Riad is beautifully maintained and the support staff speaks multiple languages, and was wonderfully helpful in making recommendations. Dinners were really amazing, and I'd highly recommend including them! Riad is walkable to most sites loke Secret Garden, plaza, historical sites. 5 star experience!

Lovely property - Mostapha and Zekia ( manager & cook) we’re fabulous- took care of our every need- a convenient location in that the taxi could drive into Medina and the a short walk to the Riad. The food provided was plentiful and they dealt with all my food allergies so I could have proper nutrition. We all loved it here !!

On vient vous chercher à l'aéroport. Khadija est une cuisinière excellente, je vous conseille de manger a la manger (plusieurs fois).
Enplacelent idéal.

Perfect for Enjoying Marrakesh
We stayed 6 nights and found the property to be comfortable and well located for visiting different sites in Marrakesh. Nice amenities such as a rooftop terrace for catching the sunset and relaxing before dinner. The staff, Mostapha and Khadija, are very personable and helpful. It was great to feel like there was always someone there to assist us. Mostapha helped us arrange reservations and transport. Khadija is a wonderful cook with a welcoming personality. We enjoyed talking with them both. It all made for a great week in Marrakesh!

Le cadre idyllique de Dar Essatatia, les chambres, les Sdb ainsi que la somptueuse terrasse, tout ceci dans un calme apaisant. Nous recommandons chaleureusement la Dar Essatatia pour un périple à Marrakech!
Sans oublier les talents de cuisinière, la gentillesse de Khadija, qui plus qu'une hôte est devenue une amie.
Merci à Mustapha pour ses conseils avisés et son efficacité!

Vie au riad décevante
Dans l'ensemble le riad est plutôt sympa mais la présence permanente de la gouvernante impose trop de contrainte.
Elle ne dispose ni de chambre ni de salle de bain ni de piece de vie. Elle est donc en permanence dans les pieces qui sont censées être à disposition.
Sa chambre c'est le salon ! donc inaccessible la nuit (il ne faut pas oublier de prendre sa bouteille d'eau car le réfrigérateur s'y trouve).
Nous vous deconseillons également de prendre les petits dejeuner si vous etes matinaux. Sur 7 petits dejeuner aucun n'a été servis avant 9h. Malgré nos demandes (nous avons dû organiser nos journées avec cette contrainte)
Nous avons également diner 2 soir au Riad mais la encore repas servi a 22h30 (ca fait un peu tard quand il y a 4 enfants) avec un plat qui n'était pas celui commandé (grosse déception surtout quand sommes informé lorsque le plat est posé sur la table .
Pour permettre aux enfants de se reposer nous avons passé une journée au riad mais entre le bruit et les odeurs de cuisine... impossible et vraiment pas agréable ! D'autant plus qu'aucune cuisine n'a été demandé par nous ce jour là.
En résumé, si vous cherchez la tranquillité et un peu d'intimité, nous vous déconseillons cette location où nous avons l'impression de vivre chez l'habitant et à son rythme.

Beau Ryad au centre de la médina
Nous avons passé 8 jours très agréables dans un quartier populaire de Marrakech. Ryad très bien équipé, très typique et très bien adapté pour une famille. Le seul petit bémol vient de la gestion des repas qui n’a pas été très transparente par rapport à l’argent versé et les repas servis. Par contre, les plats étaient de très bons et typiquement marocain.

Ria Dar Essattatia, un séjour inoubliable🌞
Accueil chaleureux dans cette très belle maison. Mostapha a été de très bon conseil, toujours à notre écoute. Grâce à lui, nos déambulations dans Marrakech , notre journée dans la vallée de l'Ourika, et notre ballade dans la palmeraie à dos de dromadaire ont été enchanteresses. Notre séjour dans la maison fût inoubliable, grâce à Kadija. Sa gentillesse, sa bonne humeur, son humour, son amour des autres et sa cuisine merveilleuse nous ont permis de nous sentir chez nous et de partager en famille et avec elle des moments merveilleux. Merci encore à vous deux.
Nous recommenderons très volontiers à nos amis et connaissances voulant venir à Marrakech, de séjourner dans ce riad.

