About this house rental

Gorgeous family Bach in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the Lake with lots of room for everyone over two levels. Wi-Fi included. This family home is spread over two levels with the living, bathroom and three of the bedrooms on one floor with two further bedrooms and another bathroom on the lower level, off the *garage. Perfect for the whole family that wants to get away from the city. The lounge opens out to the views from the large bi-fold doors onto a roomy deck looking out over Little Acacia Bay, and from French doors to the sheltered rear deck with a BBQ and more outdoor furniture. The living area has a large heat pump and seating options plus Wi-Fi is included. The open plan kitchen has all the mod-cos and there is a large dining setting perfect for catching up with family. The section is large with ample parking for cars and boats, and the boat ramp is a mere 150 meters from the house. The garage is not available for parking Larte café and ceramic/gift shop just a few minutes drive away and there are many lovely bush walks and bike tracks nearby. Highchair and cot are available for use at the property This home is in a quiet residential area and noise can travel this close to the Lake, please keep this is mind when booking this home as excessive noise will not be tolerated.  This home is not suitable for large groups of adults. * This home has internal stairs, climbing hazards, high windows and is near the Lake so may not be suitable for small children. This is a modern Kiwi Bach as we know and love, it is a simple and affordable shared home with no frills, made for families to enjoy and make lasting memories of Great Lake Taupō. For this reason, there may be a level of personal belongings. Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks are fine, but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours. This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults. Disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. When making a request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and plans for while you are in Taupō. Please note we may contact you for more information on behalf of our owners. All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted and are liable for any damages to the property. We have a strict no party policy (large groups, hens, stags etc.) and do not allow functions or large gatherings. The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. Respect for neighbours regarding noise and cars must be considered, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if we receive complaints. All guests are your responsibility so please take care and parental supervision is required for all children at all times, especially around stairs, balconies, water and fires. The holiday home is not to be used as a function venue, events or activity that involve a larger number of people than stated on the maximum occupancy. All homes are privately owned, please treat them with respect and if an incident/damage happens, report it ASAP so it can be repaired or replaced. For damages be aware that your credit card will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were on arrival. You will have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers a general service clean. If the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $40.00 per hour for this. If you use a BBQ it must be left clean, if not a $40.00 fee will be charged for cleaning. ALL rubbish must be removed from throughout the property on your departure; failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of $40.00 for labour and council disposal fees. Some homes allow up to ONE bag of rubbish to be left as part of the clean fee, specific property instructions will be at the home for you. The property must be left secure and safe upon your departure. Please check all windows, doors and appliances including heaters, electric blankets, elements, and sockets before you leave the property. Well located in a quiet location with a gorgeous view of the lake, the property was the perfect choice for my partners birthday to chill out with friends and family. Loads of space, handy to Taupo and heaps of parking.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was a perfect size for us with 7 adults and 2 children. We also had plenty space to have other family come over and join us for meals. Was a beautiful location, with amazing views. Having such a special place made celebrating my Māmā’s 50th all the more memorable.

Lovely home to come home to after a busy day. Enough space for a large family and good sized rooms. And the view is phenomenal.

Comfy beds, well eqipped kitchen. Minor maintenance tasks need to be completed which would add the the quality of stay.

Nice house in great location. Had everything we needed. Beds were all comfortable. Very cold downstairs with two of the bedrooms straight off the garage. Fire place was nice, had heaps of wood for us to use. Bathroom and toilet upstairs cold do with a good deep clean, walls etc dead bugs everywhere and in the lights too. Gas bottles weren’t completely filled for the BBQ so half way through cooking dinner it ran out and the other two spares were empty too, so had to trek back into Taupo to find somewhere to get gas. Also a mouse running around downstairs too. Saw a trap but nothing in it to catch the mouse.

We were a group of 9 longtime friends touching base for the weekend. The house was in a great location with a lovely view. The amenities were great & suited our group size perfectly and the fire was an added bonus. We had a great long weekend.
