If you are looking for a relaxing time at the beach, you need to LOOK AT THIS !!!! Myrtle Beach is voted #1 in the USA, 6th in the world. Just south is Surfside Beach and Garden City. Ocean Lakes is a gated community and has 24 hour security. Just pack your luggage and come on down. It's the perfect getaway .There is fishing in the ponds or deep sea fishing available, volleyball, basketball courts, horseshoe pitching, playgrounds for the kids, miniature golf, indoor & outdoor pool. Sandy Harbor fun center, cafe and convenience store. Friday and Saturday night golf cart parade, and Sunday morning worship service. Nearby is the Nascar speed park, myrtle waves park, first class golf courses, many fine dining choices, lives shows, amusement parks, dozens of attractions flea market, outlet stores, and a airport nearby. world renowned restaurants, lounges, and bars. The new sky wheel is 200 ft high, there are aquariums, zoos, and parks. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home on stilts, with covered parking below.It has a open floor plan with eat in in kitchen, and dining room. There is a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot and all cooking supplies. Living room has full couch, recliner, and additional seating. Complimentary cable on new Samsung Smart TV. Master bedroom has queen size bed with TV and personal bathroom. Second and third bedrooms has twin over full beds with TV. Second bathroom has full size tub & shower. There is plenty of closet space for your belongings.The home also has central vacuum cleaner, plus washer dryer combo. The outside has chairs for sunbathing or just relaxing. Full size deck on top and cement pad on bottom. Out door shower downstairs to rinse away the sand and sweat.Small refrigerator and awing downstairs. Open bar and TV for relaxing in the shade. There is also a golf cart for riding and enjoying the views. The home has just been renovated and decorated beautifully for your enjoyment. Please remember to leave it the way it was when you arrived for others to enjoy. This is a family home and we rent to no one under 25 years old. Ocean Lakes has zero tolerance on disruptive behavior. The house was beautiful and very well maintained. Perfect size for my family. The oceanlakes check in people were kind of rude but the owner took care of everything very quickly. I will definitely stay here again!

The house we rented was filthy.. not up to date at all.. needs a complete deep clean.. there were not cleaning supplies supplied like there were supposed to be. I

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. Lots of room and a nice big, bright kitchen. Having coffee on the front porch in the morning was lovely and relaxing.

We enjoyed our trip so much! We were weary after reading reviews, however I am glad we chose to book anyways. The house was very clean, there were small things that were not (window sills, carport) but those didn't affect anything. The beds were noisy, but easy enough to ignore, also the dryer did squeak but again it was not enough to bother us. The furniture and linens have been updated since the photos were taken, and the tvs have also. We did not have any of the issues with the cable that anyone else had either. Mr Lewis was nice and professional and was always easy to reach. No complaints, will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay. Price was great and Golf cart was provided by the owner which is a plus even though we didn’t use it a single time because it was so cold out. The only other thing I could recommend is that house could use a good cleaning. And organizing. Thank you!!

Great layout. Great size for what we needed for 4 adults and 3 children. Greatful for golfcart which was a plus. Love the deck. However was upset that we paid for a property that had washer and dryer and dryer was broken. Had to wash small loads and dry on deck. No downstairs lights in parking area they were out. Golf cart brakes were bad/not safe. Tubs did not drain well took showers and they filled up to ankles. Talked to property owner about these items upon arrival. We had to take golf cart to repair shop in Ocean lakes and they fixed same day thankfully. Dryer was somewhat fixed on our last day but still did not dry well and squeaked really loud. Lights in carport never got fixed neither did tubs. We did also find a few roaches in rooms. The place was not cleaned before we got there. We found clothes in drawers in 2 of the rooms and some in closets on floors to include bikinis, and children's clothes /underwear. Bunkbeds did squeak with slightest movement and could not get 2 of the TVs to work due to connection errors. Was told had to change reservation back 1 week due to remodeling so came one week later and no recent remodeling or renovations seem to have been done.

We enjoyed our stay. I agree with previous reviews the house could use a good cleaning and some updates. House wasn't filthy or disgusting, just needed a good clean (understandable since you don't pay a cleaning fee, your depending on previous renter to clean). It's a good location right inside south gate and we liked that the house came with a golf cart. We did have issues with golf cart the owner was quick to get issues taken care of but we were without one for several days of our stay so we ended up renting one at our own cost. Owner did not respond to initial texts but was quick to answer phone when I called. Kitchen was well appointed beds were comfortable. We could not get the propane grill to work, it had gas but wouldn't ignite. We didn't have a lighter so we just cooked inside. Overall good place for the money.

Everything was amazing absolutely love the resort would definitely recommend staying here. There’s so much to do for all ages. Love the golf cart cruise every night the kids enjoy that. Everyone is so friendly here.

We enjoyed this campground and the property. The check in was a little rough. It was very crowded checking in on Saturday and a very chaotic getting into the campground.
The property was nice but the dryer squealed every time we ran it and it drove us a little crazy. We had to put the music on loud to avoid listening to it and at time put towels and clothes outside to dry.
The golf cart brake was not always in working order when parking, so that was a pain to bring a brick with us when we used it. The home looked very nice but needs some care. We were surprised to have the towel bar in the main bath popping off each time we took off a towel and countertop in rough shape as the trim is peeled off. The shower drain would back up as well and needed time to drain. The deck outside is bubbled up so we had to be cautious walking on it. A little handy maintenance would make this place be a five star rating.
Overall with all that being said it was a nice vacation and the property was fine for a weeks stay.

The house needs a deep Cleaning. It was beyond terrible. The owner needs to add a cleaning fee.

The house needs a good deep cleaning. Blinds and baseboards were dirty. In the rules you are suppose to clean before you leave, when we arrived I had to sweep all the floors and mop because there was sand in every room. Also cleaned the bathrooms because you could tell no one cleaned before we arrived. After the first day we had no cable tv for most of the week due to a breaker going out. Also the phone number in the booking isn’t for the owner, it goes to another guy who then gave me the number to the owner. The furniture was very worn down. Chair was torn on the arm and the recliner chair was so worn out it was flaking all over you if you sat in it. And whoever power washing the house did it while we were at the beach and my car was parked under the house and got covered in cleaner and looked horrible, spent $20 at the car wash to get all the grime off.

Location was quite and peaceful! House was very nicely decorated and maintained well. Owners were easy and great to work with. We will look to rebook this house in the future.
