. Early checkin if we wanted and got to check out whenever we wanted. Great place and we will be back.

We had our family stay in this property from overseas. They loved how close it was to the beach and hanging out in the big outdoor deck. Property owners were so good to deal with. All round a great experience

We spent a week at this property just across the road from the beach. It was spacious and very comfortable. and had everything we could need for the week. Fortunately the weather was perfect but there things to do if it rained. Being fully fenced gave us peace of mind for the safety of our grandchildren and our small dog. The property owners were flexible and very easy to deal with. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to go back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruakaka. We were very impressed with not only how well equipped the bach was for 12 people but also how well kept it was. Awesome outdoor dining area that we used often (despite the weather!). Kitchen had everything we needed, and the two bathrooms were fab! The best part was the 5 minute walk to the beach!! Absolutely awesome bach, we will definitely be back next year.

Nice big roomy house for all our kids to play without being in each others way. Great spot close to the beach and there was plenty of everything ie plates, cutlery, linen etc for a large group (we had 6 adults, 8 kids). Would go back again if the opportunity comes up.
