Interesting A frame design only 4 houses away from the beach. Some minor issues with washer and kitchen faucet clearly explained by the owner during check-in. Communication with the owner is one of the best strengths of this property.

Wonderful vacation, loved the deck and extremely close proximity to the beach. Jim was very easygoing and accommodating, we had a very easy stay, everything was just as great as we had hoped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this A-frame house in Harvey Cedars. The outside deck is definitely one of the major highlights. It is very private with comfortable seating and a nice grill for barbecuing. The bedrooms are a bit small and one is in an open loft area. The kitchen and living room area was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults and a child. Jim, who lives downstairs, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to return sometime soon!

This is a gem of a property. It feels like a hidden oasis a stones throw to the beach. The inside is lovely w post and beam architecture and a loft upstairs. The back deck was a haven for me. Private w trees shade so you don’t feel overexposed to neighbors. Yet gets plenty of sun for enjoying the warm days. It has a large umbrella for the table if you prefer more shade. All the furniture, oversized couch and all the beds were very comfortable and were nicely decorated. Comfortable linens. Jim was the perfect host. He provides everything, towels, beach towels, linens, beach chairs etc, which made packing very simple. The beach is only a few houses away and the water is extremely close to the entrance making it an easy walk. The neighborhood/block is beautiful and quiet and very convenient 1/4 mile to stores and restaurants. I loved everything about our stay and highly recommend it. Thanks Jim!

What a fabulous stay on LBI. The owner, Jim, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The house was spotless and very comfortable for us. A very quick walk to the beach. Jim also brought us back a ton of freshly picked blueberries. It was exactly what the doctor ordered!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This house is a perfect size for our family of five and Jim is very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Beds were comfortable, the place is clean, and there is lots of beach gear and an outside shower. The deck was a really nice spot to eat meals. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Everything about this rental is A+. This small 3 bedroom home is well suited for 1-6 people, particularly a great getaway for couples. Tastefully decorated, the home is cozy and neat with a well equipped kitchen and even bed linens and towels are provided. The proximity to the beach is a short 2 minute beach block walk. A private deck offers a great space for grilling and dining. Jim, our host, is very friendly and quite accommodating if need be. We had a very enjoyable family week on LBI (four adults and 2 tweens). The owner was very hospitable and showed real pride of ownership in this rental. We enjoyed our meals on the deck surrounded by the beautiful flowers. This was one of the cleanest and most well-kept houses that we have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the loft bedroom was excellent. We all made use of the convenient outdoor shower. The downstairs bedrooms were not air conditioned. We had to rely on the living room air conditioner and a fan to stay cool, this was the only negative. We would definitely rent here again!

The home is exceptionally furnished with everything you need. We especially loved the location of being so close to the wide beach and within walking/bike riding distance to restaurants.

Just as advertised - a well-appointed 3 bedroom duplex with a one minute walk to a beautiful beach with sandbar for fun in the water. The deck with teak furniture was a pleasure and would comfortably seat 6 for dinner. Jim (owner) provides beach supplies and was very pleasant. No unpleasant surprises here.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy A frame. The house was comfortable, well equipped, and clean. Plus, the location couldn't be better-just a few houses from the beach and close to stores and restaurants. The owner, Jim, was very nice and accessible-he responded quickly and cheerfully if we needed anything but was not at all intrusive. Plus, he brought us a bowl of freshly picked blueberries! We would definitely recommend this house and location!

Exactly what we needed, no more, no less! Owner on first floor super friendly and available for anything you may need. Comfortably slept 2 adults and 4 kids...5 minute walk (door to putting down your beach chair) to guarded water either left or right as you hit beach. House is well stocked with everything we needed, including towels and chairs.

We recently stayed at this home during the 4th of July week. It was a complete pleasure. The access to the beach is unbeatable especially with young children. The house was spotless and well stocked with everything needed. If you are looking to be on the quieter side of the island, Harvey cedars is a great location. This was our first time in Harvey Cedars and we will be back on this side from now on. Everything is nearby from supermarkets to restaurants. The house has a great deck too with a grill. The owner is great, very responsive and accommodating. We would love to be back at this house next year. We were very comfortable.

Wonderful vacation spot. Nice, quiet neighborhood in Harvey Cedars area of LBI. Very few other rentals around so it was so peaceful and laid back. Away from the hustle and bustle of LBI where it is more built up south further on the island. Still plenty of good restaurants around though (6-8 min drive). Shore Fire Grille was awesome! Just a couple houses from the beach so it was such a convenient location! Property was very clean, in great condition and had everything we needed. Kitchen (appliances, utensils, pots/pans, glasses, etc.) was more stocked than most rentals. Nice big TV with satellite. Faster Wi-Fi then what we have at home! LOL Great side deck that is shaded in the evenings for hanging out. Outdoor shower was really handy too given that there is only one bathroom and it's a little on the small side. Loved the open A-frame chalet style. Made the cozy house feel more open and spacious. Large driveway too. The owner was great to deal with. Very friendly and accommodating. Only negatives were it was a little hard to control the temperature with the two large A/C units. They can definitely make it cold, but we struggled to find that sweet spot between too warm and not too cold. Also, watch your head in the loft if you are tall like me. Thumped it on the ceiling beams a couple of times. LOL We had two families in it (2 adults and a child and 2 adults and 2 kids). It was a little small for that many people but we knew that it would be going in. We didn't mind being a little tight. A single family of 5-6 would be perfect though.

This is a great beach house! It is just steps away from the ocean on a quiet street. The house is well maintained and it has a lot of character. It is clean and fully stocked. You can see the ocean through the top windows! The deck is spectacular and we really enjoyed grilling and relaxing out there. The house itself is really unique and has a lot of character and kudos to the owner for his topnotch decorating skills. We had a really great stay here and we appreciated how considerate and helpful the owner was. We will be back again next year!

The house was well maintained and spacious. This was our first time renting on the Northern end of the island. The house and location exceeded our expectations!! It was quiet, yet close to amenities. The short walk to the beach was so convenient and the owner was tentative and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!!
