not the same property - just about ok for a few hours

The location is good even though it wasn't on the same street as advertised, the apartement was clean and we could use the fridge.

We weren't put up in the property that was booked, the address itself changed when we were on our way to get the keys. The place where we stayed was on Bank street and was very poorly furnished, with all furnishings in a sorry state. The bedroom was on a platform upstairs and nobody even bothered to check with us that we could climb. There wasn't even any toilet paper in the apartment. Had it been that we would have booked for more than one night, we would have refused to stay there.

Horrible ☹️

The location is convenient and close to the mall. That's about all I enjoyed.

My partner and I booked from Friday to Monday. The place was really dusty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The stove was really dirty and so that changed our plans to cook. The microwave had stains on it so we were reluctant to use it to warm up our food. The cutlery (cups, glasses, plates) were all in terrible condition. They were all stained and some were even brown inside. The couches and carpet were really filthy. One of the couches were covered in a blanket which looked like it hadn't been washed in years. We tried to turn a blind eye to everything because we aren't the type of people who complain too often, but when we got into bed, the sheets and covers had so much static electricity, you could literally see the sparks. And when you move, you get electricuted. The towels in the bathroom were completely stiff, either because they were so old or just hadn't been washed in a long time. We decided to spend the next day outside the apartment so we only at least had to sleep there but my breaking point was when we returned and saw 2 cockroaches. I immediately booked us into another hotel but we couldn't check in that night so we were forced to stay another night. By the morning, I was terribly sick due to the dust in that apartment, and there are no cleaning facilities to even clean up for yourself. The building itself is under construction and so the lifts are quite scary looking and have a tendency to get stuck (which happened to me). Eventually we checked out a day early and didn't even bother to contact the host as we were not looking for a fight, so we just silently packed up and went to the vantage (which is a great option btw).

Great location, super dirty rooms

Great location, very close to Rosebank Mall. Safe parking. They let us early check-in.

The flat is very dirty. There are food remaining from other guests in the cupboards and full of bugs. We stayed only 1 night so we thought we could close our eyes to little things but then at night we realized that the bed was in terrible conditions. Dirty, smelly sheets and cushions. Probably they were not changed for a while. We couldn’t sleep at all. There were no towels provided. But when we called, they bring some and again not clean ones. After all we noticed bed bug bites all over our bodies. That was the only place we stayed in these conditions so pretty sure we had them there. If they mind to clean the rooms, it will be a great place.

Nice but could be better

There were dishes and pots and cleaning things as well as a heater, fan, iron and ironing board and a washing machine. The mall was literally 5 minutes up the road and transport is also quite close. The area isn't very busy and the security guards are very kind. The wifi was great too. The bed, though he sheets were not ironed, was very comfy. The fridge worked and the shower was great.

The carpet and couch were not clean, neither were the dishes in the cupboards. Also you need to have your own codes for all the apps like DSTV and Netflix and Showmax. The place isn't very well sound proofed as well. Also no complimentary cosmetics as advertised.

Good premises, need better host/management

I like the location, security, and premises.

I did not like the lack of instructions on the check-in and check-out, they were not clear. It was very cold and the room did not have any heater or AC heater. Not leaflet with instructions on the use of the room, as we stayed 4 days and did not know where to place the trash.

There was no double bed but two single beds put together. And their matrasses were not comfortable especially on the edges as they were put together 😔

The bed. Springs coming out. The bedroom so small. Have to walk around the bed up against the wall to get to bathroom No full bouquet on Netflix. No WiFi password given. No communication from host. In fact the lady who rented it out who cannot give a name who says she owns the properties being rent is the most awful host u have dealt with ever. Let alone screaming at us and closing the lift behind us at the elevator!!!!! No customer service whatsoever No communication on parking. The advertising is very misleading.... the Bolton Apartments will never see us again. Been there twice due to ongoing travelling in a space of two weeks..and the treatment is awful. Please check out their rates . Definitely not 4 star!!!!! Moved out immediately... major inconvenience... . So disgusted!

Superb

The Apartment was so cosy and homey,I fet comfortable. There is a smart TV with free Wifi so I could Netflix & YouTube to my hearts content. Great building,very modern and clean. And the Shower is Big and has has great Water pressure.

There was no air freshener in the bathroom, one of towels wasn't properly washed,but wasn't so bad as I had 3 towels to choose from.The Dishes where still wet when I arrived at the apartment and I waited for a while for the room to be ready as arrived exactly at 14:00 hrs, showing last minute preparations for my arrival.
