Perfectly located between 4 of the coolest little towns in Central Florida....1 Mile away is Palm Harbor and Ozona...2-5 Miles away North is Innisbrook CC. home to Valspar Championship and Tarpon Springs (Greek Culture-Sponge Docks) 5 Miles away South is Dunedin /Honeymoon Island State Beach Parks and Spring Training..13 Miles further South is Clearwater Beach. East and further down the coast is St. Petersburg, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor and Tampa are also just 25 minutes away for those looking to relocate and need a central location to search for your new home. Nestled in Old Oak trees, and 1/2 block from the Gulf Park overlooking St. Joseph Sound you can walk your dog to the seaside, fish at the wi pier, ride bikes (provided)on the trail and kayak in the mangroves right in your own neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely piece of paradise. The location was so perfect for us. Loved the charming little bungalow we stayed in as well. Very comfortable. We will try to stay here again in the future.

The cottage is very comfortable and accommodating. Shopping and restaurants are very close. There are beaches all around including Crystal Beach at the end of the block. Beautiful sunsets most every night.

This charming bungalow was just right for 2 people. It had everything we needed and was thoughtfully decorated with a retro feel. It was nice to relax in the little screened porch. The main reason we rented this place was the location. We love the neighborhood. Good for taking long walks under the live oaks in the early morning (to see the super moon set) and in the evening strolling out on the pier to watch the sunset and pelicans diving. Shopping is just across Alt 19 and we were able to walk to Publix for provisions. (You can drive of course, but we are from New York and used to walking everywhere.) The Pinellas Train is just 2 houses away from the property. You can bike from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. The trail is also good for jogging. As the property description states - it is close to several quaint small gulf-side towns that are lots of fun to explore and some very good restaurants. (We ate at Molly Goodhead, Ozona Blue, Thirsty Marlin - all very good) It's a short drive to Honeymoon Island: nice beach plus a 3 mile nature hike that makes you feel like you are on your own deserted island. Clearwater Beach is not too far (about half an hour). The Palm Pavilion is our favorite place on Clearwater Beach. You can sip a Margarita at the bar and look out onto the gulf. I almost forgot to mention Tarpon Springs. The sponge docks are colorful, touristy, very Greek, but I also like Main Street with it's antique shops and there are Victorian style mansions to view around the town lagoon. There are even more activities available, but I am just reviewing the things I have done myself. (This includes eating excellent key lime pie from J.J. Gandy's only 1.5 miles north on Alt 19. on the west side of the road )
