central and great for a one nighter

The room was exactly as described and good value for money. It served its purpose of accommodating us at short notice for a work event being held on a public holiday weekend when everything else was booked out.
As it was a booking for work purposes we required a tax invoice and as Booking.com don't provide tax invoices, we expected that we would be able to receive one from the property owner. However, this was very hard to organise and required much toing and froing with both Booking.com and the owner.

Bed was comfortable. Carport available.
My bedroom was at the front of the house and the bathroom was at the back of the house, which means you have to walk outside and around the house to the back. Although lighting was good but not really comfortable for my situation. Great for young people or backpackers but definitely not for single or older women.

Location was okay.
Bathroom 40 metres outside and around back of house, away from room. Not private (also used by family). Bathroom door to back verhanda did not close properly, 2nd door into family home could not be locked. Family towells hanging in bathroom. No ability to rinse cups etc in room. No ventilation in room (very musty smelling).

I don't like the toilet because you have to go out from the room and walk outside the house to use toilet

location wise it wasn't too bad. i never met the host but he made sure that i can get into my room as i was arriving late but leaving early the next morning.
it was an interesting place because it's a room attached to the main house .. but with its own access door from outside and to get to the bathroom, you have to walk outside along the side of the house to get to the bathroom at the back of the house.

Very bad location, property uncleaned, old stuff scattered everywhere along the property, we never sleep there. We find better property nearby. Did not refund money.

The place is accessible to all. Near from beaches, fishing spots and stores.
I thought we have our own toilet in the room. It was quiet hard because we needed to go a bit far at the back to have access with the toilet.

If you're looking for a piece of Australiana at a very good price, then this is the place for you.
Andy was an excellent host and the room had everything you need for a trip. I loved the art style and humour that had been infused into the cottage.
Everything you need is a short stroll into town including the local IGA, bottleshop take-out.

Andy the owner was lovely!! And suggested some local spots to visit as me and my friend were new to the Augusta area. The room was clean with good facilities and location was perfect and so close to town.

Not much but it was warm as it had aircon.
The room was a closed in verandah on the front of the house.The floor was painted cement.Black sheets on the bed.Musty/ mouldy smell in the room.The bathroom was in the back of the house via outside access-(not good for cold or wet weather)General presentation was poor quality for the nightly rate.
