Excellent Hôtel

Excellent accueil, amabilité de toute la famille. Chambre confortable et récente, propreté, spacieuse, avec terrasse et ventilateur pour les repas. A 100 m de la plage. Très agréable séjour.

Le chemin d'accès n'est que du sable, mais c'est secondaire. 1 remarque et non 1 critique, modifier les photos sur Booking car les nouveaux bâtiments tous neufs et modernes n'apparaissent pas.

Don't fall for the positive reviews, worst stay of my life.

Walking distance from the beach but remember it's not in front of the beach and initial impression of the host will b good. But b careful they r not

Huge problem with water, and the host was least bothered. 1. First of all water is available only for few hours, so u have to align all ur activities like brushing, bathing, washing w.r.t that timing and there is no fixed timing of that. If u r lucky u will be able to take bath without water getting finished. 2. Water is not clean, it dark yellow water, not sure about the reason behind it but u can't do brushing with it. Feels very unhygienic. We used mineral water to brush. 3. Initial impression of host seemed very caring, but they r not. 4. Looking at the water we didn't eat any food there, so can't comment on food. We reached at hotel at 6pm, while washing we noticed the water was yellow, but we thought it will go away and didn't bother. At 7pm we noticed there was no water, but the host was insisting that we don't know how to turn on the tap properly. So we tried few times and we insisted host to come and check by himself, but they were stubborn and kept saying we should turn the tap clockwise not anti clockwise, can u imagine? Finally after repeated complaint they finally came at around 8pm and checked that actually there was no water. The host switched on the motor and informed us that water will come in 10mins. But it didn't. Then we informed the host about the water issue again and went out around 9pm. From 7pm we were complaining and till 9pm water didn't come. We had dinner outside and came back again at 12 midnight. But to our shock there was still no water. We called host over phone, but they were not responding. They were 3 people husband, wife and son. But all 3 were irresponsible. Called husband and son multiple times but didn't receive any answer, sent WhatsApp but no answer. They saw our messages in WhatsApp but didn't bother to respond. Finally water came at 1:30 am, but it was yellow again. We decided to let it go as it was too late and went to sleep.

Cost effective

The host family did everything to make the guest's stay is made most comfortable. The little area in front of the house had a hammock and shower to use when returning from the sea

The car parking is a public open space. The 75 metre walk from there to the house was not well lit

Exceptional

Marari Lotus Beach Villa is a very beautiful and quite homestay, with clean and spacious room and a patium with your own seats and table open on a green and calm small garden. Only two minutes walk and you reach a wonderful beach not crowded, with palm trees and gold sand. The family is really lovely and full of heart, always helpful and absolutely nice. Furtheremore Mom (helped by her two daughters) is a great cook and we have had really special dinners, with fresh fishes just caught We have really loved everythings of this place and our stay, so we absolutely suggest and reccomand this homestay

Enjoyed this lovely stay , an awsome property

The host and family were very friendly and helped us with all the food and petty requests , since visited with toddlers it was a great support on all aspects

The room was clean

The location is not good. As it was in a remote area,we could not even get a cup of tea from any hotel so had to depend on the owner of the place for more than an hour for a cup of tea. It is just a two roomed building with local fishermen residing very close to the building.If the room was not clean,we would have returned then itself. It was a disappointment.

Wonderful beach location in a family property with kind staff

Great value for money, the property is right on the beach (or 2-min walk), the beach is most beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and cooked up nice meals for us. The room was nice, clean, and cozy.

Many hungry cats around. Please feed them.

excellent location and awesome stay.

The location of the villa is excellent. It is 100 m from the beach and is the perfect location for someone who wants to spend time on the beach. the facilities of the villa are satisfactory and the host is an excellent cook. the rates for food are very economical and the preparation of food was excellent.

Nice place on the beach!

Nice place, just few steps from the beach. Room was comfortable, you have all you need. The owners are very nice people, they help you with everything, the lady cooks delecious food. This place is highly recommended to stay in when you are in Marari beach!

Absolutely great homestay. All members of the family were super nice, friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Clean room and not even 2 minutes to the beach. For a very reasonable price you get delicious lunch and/or dinner. Hammock in the garden is also great for relaxing if the beautiful beach is too hot. Would definitely come again and recommend it!

just what the doctor ordered!

A beautiful, peaceful and well kept room right by Marari beach (30 second walk). The room is clean, bed very comfortable and was kept cool with AC. The hosts are lovely people, always happy to help and serve up brilliant food! I even extended my stay because i was unwell when I arrived and I loved it all so much! felt truly taken care of.

First time in Marari Beach

We felt right at home at the care of such a warm and welcoming family. The small villa is cozy, super clean, and conveniently located just steps to the beach. The food was exceptionally good. We had all 3 daily meals here for 5 days with a good variety of dishes.

Everything went great, it was a wonderful experience. Nice, spacious room, close to the beach, has everything you need for convenience and comfort. I am infinitely grateful to this family for their care and attention, delicious food and help in everything. It was the best experience of the whole trip to India and not only, I felt like a part of their family. I wish all the best!

Comfortable beach homestay that is a little challenging to find.

The hostess was amazing and was a great cook and the location can’t be beat (about 100 yards from a very empty but beautiful beach). The room was also spacious and clean and the beds comfortable.

There should be a sign on the main directing towards the villa as the Google Maps location was not correct and we had to ask for directions a few times. Additionally, you must pay in cash so be sure to have enough.