Escapade marocaine
Un très bon séjour entr'amis dans cette confortable propriété au calme de l' agitation extérieure. Bien accueillis , conseillés par Mostapha nous avons apprécié la cuisine marocaine préparée avec soin par Khadija .Logés dans un quartier populaire de la Médina nous avons pu découvrir au plus près la vie quotidienne de la population marrackechie.

riad très sympa au nord de la médina avec un accès facile, tout est à 15/20mn à pied (si on ne se perd pas dans les souks!)
l' accueil de Khadija et Mostapha est incroyable. Leur gentillesse, leur dévouement et les succulents plats préparés par Khadija sont un régal.
Après une journée bien remplie en visite on se repose sur la terrasse ou dans le jacuzzi.

It's located on a quiet street in the Bab Taghzout neighborhood in the Medina w/ easy access to taxis. The souks are an easy walk & so is the Jema el Fna. The manager, Mostapha, met us at the airport & took us to the riad. He was a valuable source of information & suggestions & greeted us every morning to help w/ any arrangements we needed. Khadijah prepared our delicious breakfasts & on request served us fantastic dinners. She shopped for fresh foods each day & spent hours preparing these traditional Moroccan meals. She also took care of all the housekeeping duties & kept the riad spotless. Both she & Mostapha were great w/ the children & we all felt like we made two new friends. We would highly recommend this riad for a great Marrakech experience.

Parfait !
Le ryad est exactement comme sur les photos émises par le propriétaire. Rien à enlever, rien à ajouter. Le personnel est top ! Accueil chaleureux, disponible à tous moments et de très bons conseils.
Nous étions 4 couples d'amis venus passer les fêtes de fin d'année et chacun de nous recommandera vivement, à nos relations et connaissances ce ryad.
Khadija est une cuisinière hors pair et d'une incroyable gentillesse. Mostapha, quant à lui, s'est montré d'un très grand professionnalisme, sérieux, ponctuel, et "responsable" dans la qualité de notre séjour.
Unanimement nous les remercions avec grande gratitude pour notre séjour qui restera gravé dans nos esprits et dans nos coeurs: nous étions "en famille" !!!

Lovely Riad with a great rooftop
Family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) spend 3 nights in Riad Essattatia, We received a very warm welcome from Mostapha and Khadija who has prepared a delicious chicken tajiin for dinner just as well as she served us a nice morrocan breakfast and fresh pressed orange juice every morning. Khadija is a very lovely lady, she only speaks arabic and french but we managed it anyway. Mostapha is also very friendly guy with a good sense of humor, speaking a very good english and he informed us very well to let us loose in the Medina with do's and don'ts).
The riad is very beautiful with spacious rooms and lovely bathrooms, a great great rooftop with a spa and a nice corner for the hole family to relax. We hope to come back soon and we definitely recommend Riad Essattia and it's lovely staff.

We have had a Wonderful stay at the Riad. It is in a great location and the building itself inside is absolutely gorgeous. Everything has been designed to reflect the Morrocan artisan style. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.Booking and communication with Philippe the owner was excellent. However the best part of Riad Essattatia is the housekeeper Khadija. She is an absolute treasure. She utterly spoiled us and the children. She has a wonderfully sense of humour and we wish we had her company all the time. Mustapha went out of his way to get us there and make us feel safe and settled. He is such a asset to the Riad also. We would love to return and would thoroughly recommend the Riad for families with children. Thank you Khadija, Mustapha and Phillipe

we liked to stay in your riad. the interior-design is very individual. it is good, that every sleeping room is connected with a bathroom. and it was nice, that we had the transfer from airport to the riad included. Mostapha is a nice guy, who understands, what the tourists need.
when we came back to the riad, we found it cleened and well. that was nice.
beakfast and lunch inside of the riad we didn`t like and a person, who ist any time in the house would not have been necessary for us.

Stunning Very Clean with a super roof top area that has a hot tub and sitting area with a table.
i had a wonderful holiday with my family. the riad was stunning.clean and very clean. Our housekeeper/chef was so friendly and the meals she prepared for us were gorgeous. and served up in such beautiful designs. we all had an amazing time in Marrakech and will not hesitate to recommend the riad to friends.
