Built in the Creole tradition and nestled in lush vegetation, it consists of two bedrooms (one double, one with 2 single beds), a bathroom with separate toilet, a large living room open to the outside (with sofa bed ) and an over-equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, coffee machine, large fridge and freezer, kettle, thermomix, toaster). Facing the sea, you can enjoy this peaceful and well-ventilated living environment, in the morning enjoying your coffee on the terrace or in the evening while lounging in the deckchairs. The large garden which extends around the house provides a perfect playground for children or a space for barbecue with friends. Depending on the season, juicy mangoes or traditional breadfruit will only have to be picked to be immediately tasted. If you want to find some animation or swim in the turquoise water, the village of Deshaies and the beach of Grande Anse are a few minutes away. Finally, although you are in a very ventilated area, if you like very fresh air, the ventilators and air conditioning will be your allies. The ground floor house is accessible to all. Jolie proprieté arrangée avec gout avec une superbe vu , l'accueille très chaleureux avec plein d'attentions. Bien situé à DEHAIE jolie vile. Tout était remarquable nous avans passé une très bonne semaine.

Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden und sauber. Begrüßt hat uns Suzy mit einem kleinen Imbiss. Die Kommunikation war etwas schwierig, da wir nicht gut französisch sprechen, aber wir haben es mit Hand und Fuß hinbekommen. Die Nachbarn sind auch sehr freundlich und sprechen englisch. Das Haus liegt oben am Hang, fast am Ende der Straße, ist aber dennoch gut zu erreichen. Der Ausblick ist großartig! Fazit: Wir können das Haus gerne empfehlen! Viele Grüße an Suzy!

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette location à DESHAIE proche du centre et où l'environnement est splendide avec vue sur la mer. Très beaux couchers de soleil garantis. Maison agréable et typique. Jardin bien entretenu. Avons été bien reçus par Suzy la cousine de la propriétaire qui est très disponible. Voisins en contrebas extrêmement sympatiques. Bon confort, mais il manque une clim dans le séjour, un peu chaud malgré le ventilateur au plafond. A conseiller

Séjour vraiment très agréable dans cette petite maison typique et tout confort, à proximité du centre et avec vue mer au milieu d’un très joli jardin. Nous avons été accueilli avec chaleur, une bouteille de planteur, des noix de coco, des accracs, et une bienveillance humaine très appréciée. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, et y reviendrons avec plaisir

Suzy waited for us when we came late. She prepared a gourmet dinner for us. She was very helpful. The house has great options for a group or couple. The view is fantastic and I like the area very much.

chalet grand et calme sans vis à vis avec vue sur la mer. Nous avons reçu un très bel accueil. Les équipements nous ont permis de nous préparer à manger et de réaliser entre autre des jus de fruits (mangue et passion). La terrasse couverte est agréable et nous a permis de passer de bons moments. Depuis Deshaies nous avons découvert toute la côte ouest et de magnifiques plages. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette adresse. Merci encore à Dany et Suzy.

En famille 2 adultes et 2 enfants (13 et 7 ans) maison créole typique placée sur les hauteurs de Deshaies, idéale avec un jardin pour les enfants et avec une très belle vue. Nous y reviendrons bien volontiers.

La maison est très pratique, bien équipé et bien situé. Le descriptif correspond à la location. Très belle vue sur la mer. Nous avons seulement regretté les voisins bruyants qui on fait des travaux et sculté des statues en bois à la tronçonneuse.

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at Kaz a Dany with our two nieces (ages 21 and 23). It was fabulous. Dany was helpful from the very beginning--answering all of our questions and giving advice as we planned our trip. The description of the rental is accurate, but does not do justice to this lovely cottage. The cottage is charming , impeccably clean, and well maintained. We stayed in two evenings to cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy dinner on our terrace---where we had breakfast every morning--lots of birds and no mosquitoes! The bedrooms have plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. We used the AC only to sleep. The rest of the time the house was breezy and comfortable. A small meal and punch were waiting for us when we arrived. The next morning we received a warm welcome from Dany's cousin Suzi, who gave us great advice on beaches and restaurants. The cottage is located in a very private, quiet spot, but is close to beautiful beaches (la plage Leroux was our favorite), and many restaurants (we liked Chez Lilinne at la plage Grande-Anse, Kaz a Pat in town, and Cherry's Pizzieria). The cottage is also close to les Jardins Botaniques (beautiful) and other sites. I promise that if you go to Guadeloupe and stay at Kaz a Dany--you will not be disappointed!

Es war bereits stockfinster als wir ankamen und hatten etwas Schwierigkeiten, das Haus zu finden, da es auch etwas versteckt gelegen ist..Wir riefen Dany an und da wir kein Französisch und Dany kein Englisch sprechen konnte, hat sie sich persönlich auf den Weg gemacht, um uns zu suchen. Auf halber Höhe hat sie uns aufgegabelt und zum Domizil gebracht..Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen...Nach Hausrundführung wurden wir auf einem hausgemachten Rum-Umtrunk eingeladen, lecker Bananen lagen ebenso bereit...Das Haus und die Lage sind toll und sowohl dort, als auch generell auf der Insel, fühlt man sich sehr sicher...Unbedingt ratsam ist es, mobil zu sein, da der nächste Supermarkt bzw die Ortschaft Deshaies ansonsten nur schwierig zu erreichen ist. Ein Jeep ist nicht zwangsläufig notwendig, auch wenn der Weg zum Haus und die Straßen/Wege auf Basse Terre oftmals recht steil und teils eng sind..Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Ausblick vom Grundstück ist toll und nachts hat man einen tollen Sternenhimmel...Dany brachte uns auch etwas selbstgebackenes vorbei und war für Fragen stets erreichbar. Sie ist sehr herzlich, vielen lieben Dank Dany !!! Die Unterkunft ist auf alle Fälle sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder !!!

Le gite est impeccable, le jardin est très agréable et surtout l'accueil de Suzy est très chaleureux. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille! (seul bémol, l'eau du robinet vient de la citerne et n'est donc pas potable, mais il parait que l'eau de ville arrive bientôt!;-))

We stayed for a month at this sweet house near Deshaies. It is located high on a hill overlooking the sea. Therefore we had fantastic views of the sunset everyday. They even have comfortable chairs to sit out in the yard to watch the sunset and stars! The house is very well equipped in the kitchen with all the dish ware and culinary items you could imagine. The property manager, Suzy was wonderful and was there waiting for us, even though we arrived late at night and she had warm food and drinks for us. It was a wonderful welcome. The beds are very comfortable and we were given clean linens and towels each week. The house was spotless. It is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. There is even a gourmet restaurant in walking distance that shouldn't be missed. On hot afternoons we enjoyed sitting in the shade under the two big mango trees enjoying the cool breeze. There were screens on the slats on the top of the window so ceiling fans made the rooms comfortable at night. AC is in the bedrooms if you need it. The only draw back was the steep drive up to the house but it's worth it when you get up there, for the cool breezes. It is not a walkable road down to the village. Beautiful beaches are a close drive away. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a wonderful vacation in paradise.

This house just up the mountains in Deshaies is absolutely wonderful! The house is cozy and charming, and the surroundings are quiet. You can see many stars. There are also hardly any bugs because the house is elevated being in the mountains. Dany and her friends we're wonderful to work with and made our stay very enjoyable!

A nice place to call a home from home, where you hand pick fruits on the door step. It's far enough away for peace and quiet , but it close enough to find places to eat, drink and shop It is only a short drive to the popular beach Grande Anse . and The Jardin Botanique (Botanical Gardens). an array of colours with birds, flowers, and fish. All and all a nice location and place to stay
